((Wow, the abilities of a Colossus reminds me of an Aragami...))
Azell walked back when he saw the Colossus. What the hell am I doing? I need to see if there are people that needs help! he thought as he rammed towards the broken parts of the town square while avoiding the Colossus' sight, looking for a person who needs help.

Let me teach you something good...~
Althalos is not a hero. That's why he's currently hiding from the Colossus in the bakery. No thoughts of saving people or helping fight the Colossus. You'd have to be crazy to want to risk your own life for others or to go up against a Colossus. The guards are brave, but there isn't going to be nearly as many alive in the morning.
Althalos had been walking near the bakery he had spent some time in before when the sound of the Colossus and panic filled the streets. In a state of panic himself, Althalos's first instinct was to hide and protect himself in the bakery. Whether it was a stupid move or not didn't cross his mind.
He is hiding behind the counter with the baker and others. He says nothing to the people and instead tries to make sense of what's happening. But for some reason, the sudden appearance of the Colossus brought only thoughts of the outside world to Althalos's mind. He wants to deny his dream of one day exploring outside of Kingdom, but if he's thinking of it at a time like this, then it must be what he truly wants. For so many years, he had settled for second best, but maybe it's time for change. Maybe...

While Rokudo is looking peacefully at the fireworks that light up the city, a mysterious loud sound emits from one of the wall "what!... a Colossus!!? That isn't possible... How did it...!?" Rokudo are quite shock from the noise that seems to be a Colossus but he's still keeping himself calm and think over his thought carefully. "If it was really a Colossus... Then going to the area now would be quite a bad choice, but.... Standing here...." Rokudo stand up to give himself a better look at the situation, he then spot a massive creature in that area. No matter how he looks at it, his thought can only conclude that the creature which broke through the wall is a Colossus.
((GG respect my Authoritah, also when the rune shard talks to you it talks through you so all the times you used it to others it looks like you are whispering to yourself.))
((2. Never heard of an Aragami, Play shadow of the colossus and watch attack on titan to see what these creatures are based on.))
Kael ignores the weirdo who is intent of dying his hair with lame paint, instead he turns around and runs back towards where the Colossus is 't know why i'm doing this, but i'd rather face the creature and the guards than that weirdo.> While running back Kael wonders where the female that was with Amissius got to, he also remembers that there was a fifth person in the bakery and the guard that had stopped to talk to Kael. "Hmm, no, i can't formulate any form of plan, i think i will just go evaluate the situation with the creature.
Kael stopped a street back and stared at the large Snake thing towering over the roof tops, it now had three blue chain things on it and many guards were moving along the roof tops throwing various magic such as flames and lightning at the creature, though the most of the guards used metal spears which they seemed to conjure from large satchels tied to their waist. Kael noticed that the buildings had flat roofs with tiles to allow the guards to fight upon them in such situations. "How convenient..."

((The only time I've used it in the city was when the guards had me cornered. So.... logic fail.))
Amissius frowns. "Fool." Not keen on bothering the guards, Amissius continues.

(( Shadow of the Colossus is one of the best Ps2 game I have played \(^0\^) ))
((Not sure if I should enter the area... well it's a Colossus we're dealing with..))
Rokudo take a good glance at the Colossus then slowly put his hood on "Damn.. It's seems like a very bad idea but i guess i have no choice to pick, this should be better than standing here and watch" Rokudo then sprint to the area so he help out the other civilians that still remain within the area close to the Colossus.
((Sorry, my internet was not working one day and then the next a tree fell on the powerlines so we had no power :[ anyways, back to the rp.))
The Colossus roars letting forth another beam of hot energy which scorched the sky, its terror devastating the nearby buildings. Several guards conjured more spears as their older ones simply bounced of the Colossus' skin "It's no use captain! Our weapons do nothing!" several guards were looking to the two elite who were acting as captains, the elite just notion that they are busy holding the creature in place with the blue binding flames and that it is up to the guards to figure it out.
Kael watches from afar seeing that the guards are merely scratching the creatures. "It seems as if their attacks are useless, what kind of monstrosity is that thing..." Kael head in closer to the town square for a better look but stops half way down the street, he has a strong urge to hide from the creature but would rather examine what this thing was so that if he ever faced one alone he would be able to escape.
"OI! Get back!" a guard screams at Kael before jumping to another roof as the creature lets out another beam, the chains binding its mouth not holding much back.
(( I know you weren't gone long by forum roleplay standards, but I'm glad you're back in action, man. I'm interested as to what's next in this epic story, and how it will effect each individual character ))
(( Unfortunately, I'm currently out of fresh ideas for my character, so I'm going to wait until some more stuff happens before I make another IC post ))
Two mages appear from the darkness, wearing similar attire to the elite but these draped in a black cloak rather than the blue flame-symbol cloak of the fire mages. The shadow mages clasp their hands together and a symbol appears, a stream of shadow develops and encircles the large beast. The Colossus screeches in agony before being driven to the ground by the shadow stream which slowly begins to tighten its grip, separating the body segments of the creature bit by bit before cracking the stone-like skin.
The fire elite take their place, the chains triple in thickness before crushing the Colossus further, its body finally shattered by the force. The entire creature is turned to dust which falls to the ground. One of the Shadow Mages lifts the dust in a large sphere of shadow about the size of a house, ensuring to pick the majority of it for that is what would regenerate. The Sphere was carried over towards the south before both it and the elite mage disappeared. While the shadow mage picked the dust the other ensured to grab the emblem that was clearly visible on the creatures head when it was active and puts it in his cloak. The mage points to the center wall before disappearing along with the other two elite mages.
"What was that..." A city guard drops down by Kael who is just staring. "Don't worry, you should know, the elite guard are much stronger mages, them alone are worth a squad each." The guard scratches his head as he looks at the remnants: a large hole occupying the town center. "That went well i think." Kael thanks the guard and walks in the opposite direction.
(( Wow. I just spent at least half an hour on one of the most descriptive posts I've done in a long time. But while looking up a definition for a word in another tab, I accidentally this tab. To do a lot of work for something and then to have all that work done for nothing wasting precious time is a terrible feeling. I'll try to make another IC post later. I can't bring myself to try again just yet ))
((Yeah, i do that all the time.))
((Anyways, I have updated the OP to now hold a quick summary of all events, including chapters past, present and future.))
((Groups section was added))
((IC post probably soonish maybe.))
(( Ahh. The upcoming chapter teaser thing-ma-bob has gotten me excited for what's to come ))
(( With that said, time to post ))
(( By the way, in the first two paragraphs I assume the reactions and general actions of the NPC citizens based on what I think people would do in the situation. Up to you, Sol, whether you want me to change it or not, since it really isn't my right to control them on such a level ))
Silence. If anything was heard by Althalos after the Colossus threat was taken care of it's silence. Is silence a sound though? By definition it's the absence of sound, so technically no. But for some reason it seems like a sound as it can be recognized like a sound, and generally represents something, again, like a sound.
This time around the silence represents the shock, and the slow realization of the citizens of Vigor that the threat has passed. People are still scared of course and only the brave come out from their hiding spots to check on the situation to begin with. As time passes, more people return to the streets. There aren't nearly as many as before, and the people talk among themselves quietly. Just a murmur to the people who aren't part of conversations.
Althalos doesn't have a reason to return to the streets, nor does he have a reason to stay in the bakery, so he leaves and just walks. A ghost in the crowd. None of the common folk take notice of him. But nor does he take notice of them. The silence, for Althalos represented something else. It represented a time of reflection which brought upon a realization for him.
When the possibility of death was upon him, Althalos had been thinking of his dream of going outside of the walls with more passion than ever before. But it didn't last. Once the threat passed, the passion began to fade away. He couldn't help it. It just... Happened. The realization that his dream was fading left Althalos ashamed, defeated, unsatisfied and empty. A terrible feeling reserved for the people who don't follow their hearts in life. There seems to be no hope for him. He now truly had to accept his life for what it was. No dreaming, just merely existing until he's gone.
Althalos feels pain in his heart, and his legs get number and number every step he takes. Before too long, it's too much for him. He stumbles to the left side of the road to lean on a building with his shoulder. After a few seconds of no movement, and no conscious thought, Althalos turns, his back hitting the wall with a thump and slides down to the ground to sit. Once in that position, everything that happened - the realization that his dream is gone, the colossus attacking, and all the negative emotions - set in. Tears make their way out of Althalos's eyes and he starts sobbing. He covers his face with his hands, and just lets it all out; all of the pain he had gone through.
Althalos can't explain why the appearance of the Colossus in Vigor brought upon him a newborn passion for his dream, but it did. That's all he knows. So when the Colossus was gone, dealt with by the elite guards, so quickly, and Althalos could go back to his normal life as a gardener without a second thought, the dream began to fade. No matter how bad this sounds, if the Colossus had destroyed the town before the elite guards could deal with it, and Althalos was the only survivor or one of the only survivors, he probably would've done everything in his power to explore the outside world, forgetting his past, and living for himself in the presence. But not everything goes so well for individuals, and Althalos isn't a strong enough person to create his own opportunities, instead relying on circumstance.
[Time: Approx 4:30am Day after the grand festival.]
The people slowly return to their normal activities, the sun began to rise, the festivities had been interrupted in such a rude manner. Surely no one had any desire to continue the celebration but as many had been saved by the guards who risked their life, joy and hope was still something that few managed to hang onto.
Kael stood staring at his feet, in the heat of the action he had been unable to move away, unable to run and hide, had he really risked his life back there just staring at the chaos that was going on? And during the ordeal the guards hadn't really shown as much concern for him as they had for some of the other citizens which Kael found quite odd. <Oh well...>
Kael wandered the main street as more and more people came to have a look at the devastation left in the wake of the ordeal, Something such as a breach must not have been common, Kael distinctly remembered one of the guards talking about the burrowing abilities of the Colossus. "Hey!" Kael spun right as a small girl rushed up to the hole where a fountain had once been, she peered over the edge before being chased away by a guard who had been sitting nearby.
Kael moved over to a building bordering the town square and leaned against the wall, the Colossus sure had made an entrance in a convenient location, it was like something out of a story nonetheless. As the hour proceeded workers came and boarded over the gaping hole in the town center so no one was to fall in, it was interesting to watch but in doing so Kael felt his eyelids droop, he hadn't realised that he had been up all through the night, though for the most of it the festival had been enjoyable.
Azell walked back when he saw the Colossus. What the hell am I doing? I need to see if there are people that needs help! he thought as he rammed towards the broken parts of the town square while avoiding the Colossus' sight, looking for a person who needs help.
