Ariel stands still in front of Meduseld, the golden hall of the king of Rohan. He's on guard duties and will stay still for another few hours. From where he stands he can see the plains that eventually lead to other lands and adventures. Ariel knows that he isn't going to be able to protect everyone in the world, but he does know he can protect more than he currently is, standing still protecting the king and the lords. Not exactly many people compared to the whole population of Edoras.
See, Ariel treats every innocent life the same. Whether it be the king or a homeless man with no clear future, they are still the same in his eyes. A king gets his position from luck most of the time. The only specification you need is to be the son of the former king. So it's completely based on luck. Ariel does know that kings are trained from a young age to do what they do, but he also knows that they are trained to treat people equally either.
Ariel's emotions are getting the better of him and he pulls a blank note and a quill from his supplies attached to his belt and writes a small message to the General explaining something. Once done, Ariel pockets his quill and hands the note to the guard standing on the other side of Meduseld's massive door. "Give that to the general when you get the chance." Ariel says. He walks down the hill and into the village.
At Ariel's house, he explains the situation to his family and they don't like it, but they knew they wouldn't be able to stop him. They give him a short farewell before he mounts his horse and rides into Rohan's plains.
Althalos finishes his talk and exits the house, running to the outside of the forest. He climbed onto his house and rode back to Erodas, where he stopped outside his house. Must finish this task successfully. He got off his horse and ran up the hill towards the general's quarters. He reaches and knocks the door, clearing his throat. The general opened the door and greeted Althalos. "I need to resign for now, I have a task I need to fulfill" said Althalos as he bows once. The general nods and pats Althalos on the shoulder. "You were one of the best, come back soon" said the general. He closes the door and Althalos turned and walked away. He ran to his horse and got on it, riding off away from Erodas. He rides to the plainsof Rohan.
((Must meet up with you two because otherwise I'll be bored.))
Aaerin finishes sharpening his twin blades, which he puts back into their baldric on his back. His bow and quiver was hanging, ready to go. The adorns his worn leather armor. Aaerin swiftly tackles the rest of his meal that had been left on his carved wooden table that sat in sat in the middle of his small shack. The air smelt of the ashes that were in his fireplace, which still had small embers smoldering from the night beforehand.
As Aaerin finishes his plate of food, he washes it and puts it in his cupboard. He puts out a lamp that had bathed the area in warm light. The elf grabs his bow and quiver and walks outside, over to a black stallion that he owned. He ties the bow and quiver to its saddle, which had been securely fastened moments beforehand. He also tied his supplies to the stallion and mounted it. The horse started running towards Rohan's plains after Aaerin tapped its side with his foot.
Ariel rides North into Fanghorn forest, for he's heading to Rhovanion to see how the people are doing there. He plans to go to all countries in the world and help them as much as he can.
He is halfway through the forest when the path is blocked by two men wielding broadswords and wearing fabric around their faces to hide their identities.
"We'll be taking anything of value from you." They say in sync.
Ariel hears footsteps behind him and he turns to find the path to get out is blocked. To his left and right are more bandits blocking his way into the forest. They wield bows and arrows, but the ones in front and behind Ariel wield swords. I can easily take care of the swordsmen, but the archers are going to be a problem, he thinks.
"And what if I say no?" He asks.
The bandit in front of him says, "We'll kill you."
Althalos rides towards Fanghorn Forest to fulfill his task. He rides into the forest and observes his surroundings. His ears tingle to a sound, which turned out to be a couple of bandits talking. He stops and gets off the horse, sneaking behind a tree and observing them. He saw the man being held up and recognized him, Ariel from the army. He then shifts his attention to the archers and slides out his daggers. He tries to get Ariel's attention.
Aaerin rode towards the forest, because he had found tracks that seemed to lead towards there. The elf dismounted his horse and strung his bow. Notching an arrow, Aaerin approaches cautiously. Henotices a man being held up by bandits, and takes aim to help him out.
Ariel notices the sun reflected into his eyes for a moment. He turns to see Athalos, who he has met on a few occasions in the army, sneaking up on the bandits to his right. Little did he know, the bandits on the left were being snuck up on as well. Ariel looks at Athalos long enough for him to know that Ariel has acknowledged him.
Ariel dismounts his horse and says, "I have three things of value. My sword, my horse and my armor. Take them and go."
"Do you think we're stuipid? We're not coming over there while you're armed. Throw your sword a few meters in front of you and take off your armor. Otherwise we'll kill you with our archers."
(( I'll leave it there so you guys can kill the archers right after he says that. ))
After the lead bandit finishes his sentence, Althalos sprints to the archers and starts spinning, slashing his daggers in swift, precise motions. He killed the first then quickly shifted to the right, slashing at the next. The third archer fired an arrow at Althalos. He dodged it with ease and threw a dagger to his chest. The fourth archer takes too long to aim and was slashed by Althalos. The final archer drops his bow and took out his sword, charging at Althalos. Althalos ducks from the first slash and stabs him in the stomach. There were no archers on his side left. He pulled out the dagger and ran to the other, which is in the third archers chest. He pulled it out and turned his attention to Ariel.
Sir Ithmagpe lay on his bed, bored out of his mind. He rolled over onto his stomach, and pulled the rope at the side of his bed. He smiled as he imagined the chaos down at the kitchens, the servants wondering why he was asking for breakfast in the noon. He sat up, and brushed at his coat. His butler came in, Butler.
"Come here Butler." Sir Ithmagpe could barely keep the bored expression off of his face.
"Sir?" Proper, as always.
Butler placed the tray on the dresser, he was used to waiting out Sir Ithmagpe's (often childish) outbursts. He waited for Sir Ithmagpe's drone to end.
"-oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooored!!!"
"Sir... may I recommend the trip you have been planning? Now seems like a good time to put it into action."
Sir Ithmagpe's eyes widened.
"Aha! I've got it! It is time to put my brilliant idea into action! To the stables!"
Sir Ithmagpe jumped out of bed, trembling with excitement from his plan that came out of nowhere. He had been planning this trip for MONTHS! He ran to his dresser, sliding the tray off of it. Butler sighed. He knew who would have to clean that up. Sir Ithmagpe reached into the lowest drawer, feeling around. There was a click! and Sir Ithmagpe pulled out a letter, with a flourish that would put a magician to shame. He placed it on the table, already knowing it's contents by heart. Suddenly, he realized how ridiculous he looked. He regained his composure, not wanting to seem like a hyperactive child, though he basically was one. He walked towards the door, and as he left the room, he called back, "Don't forget to clean up the mess!"
((... Oh dear God, what have I created?))
Aaerin watches as the arrow he had notched soars towards an enemy. Without checking to see if it hit, he fired off another arrow at the second person out of five. Then Aaerin dropped his bow as the remaining three aimed their bows at him. Unsheathing his two blades, he sprints at them. The bandits were apprised surprised that he would just run at them like that.
The bandit closest to him was the first to recover his wits, and fired at Aaerin. The elf sidesteps it and jumps up, raking both swords down his body. Then he runs towards the next bandit, who frantically shot an arrow that missed by several feet. The elf ducked under a swing of his bow and kicked him across the face, knocking him out. The last bandit drops his bow and runs off.
Sir Ithmagpe walked down the echoing halls quickly, he didn't want to been seen too much. Suddenly, a servant called out, "Sir? Where are you going Sir?" The sound of a hand slapping a forehead rang out through the halls. Sir Ithmagpe swerved around to look at the maid, who wasn't exactly trembling at the sight of him. Sir Ithmagpe was regarded to be a gentle, simple guy. He smiled a warm smile at her, and said, "It seems that by you calling me, you have attracted my attention, therefore DECREASING my awareness of my general vicinity, leaving my quite vulnerable and open. Now, I may be sounding a bit xenophobic, but I haven't seen you before, INCREASING the odds that this is an attempt at subterfuge and clandestineness, for which the aforementioned attempt at stealth to succeed requires me to abscond. So farewell!"
He hurried off before the maid could entirely piece together what he had just said. Afterwards he had realized how stupid he was and that he could have just said he was going to a party. Ah well, we do what we do. He made it out to the stables, where he attached his rapier to his belt, and got on the horse. He took a breath, and then smiled slightly. "Oh please Ithmagpe, what could POSSIBLY go wrong?" How stupid of him to say that.

Torrak coughed, spreading dust everywhere. He had just helped a prisoner escape. Torrak lumbered to the surface to meet the new-comer. It was an elf. He frowned, knowing that they would have to work together to escape." Who are you?" he asked with a gravely voice.
"I'm Hinnoron." Hinnoron told the dwarf with a look of disgust on his face." And who might you be?"
"Name's Torrak." he said as the two started walking through the orc hideout.
Sir Ithmagpe regarded the world around him. The bright sun, the beautiful plains. He wondered out loud, "I wonder why this place hasn't been exploited yet?" He laughed at his own observation, "Oh, sometimes I can be SO droll!" Regarding the sun, and knowing that it sets in the West, he decided to go North. After all, he wanted to protect his good side, his right one. So he set off at a comfortable pace, hoping to find something new or interesting.
