(I'm District 5, not 1, but I just wanted to ask you something.) I noticed that I'm next. I have to go now, and I probably won't be on until late tomorrow, so can you skip me if it's my turn to do the private session and have me do it that night? Thanks!

The pen is mightier than the sword. I keep the sword for the day I run out of ink.
It was my cue to get up and hopefully impress the Gamemakers. I decided to go with the "higher score" method, rather than taking the risk of getting a low one. But again, my method had two more different ways.
One was to make some kind of outstanding show. I saw a few do something that daring, some getting great scores as a result. But still, it had risks. Others either failed showing off to the Gamemakers, or instead of impressing the Gamemakers, it makes them look too arrogant. A sure-fire way to repel some sponsors. Besides, only the Careers from District 1 do something like that; they know they'll always get a nine or ten afterwards, they were loyal to the Capitol, after all.
Another was to do it straightforward. Just show them your skills directly, Gamemakers want results, not dazzle. I agreed with my thinking and went with the latter.
Entering the room, I noticed various weapons. Machetes, firearms, throwing knives, long bows, crossbows; you name it. And there it was; the harpoons, spears, and tridents.
Picking up a spear, I felt its handle, and took a deep breath. It was now or nothing. Each throw counts as my chance of survival.
I threw the spear, the weapon landing two circles beneath the bulls-eye. A few Gamemakers looked in disappointment. If I was trying to impress the Gamemakers at this rate, I wasn't doing a good job.
I threw a second, this time landing one circle above the bulls-eye. Not good enough, I thought. The next one had to be a bulls-eye.
Taking another deep breath, I threw the spear, and time itself felt distorted. I was beginning to sweat, yet the Gamemakers finally looked in surprise.
The sound eventually came. Looking up, I hoped for a bulls-eye, something that would make the Gamemakers witness my full potential.
Another miss from the bulls-eye. Away one circle to the right. The Gamemakers looked even more ashamed than before I threw the spears.
"So it's results they want..." I muttered. I went to my second weapon, the trident.
Grabbing it, I threw the trident, landing a bulls-eye. I threw another, having the same result. The other two landed slightly away from the bulls-eye. Astonished by my skill of tridents, I placed my trident on the rack. "I feel tired now. May I leave?" I requested.
((Accepted, both SkylordCentral and funkybub! That leaves only one tribute to go! And as for the individual sessions, since people post at different times and whatnot, we can do them all out of order, it isn't seeming to work particularly well otherwise. Whenever you get the chance, assuming you haven't already done the individual session, you can do that.))

As I am eating, the commentator, followed by a group of producers, walks over to me and is wondering if he can ask me some questions. Wiping my face, I say, "Breamtus, isn't it? Sure, ask away!" I say interestedly. I motion for him to take a seat beside me.

((This is a real offer BBQ, want to ally with me?))
Walking in the hallway, I noticed the boy tribute from District 1. He was outside the door of his first floor room, where the coach, escort, and tributes of District 1 often hang out.
This was my chance. If I find some way to impress the Careers, I'll be a member of the Career Pack. It was what District 1 tributes do; even District 2 and my own district, which were once Career Districts, have used the same method. Alliance the Careers, along with other districts, then kill off the rest. This would go on until the end-game, when we'll have to kill each other to win the Games. I had to formulate some kind of plan so in the end-game I'll be able to either kill him off or run. Or if I'm lucky, I won't need to kill him, and just let some other tribute kill him before we're the last.
"Hey..." I was hesitating on words. "May I team up with you for an alliance? We'll kill off the other tributes. Or take all the kills for you, if you wish."
"Well, thats a lot of questions!" I comment jokingly. As I stop laughing, I reply, "Well, there are a lot of things we did to make this year special. The arena, for one, is different than last year. Now I won't give too much away, but-" I give a qick grin. "You can be certain that there will be some suprises." I take a sip of wine, then continue. "I think that all of the tributes are much more evenly matched this year than ever before, which certainly will make a difference. It is definately going to be interesting with the games being less predictable. As for that last question, I'll hint that we have a little... something in store at the end. When you see the arena and think that is exciting, just wait!" I add with a flourish.

Sitting on the couch, I remembered I forgot to mention my name myself. It was pretty hasty of me to just rush out there without an answer. I guessed that I would soon find out his name during the training score announcement.
Tomorrow was the D-Day. The day I get into the Hunger Games arena to participate for the...118th Hunger Games? They said that they've switched to a fourth announcer, but I wasn't sure how he looks like. They used to do interviews, but because of the Capitol's citizens' eagerness, they just struck that out completely and went directly into the Games.

Smiling, laughing and nodding at the appropriate times. I stand up and turn toward the camera. "This years hunger games will be the biggest, best and have plenty of surprises in stock! Stay at your seats. The games begin soon!" I say, with a huge smile in my face. I place my hand into his and quickly shake. I release and then the cameras are off. Picking up the glass with the finest red wine, I take a sip and quickly slow.
"Nice wine down here Klarr."
I reply, "Well, this wine is for the Hunger Games! You can't get much better then that, eh? Laughing, I say, "I suppose I'd best be off. Have to arrange something for the arena... well, it is pleasant to meet someone who isn't obsessed with the every aspect of some random rock that the tributes probably won't even come close to!" Still chuckling, I stand up, and brushing off my suit, return to the gamemaking control room.
Yawning I wake up in my room. Yes, I zonked after the reapings. An Avox is likely to come and get me when the games start anyway. Turning on my side I fall asleep again.

I nervously walk in. "Hi, I'm Ryan, from 2" I pick up the heavy weights and through a couple, some reaching over 5 Meters. After that i head over to the Crossbow section, where i get A bulls-eye and 3 alsmost bulls-eyes. I walk over to the punching training and do some good punches. I through some more Weights then they tell me my time is up. I leave, re-thinking everything i did, hoping to get a good score.
Sam was now. He had already in mind what he should do. He wasn't going to threat the gamemakers, like others tried, they just were going to get entertained. Well, one is going to be threatend. Now was my time to get the sponsers.
((please don't read the spoiler, other tributs, due meta-gaming.))
As Sam walks into the training room, He sees the gamemakers sitting around it. perfect Sam thinks. He starts building his project. A torch here, an automated crossbow there. It takes some time, and at the end it doesn't look impressive. Some torches in a circle pattern, with some crossbows behind a few. In the middle a catapult with a dummy, and Sam has a Sniper rifle against a wall. He asks to a butler to turn down the lights, making it pitch black. 'Let the show begin...' He than says. Sam quickly runs around the room, but quietly, leaving the gamemakers no clue where he is. Than, he quickly picks up a torch, and he lights it, and all running letting the other torches get lighten to. Than, he rushes to the middle, firing the dummy in the air. The automated crossbows than fire all through the torches in the body of the dummy, letting it also get lighten. To finish it, he grabs the sniper rifle, and fires through the head of the dummy, into a vase standing behind the headgamemaker, making it break in pieces. Some are ammused, some are scared, but Sam is happy it turned out well. 'You can go now...' Says the headgamemaker. Sam bows, than he leaps out of the room, leaving the dummy behind him to burn to the ashes. ((Say it if i was thinking a little to big))
I started off be shotting some pistols, at first I used one but they werent impreesed so I decided to go for akimbo and well they liked it more.
I then went to the axes, quite a few were happy when I chopped most of the way through a dummy's torso and they then said I could go.

...With a score of- 9.
(Like I said on page 3, I've been away for a couple of days and haven't done my private session, so I guess I'll do it now. If I've been away for too long and can't join, just tell me.)
Stupid. I fell asleep and overslept so that I missed the private session. I quickly ask the guard if I can do my session fast before they announce the scores. He replies yes, and I go in.
"Sorry that I'm late," I tell the remaining Gamemakers. I go over to the target practice station and shoot a couple of dummies. Almost all land near the bullseye, but one goes far astray and gets lodged in the door. "Stop it!" I reprimand the snickering Gamemakers. I notice that the motor is still running. Time to execute my plan. I actually had the sense to fashion the bullet/boomerang before coming in, so my retrieval of the motor goes off without a hitch. "Thank you for your time." I bow and exit.

"Hello, people of Pamem!" I exclaim as I enter the camera's veiw. "Now for what you have all been waiting for! This year, we decided to go for something a little different- hills and canyons! In the center of the arena, where the cornocopia is located, is in a lush valley with a lake and trees. However, there is elsewhere expanses of deep canyons, tall mountains, and steep ridges! There will be much more action as howling winds, lack of water, and perilous climbs and drops force the tributes ever towards each other." I sip my wine as I allow the commentator to speak.
