Aww Yeah, Combat ready - Space Whales XD
Anyways, This is starting to get quite interesting, Is it possible for Others to create their own races aswell?
I wouldn't count on being able to do that until the GMs make races and the other GMs (to my knowledge) has no races in mind just yet and I barely have a grasp on what the Drang race should be. Heck, the lore or story for this RP has barely been made yet due to my over focus on [redacted].

Seems legit. Well, i guess i will just sit tight in the meantime, I've got a couple more days of exams then i can help you out, though don't count on it as im quite Terribad at coming up with Plot, especially Sci-fi. Soo, i guess for now, good luck.
Fellow GMs (Hug, Blue, Keen) let's build this role play's content, shall we? The basic idea is good, but what about the flesh that covers the bones?
Well I minus well break the ice.
Name: Drang
Anatomy:
(Picture since I suck at describing things)
The drang are best described, evolutionary family wise, as some cross between a reptile and a arthropod. The drang have both a segmented hard shell carapace and internal bone structure likened to that of a snake's. They are, like reptiles cold-blooded and prefer hotter locations often wearing their equivalent of a sweater even in temperate temperatures. They have six segments: The head segment, two upper limb segments, two lower limb segments and a end segment. The head segment has three sets of frontward facing eyes that can be any primary or secondary color with the whole cornea being the eye color. The head also has a under mouth slit that hides numerous rows of cutting and grinding teeth in its mouth and gill-like slits at the side of the head for hearing. The drang's brain makes up a good fourth of its head.
The upper limb segments have three sets of appendages, two of these sets are centipede-like legs while the front set are arms that have hands at the end of them with a index finger and a ring finger along with an opposable thumb. The limbs in general are very thin, arthropodal, and are not that strong only being able to hold up to forty pounds at best. The lower limb set is like the upper limb set except there are no arm appendages, only leg appendages.
The end segment has nothing notable. The whole Drang's body structure is triangular in design with curved sides although the underbelly of a drang is not curved. Drang can come in numerous colors, some of them even having a different color for each segment of their body.
Info:
The drang are a very pacifist race, often hiding themselves away from other civilizations by cloaking their planets in a dyson sphere and having armies of drones patrolling that are primed to attack any threat should they prove to be a threat. The reason for drang pacifism is that they have a crushing fear of death, due to their low reproduction rate and normally very long life spans achieved through their high advancements in medical care to the point where they have made anti-bodies that can eliminate tumors, cancer and even prions easily and are very adaptive.
Due to the nature of a drang, they are often germaphobic even with their extremely medically enhanced immune systems. They when outside their worlds are seen always fully suited in their equivalent of a hazard suit with multiple filters lining the back of the suit to allow breathing. Drang often try to avoid fights or anything that can put them at a risk of death thanks to their incredibly high fear of death. Drang thanks to their medical technology find themselves often targeted by other races for their medical supplies drang will rarely share with other races.
Drang when it comes to protection from attackers and numerous tasks in their society are very reliant on drones and have a large verity of drone models that all have a very notable psyche in common about them. Their AI is smart, but not robotic instead having as a result of thousands of years isolating themselves made their bots much like some of the life forms they observe, namely humans.
As a result the drones show oddly human-esque mindsets and unlike drang are very talkative even in the middle of attacking. They respect drang like a child respects their mother and find it unthinkable to harm a drang as it would be like harming their own mother. The drang drones do fear death, but not nearly as much as the drang do, only as much as a human does. While the main purpose of the drones are usually to fend off attackers, they will willingly do any task they are requested to do with reasonable efficiency although do require practice to be effective in tasks given to them. Thanks to drang germophobia the drones will often clean themselves, certainly after finishing a task although they aren't as big of germophobes as drang are.
Drang do not eat food, they rely on vitamins for energy due to the potential germs food has instead. Drang ration out vitamins to each drang on the amount of nutrition they need. Drang jobs are often scientific or medical with drone handling jobs as well although they all pay the same.
The drones should they for some reason attack their mothers are given the same punishments illicit drang are given; they are either exiled or imprisoned. The drones that are against drang are in the vast minority. Drang drones have the innate ability to constantly fire wall hacking attempts and are very secure overall from hacking attacks, but they are not immune to a EMP attack.
The shell of the dyson sphere of the drang world along side thick layers of armor has multiple layers of EMP protection and emergency manual particle turrets lined across the whole dyson sphere. The dyson spheres drang use don't have much living space in them for a couple extra layers of armor.
Drang when it comes to searching for new worlds to colonize only will pick more barren worlds further away from a star that than need to be terraformed and cloaked with a dyson sphere. Due to the incredibly high amounts of resources needed to colonize worlds, drang colonization rates are in comparison to other empires incredibly slow however their worlds are well-protected and near-impossible to find.
Drang that commit crimes are punished harshly, often with long times in prison or if the drang is especially bad, exiled with some drones and a hazmat suit and may never come back to the drang world. Drang that are exiled usually end up dead from starvation or the lack of ability to deal with the harshness of outside space. Only a couple drang have been lucky enough to survive in outside space.
Drang use very well armored spacecraft which are constantly repaired by drones who orbit their ship that are only used for transport of material or colonization. The ships have last-resort defenses, but they are weak and often the ships will retreat or avoid attackers.
The age of the drang civilization is arguably immense, and older records of their history show that drang were once nearly killed off before they took the current form of empire they now do today. Their government wasn't always like the way it is today and their appearance was even different.
Government:
The drang are a society where the drones do the majority of the work while most of the drang spend their time researching the galaxy and finding cure to as many diseases, virus, parasites, and forms of bacteria as possible. Due to the insanely high amounts of illnesses, their work never ends and they have their drones do the more practical and physical work such as building constructing/repairing along with making other drones.
Drang will only colonize new worlds when their population counts, which go up more than they go down even with the low reproduction rate of drang, supercede their production rates or if the resource amount is too low. Even than they as mentioned before go through a very specific and slow process of colonizing other worlds.
--------
The only playable drang would probably be exiled drang and their drones.
I find it hard to believe centipede-like beings can physically build drones or be anywhere near smart enough to come up with them. This is a problem I notice with a lot of the races you come up with. You make animal-like beings way too smart, and you make them do things they'd be physically incapable of doing; like that bear animal you drew for Sagittarius, where you said they were smart enough to fly spaceships even though they didn't look like they could even physically pilot them or build them.
EDIT: Actually, after taking a second look at the drawing, I realize their front "hands" could possibly be used to build drones, but you're gonna' have to explain that by saying their frontal hands are very developed or something. Their intelligence can be argue, but I'll let it pass.
There are multiple possible ways to do things, an alien doesn't have to bipedial after all. The way a drang city is built is not the way a human city is, they would be designed to accommodate the design of the drang; like they would probably have tubes instead of stairs for example. Same with spaceships and tools as well.
I think the problem with the dexterity required to create drones is that their limbs are too short (which I think is what you are getting at), if they were longer they would be fine since they do often go upright with their upper limbs like seen in the picture. If the limbs were longer or their hand formation changed they would be totally capable of making drones because the way their brain is built doesn't need to be the same as the way a human brain is built. The family of species this drang in is only compared to arthropods and reptiles, the family of creatures the drang is in just is not the same as those two.
As for intelligence, bipedality =/= intelligence as shown by how intelligent even dogs are. While humans are the smartest animals on the planet, dolphins are in second place despite the only thing in common being that the dolphin is mammalian. The only reason we don't compete with dolphins is that they don't have hands or thumbs or anything that fits the role of hands/thumbs. The dominant race doesn't have to be bipedal, it just needs opposable thumbs and a smart brain.
I will make the limbs and hands they use more realistic (along with their porportions), but they will stay pretty much the same.
I realize they don't have to be bipedal to be intelligent, but at least make them look like they'd be physically able to build things. If you make their limbs slightly longer and make their "hands" more developed, I'd believe they're capable of building drones and the like. What I mean though is that you sometimes make animal-like aliens that don't look physically capable of, for example, flying ships like you claim they can. After a second look at the drawing I've realize the Drang are fine, but you do make that mistake a lot. I mean, sure, an alien can be intelligent, but if you make their physiology too animal-like, they won't be able to utilize their developed brains to build things, no even by adapting. The same way a dolphin, although smart, can't physically ride a bicycle.
I'll probably do a revision of the drang sheet (only on the anatomy and to organize it better since you seem fine with everything else) and make a illustrator version of the drang later on.
Since this RP is only in the race making stage, I am curious to see what race you have in mind. Humans are going to be the last race made. Basically my idea is overall is that each GM makes a race and than human race is made. After the race making than planets (two per GM) are made where than the factions are created. That's the pattern I have in mind for this RP since factions don't necessarily have to be single race exclusive.
I doubt many people will be drang personally, probably like 1-2 people will be drang or just be their drones instead since the drones can be independent of drang.
Hm. I'm currently thinking about bulky 9' tall aliens being plausible. Their structures and vehicles would have to be bloody gigantic, but on the flip side they could dual wield miniguns or some awesome **** like that.

My name is Ozymandias, king of kings. Look upon my works, ye mighty, and despair.
Although I am trying to focus on the initial GM races right now, I'll look at it.
Non-GM races will probably be intensively looked at and added if they are good enough after the core necessary content (4 alien races not counting humans and bots/cyborgs/androids, 8 planets, and 4 factions) is created although thanks to the open nature of space the existence of more races is very feasible as the race creation standards are not as rigorous as sacrilege, but at the same time I don't want everyone who plays the RP making an alien race.
I am not open to having anymore than four factions unless a 5th GM is introduced or something because I have no idea how many peple will play this game and each faction will probably have 1/4th the player count in the overall RP and four factions to choose from is arguably already pushing it.
Drang drones appearance-wise I have decided to leave somewhat ambigious other than that they hover for now. Although I am thinking they have two modular parts that can be switched out with guns/arms/tools and so on.

One day, there will be someone who looks at my signature and wonders "who gives a damn?"
I've now got an idea of what this RP is story-wise!
Basically put, andromeda and milky way collision casing all sorts of madness. This causes all the stars to jumble around and **** along with large nebula clouds colliding making the night skies for planets look like they are burning from the collisions of nebulas. Stars would not be colliding due to simply having too much space in-between them.
However this puts this RP billions of years into the future, so this leads to 'humans' just not existing or taking a form incomprehensible to us if they somehow lived billions of years as evolution constantly happens. We would probably at that point be effectively living holograms or something. God-like beings as some could say. The only feasible way humans could be in this RP is if somehow what many would call "prehistoric" forms of humans (I.e humans now) were stored in a DNA bank for billions of years or something.
That's a big issue with an RP billions of years into the future is that humans will either be unfathomably advanced or extinct. Humans from today warped billions of years into the future would be absolutely alienated by everything due to it being billions of years into the future.
So the alien races around would be much newer in comparison to humans and some races from andromeda would totally be here as well.
The driving motive of the story is something I can't think of entirely due to lack of content; only one race with a in-depth app and two races that have conception only.
I hope this info kindles some interest in this RP a bit.
I'd wait until the other GMs (if they do) make some races. I will probably only be open to new races/planets if this RP actually has pre-creation done. I think 4 factions unless proven otherwise is enough personally.
For now I minus well make two planets.

All right then, I'll probably base the looks off of the Stone Golems from Dragon Age. Except, you know, not made of stone.
Other than that, I've got nothing for now. I'll be more active during the summer when I'll have much more free time, but I have to focus on other things right now.
