Yes I believe it was necessary to take a hostage. If, for some reason you were hostile, then I would have someone to interrogate and a route of escape. Obviously that would be something you wouldn't have gone over seeing as you haven't trained for this before. My apologies. I agree that it is not the best way to socialize but considering the situation I think you would understand my exaggerated caution. If it would comfort you and your friends I had no intention of taking your friend's life... not that at this point it would help much i suppose.
I began to memorize every feature of this blitz. It seems that he was a blend between an animal and a human. Tail, claws, fangs, i would have mistaken him for a cat had I not noticed the difference in the way he moves and talks. I will have to learn to track these people, if there are others they could prove a substantial threat if they prove to be hostile.
Not a daemon? yes, now that i see you more clearly you certainly do not look like a daemon. All the better. You might have been dead right now had you been one.
I understand your need to be angry at me, who wouldn't? If you choose that you're fine on your own then you can simply let me leave,Living off of nature is not terribly difficult. or if you think i should be killed for the earlier intrusion and rather fight it would be nothing new to me. Lives of an enemy are worthless to me. . but that also means that i could, consider you hostile should i come across your group again. I think both of us would rather avoid that yes? In the end it's the decision of you three whether or not you allow me to join you, is it not?
With that final statement I waited. This blitz... I am weary of him, he seems to be too full of himself, however he lacks the qualities of a leader, and does not seem in power here. If he did then he wouldn't have hid when is friend was being held hostage. Too much time for the blade to slide across the human's throat. The elf seems to have trained long. Possibly as hard as I have. But with my village destroyed as a child, all i could do was train to survive with the rest of the Quas. I hope they will answer me soon.
Finally taking my arrow back to my quiver, I listened to the conversation. Daemon... Daemon... Daemon... "I think you miss understand what a Daemon is, Qua." I knew how to summon one, yet is has been a long time since I had summoned one, not exactly remembering what motions I had to use. I did remember that a different circle and different sized circle meant a differently shaped Daemon. A daemon's name is determined the first time you summon one, you give it a name and from then on every time you summon one it has the same name. Not having any of the stones for a great daemon, nor the time. I went outside and simply drew a small dirt circle in the ground. I just hope I remember how to summon one, or I can be left in disaster. I began the incantation. Bringing my left hand down, to touch the ground then swooping it up towards the sky. Right hand left. Left hand right. Right hand down, left hand on chest. I finished the movements and said the word. "Daemon!" A bright white flash, telling me that the spell had worked. "Hello Vevila! It's good to see you again!" I turned to see a wolfing that seemed to be coated in dirt. Picking it up and squeezing it, "It's good to see you to. Zasha."
I followed the elf as she stepped outside. Still, nobody had answered my questions directly and i was beginning to grow weary. I followed the elf as she stepped outside. My doppelganger spell was fading and I knew I had not much time before i would have no outside protection if i was attacked.
The elf began to draw a circle, and I started to wonder what she was up to... she stared mumbling familiar words. I had heard them before... but where? when?
As soon a she was uttered the last words memories came tumbling in. Our village was betrayed. I remembered now. An old, snappy Qua performed the same thing on the night... the night my family and village were destroyed. He summoned hordes of them, different shapes and sizes... THE ELF WAS DOING THE SAME!
Instantly i drew my longer blade prepared, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?" I yelled "WHY ARE YOU SUMMONING A DAEMON?!" with my blade ready to strike i looked at.... what? a puppy? a wolf? no no it was a small wolfing!
This little creature could do no harm to me, i sheathed my blade and walked over to her. "Why did you do that? I am aware that I misunderstood what your friend was but you didn't have to summon a damned daemon to prove it!"
I felt angry, ashamed and humiliated. what would this accomplish? prove me wrong? big whoop. I utterly hate it when I am treated as a novice, obviously getting along with this group was going to be tough.
"Well I'm damn well sorry, but I haven't seen Zasha in forever!" I walked away to my hut in disapproval of the new coming Qua. "He seems a bit snappy." Mumbled Zasha. "I agree, he just came and he's accusing our one of our new friends as a Daemon!" "You say it like it's we are bad beings." "Ahh... Sorry, I didn't mean it that way, but you know what I mean, right?" "Of course I do! I am your Daemon after all. Now can you make me a bit, less dirty?" I looked at Zasha for a second. "I do not have any stones besides the dirt. Perhaps you could go find some?" The wolfing growled. "What do you mean you don't have any stones?" I set the wolfing down. "Go have a look for yourself." And with that the wolfing bolted out the door to see what had become of this world. When I stepped outside to look where he was heading he had gone. "Sigh."

For some reason, a feeling of anger washed over me, making me regret not pouncing the newcomer while I had the chance. He seemed too full of himself, claiming he would have killed me had I been a demon, and his general vibe made him seem like a know-it-all. I hate people who think they have everything figured out. Suddenly, Vevila walks outside and starts doing some incantation, eventually summoning a.. A wolfing? The damned qua started yelling at her about it, claiming that the girl was trying to prove his judgment of my heritage wrong by presenting a daemon to him. It was quite foolish and narrow minded, considering my new found friend was apparently summoning this daemon simply for the company. Apparently, the newcomer's ramblings about daemons had sparked Vevila's memory. "You know, she isn't summoning her daemon to prove you wrong. You're quite hot-headed for a qua.." I looked down at the campfire to see it was dwindling, and day hasn't come yet. "Ugh, I'm tired. I don't really care if he joins us, I just want some sleep right now. Where do I sleep again..?"
The monsters were climbing up the side. I knew I had to move, and more monsters were coming, these ones already at my level.
"Wh... What am I supposed to do?!" I said with desperation in my voice.
Then it struck me. Trees, I was always good at climbing them!
"Let's see if I remember how to do this...." I grunted as I tried to get a hold on some branches. Folding back my wings as I brushed past twigs and branches, gathering scratches and cuts on the way up.
"I did it!" I sighed as I got the top and created a soft bed with the soft leaves. But then I realised that even the soft leaves and twigs were stinging my back.
"Hmmm... I think I might be able to manage one last spell for the day." I said as I unstrapped my staff from my side.
"*Accelerated Healing*"
With my various ailments healing, and the amount of magic I had used that day, I realised it was time for sleep.
"It's not exactly a king sized bed with a silk blanket, but I guess it'll do..." I yawned, unaware of the monsters gathering at the bottom of the tree.
The monsters that were slowing making their way up.
Zeke stood inside the hut, half of his face peeking out of the door. Did he just see and hear what he thought he just saw and heard? A Daemon, a Blitz, and am assassin were going to live with us? IN TWO HUTS? Zeke stumbled backwards. He was becoming dizzy. This is not happening. Three of his worst nightmares were going to live with him. Zeke bent down and grabbed his stone sword, tying it to his belt. He grabbed some items out of his chest and put them in his satchel. He looked back at Vevila that was standing outside. He would miss her, but he couldn't stay here. Zeke made a sad smile as he climbed out of the back window. Hopefully he could fend off any monsters until daytime. Maybe he'd even find someone else to help him. It was that or death.

Incredible... it seems nobody understands why daemons unsettle me... but they are right. I am being foolish, no help at all.
The elf walked backed into the hut. I wonder if she noticed the human leaving? I'm sure she did, what with all of her training she must have.
My doppelgangers had been long gone, and the Blitz just lesson-ed me about how I was hot headed. If he had understood what I had been through then I hope he would have rethought his tasteless words. He was asleep now, and the elf was in the hut with her Daemon. I got up and began to head off towards the woods. I would find them some food as an apology. Maybe I would explain my actions when I got back as well.
For now I needed to find water to clear my head. Also a deer for the rest. It's true, I wasn't feeling hungry but I needed something to drink at the very least.
I didnt leave a note. I dont think they would have cared if I left.
Zeke was lost. He stumbled across roots and leaves as he continued forward. "Why didn't I bring a torch?" Zeke thought to himself. Suddenly, a rustling in the leaves stopped Zeke in his tracks. "H-hello?" Zeke called out. Maybe it was the Blitz and Vevila? Zeke stepped closer, hoping to get a better look.
Ssssss.
A large explosion rung through the forest as a cloud of dust appeared. Zeke was sure that he had died. He opened his scrunched eyes to see that he was... flying? No, he looked up to see that he was being carried by Brokcrest. "Nasty little buggers aren't they? I call 'em creepers. Luckily for you, I just happened to be around." Brokcrest smiled to Zeke. "You again? What were you doing here?" Zeke asked, dumbfounded.
"Oh you know. Doing some experiments. Wanna help?"

I started off by following the human. Night was well in and shadows gave me a good place to hide. Frankly i was plain annoyed with this lot. Maybe the human would make more sense than the others. If he didn't? well whatever then i would search for other survivors on my own.
I was well into the forest when i heard somthing running behind me. Instantly I said "Dopple" as i turned, i recognized the sound of the creature comming up after me. It was the daemon.
"The elf... no, it would be too much of a coincidence if she set it loose on me. No matter I was through with this group and frankly through with the uptight elf and the lovesick blitz. Besides, I had my own personal score to settle. Non of which was the business of the elf at all.
It came closer and closer. then fell into my trap. As it rushed forward two doppelgangers dived and blocked its path while a third picked it up from behind and Pinned it to the floor, blocking its mouth as well.
I knelt down and re confirmed my analysis... This most certainly wasnt a daemon. That elf obviously didnt know what she was talking about. For one thing it didnt have horns. An instinct born pride of all daemons. Along with that it was friendly and gentle. Since daemons are naturally-bred with the gene of evil and the instinct to be rough,no exeptions. There was no way that this could be a daemon. Finally would be the fact that daemons couldnt be summoned in that manner. Only a daemon can summon another daemon. But its not as simple as it may seem. Both parties must agree and you can only open a "net portal" meaning only words could be exchanged through it. So technically it wouldnt even be summoning, a simple matter of communication. Coincidently it's dark magic so there is no way the elf could have performed it. O
bviously the elf had no clue what she was talking about, and if this wolfing "zasha" had told her that she was a daemon then she was lied to. Its not a matter of raising them young to be good, they're genes take over naturally. I should know... i had tried in the past and failed. Even back then i knew i couldnt fight back without understanding them both instinct-wise and genetic-wise.
The blitz.. obviously wasnt a daemon. it was easy to figure that out, he had no qualities of one. The "daemon guise" proved my thoughts right, he was a Blitz. Up until then i had not known or seen one, other than hearing boring stories about them. I had assumed that he was a human with deformities at first.
I put all thoughts aside of them. I wouldnt need to return to them. I pulled the wolfing from under the 3rd doppelganger, holding it by the neck and pulled out my switchblade. Unfortunately, this definatly wasnt a proud moment, but it was time to get back to buisness. No need to monkey around with this lot. And with a quick move the wolfing's jugular was hanging open, spilling out the usual red blood. Quite work as always, and far enough away that nobody would find out until later search.
As i was walked away an explosion lit up in the distance. While at the same time i saw a creature run off to the right. Knowing that danger was near i ran after the creature. I had picked up its heavy breathing and pace.
It was joining its group.
For a hunt.

I felt a pain in a deep part of my existence. I walked outside and the pain became stronger. "Zasha what have you done this time?" I walked towards where I felt the pain become stronger. I finally become a dead wolfing, juggler cut open. "Sigh. Zasha show me" I touched the now dead Zasha and memories from the past couple of minutes showed that the mysterious being that showed up had done this. "Zasha, awake from your slumber." Instantly the wolfing had been revived. "Tis' be a good thing that this man is gone, Mmm?" "I agree Zasha, I agree." "Also I caught a whiff of your human friend earlier, when I was still living. Let me see if I can get it again." "Zeke..."

(( -.- yeah that's DEFIANTLY not overpowered. reviving something that's dead... isnt there also something about NOT having more than one character? As I recall it was one if the first rules.))
I followed the creature as it ran past. Further on into the woods I heard more creatures up ahead and continued to pursue them. Eventually I came across a tree surrounded by the creatures. The one I had been following joined the group at the bottom in trying to climb up the tree, but to no avail. The just kept falling down. But why? There must be something, or someone at the top of that tree. Maybe it was the human I'd met earlier. Regardless I decided to see what I could do to rescue them.
"DROWZ" I said, creating three small orbs, about the size of the leather balls that kids would throw in the fields
I rolled them under the legs of the creatures, watching as the usual pink-tainted smoke rose up and put them to sleep.
I pulled up my neckerchief around my mouth and ran ran to the tree. Not waiting long enough to find out what those creatures were i proceeded to make my way up the tree. At first i didn't see anything, so i began to make my way around the branches until finally, i saw...
A MAN! ANOTHER SURVIVOR! This is wonderful!
By the looks of it he was a magician. He was asleep, so i proceeded to tap him on the shoulder in an attempt to wake him up, we didn't have much time before the sleeping-gas would wear off of the creatures, if we didn't leave by that time, then we might have to fight our way out...
with head throbbing and ears ringing I slowly came back to my senses. instantly, three questions came to mind; what happened?, where am I? and where is everybody?
with my hands covering my eyes from dust, I clumsily stumbled out of the crater I had appeared in. hello!? I shouted in plain English, waiting for a reply, I ventured out of the crater and spotted a little glow in the distance, without thinking I ran towards it in the hope of help or company.
(( I just need to clear some things up here.
First, I am terrible at taking over other people's characters, and probably won't do much with Vevila.
Second, @Shawarma, My bad then. XP
Third, @Dr_Tyranno, just a bit of constructive criticism. You seem to write up run on sentences, which could easily be avoided with some punctuation. Try reading your post to yourself. See how exhausting that is? If you put a couple periods in there... Another thing I noticed is that you forget to capitalize words that begin sentences. Lastly, you don't seem to have quotes when your character speaks. And I'm assuming the three questions were thought by your character? Thoughts need to be placed in italics. In the end, with everything properly edited, your post would look like this:

9. No one can have more than one character as of NOW. I will however, because it will help the plot. Trusssst me.

Its on the first page. Also the only reason I killed it off is because it seemed way too unimaginable. 1 because she directly changed the description of a Daemon with it ( How could a small, talkative, NICE, wolfing possibly fit the description of "Rough, Evil Creatures." I dont see it fits that description (see first page) and 2. It also seemed unfair that she summoned a being available to players as a pet. Because for one thing it means that you could summon a daemon player anytime and it also added information to the daemon character that wasnt there before (ie-different size circles, stones needed, the fact that you can even summon one! It would be like me summoning an Orc and saying it's a long lost friend that I've called up. I find it makes no sense and adds an unfair advantage. hope you see what Im getting at.))
The mage still hadnt woken up yet, so I assumed he had put himself under a spell. Either that or he was just a heavy sleeper. The creatures at the bottom still hadn't made any progress and since morning was coming soon i decided to wait it out and see what happend.
((Gahnix this would be a good time to answer, justsaying.))
(( 1. It isn't a separate Character, it's a servant.
2. Because it was 'brought to life' with a incantation it can only be removed with such another incantation.
3. Lastly when you brought the Daemon thing up it still wasn't in the OP. ))
(( No, I am sure that it was considering I waited for Cobra to give me the "go ahead" before submitting my application. I waited until he added Qua, Fyre, Feil, and Daemon. And double checked with him to make sure. If your talking about something else then clarify because I'm not understanding what you mean.
Also you never mentioned being able to summon a servant, much less that you had one, considering no other character does. Consequently, by far i see no difference with a "servant" and another character considering it still has conversations with you, informs you about things you don't know and can find people for you.
Along with that, you never mentioned having an incantation to bring creatures back to life or creating a servant if that's what you meant. (It wasn't in your application). I could give less of a crap if it was just something you summoned for a short time to help you with a task, but a lasting servant that cant die seems a little sketchy.
The sound of falling to the ground woke me up. I tilted my head slightly to see a strange.... person. It was still gloomy out, so I could only figure out the outline. EIther way, I decided to play it safe.
After faking sleep for a while longer, the figure stayed. I figured he was friendly, after seeing the seemingly dead monsters at the bottom, and, I figured he was human.
"Are you.... friend or foe?" I said with the most basic English I could muster. I didn't want to give him the impression I was smart enough to be a threat.
I began to memorize every feature of this blitz. It seems that he was a blend between an animal and a human.
Zasha what have you done this time?" I walked towards where I felt the pain become stronger. I finally become a dead wolfing, juggler cut open. "Sigh.Zasha show me" I touched the now dead Zasha and memories from the past couple of minutes showed that the mysterious being that showed up had done this. "Zasha, awake from your slumber." Instantly the wolfing had been revived. "Tis' be a good thing that this man is gone, Mmm?" "I agree Zasha, I agree." "Also I caught a whiff of your human friend earlier, when I was still living. Let me see if I can get it again." "Zeke..."Goddamn do I hate this name z_z
"
DROWZ" I said, creating three small orbs, about the size of the leather balls that kids would throw in the fieldsI rolled them under the legs of the creatures, watching as the usual pink-tainted smoke rose up and put them to sleep.
He was asleep, so i proceeded to tap him on the shoulder in an attempt to wake him up, we didn't have much time before the sleeping-gas would wear off of the creatures, if we didn't leave by that time, then we might have to fight our way out...
with my hands covering my eyes from dust, I clumsily stumbled out of the crater I had appeared in. hello!? I shouted in plain English, waiting for a reply, I ventured out of the crater and spotted a little glow in the distance, without thinking I ran towards it in the hope of help or company.
I personally think that looks much nicer and neater. I hope that you take this as a positive experience, and follow my tips.))
Rules:

9. No one can have more than one character as of NOW. I will however, because it will help the plot. Trusssst me.
....
2. Because it was 'brought to life' with a incantation it can only be removed with such another incantation.
3. Lastly when you brought the Daemon thing up it still wasn't in the OP. ))
Goddamn do I hate this name z_z
