After a short walk Drake came back to the campfire, where he heard Ankas story. Not very interesting in Drakes eyes. "So, new guy." He said calmly and sat down at the fire. "Have you never killed anyone? Or do you even know how to fight?" He asked, leaning forward towards the fire, feeling the heat from it.
"I've killed Bandits before, so yes, I know how to fight. I'm more adapt when i'm in my beast form though." He replied as he watched the sky. If he could find some more materials, or a smithy, he could build himself a new crossbow.

Don't message me on either of these, unless you have a really good reason.
"Good. I feel better when I know that the other in the group can handle themselves." Drake said and patted Ankas on his back. "But theres a huge difference between bandits and trained soldiers. Just letting you know." He said with a smile on his face and stood up. "I'll get some rest now. Wake me up when James returns with food." Drake continued and went over to a nearby birch tree, sat down leaning on it and rested his eyes.
"Don't feel discouraged, Ankas. Drake just knows he's good at what he does." Marlin said, leaning closer to the flames "We'll watch your back out there, we owe you one anyway".
((I'm heading interstate for the next three days or so. I probably wont have access to the internet so if my input is needed, feel free to pull on Marlin's strings for me.))

"You take the first shot, I'll stay close behind you and attempt to kill it if you miscarry. I'm not an animal killer anyway, I'm better with humans" Lonadius said. He climbed down the tree and kept his crossbow aimed at the cow, it probably would't hit considering the distance but it was worth a shot.
He crouched low on the ground and tried to conceal himself behind the tall grass. He gestured for James to take point; he would stay back so as not to alert the cow. Something he knew from his job is that 'if you want to kill something quietly, do it with as few people as possible'.
James watched as Lonadius got down from the tree and slowly advanced towards the cow, presumably to get an easier shot. Well, at least he knows he can't make the shot from the tree. James thought. James didn't bother getting down from the tree at all, though. Even from this distance, James could still kill the cow.
James notched an arrow then aimed his bow. There was no wind, and a straight shot to the neck from where he was. James released his grip on the string. The arrow whizzed through the air, and planted itself firmly into the cow's neck, killing it instantly. "Too easy," James boasted with a smirk, as he climbed down the tree.
James walked over to the cow, gesturing Lonadius to help pick it up and bring it back to camp with him.

I'm always happy just 'cause there isn't a reason to be sad.
Don't take this as there is nothing that could cause sadness. I just mean it's pointless to dwell on it. I mean, depression is so boring.
((Exams coming up and projects are cramming so I probably wont be able to RP for a while. Hopefully I'll get some free time in between. Jum you can control my character for a while if you have to))
James and Lonadius enter the encampment carrying the cow between them. "Hey guys! Food!" James said, placing the cow on the ground close to the fire.

((I've returned fools! Now time to read the backlog... Hmm, not that much. Anyway!))
"Ah! What a kill!" Marlin exclaimed, he stood up, walked over to Drake and shook the assassin to wake him, "Wake up Drake, dinner's arrived". Marlin couldn't help but chuckle a bit at their good fortune "Its been a while since I've eaten fresh beef".

James went to cutting the cow up with his hunting knife, and started cooking it. ((I won't go into detail since I'll get it all wrong probably. :tongue.gif: ))
The cow started to roast on the fire. It'd take a bit for it to fully roast, so James decided to keep them occupied with some conversation. "So, any of you guys happen to know what happened to everyone else? Alyss ((Feo's)), Allan ((Hugz)), or Natalia ((Neilio's))? Am I missing someone?"

"I wouldn't have a clue" Marlin said "but I'll see their bodies before I assume they're dead". The question had irked Marlin since they escaped the ruined castle, did they perish in the fire? Were they even captured? Natalia was a being more oriented around magic than Marlin could imagine, maybe the decapitator was too much? At least the beef smells good Marlin thought.
