This will be my worst roleplay yet. The OP, at least. I hope you all will offer good roleplay to make up for the bad OP.
AWWWWW YA! BAD IMAGES WITH POOR TEXT! AAWWWWW YAH!
The year is 1499, and the Brotherhood has successfully driven off the corrupt Borgia. Through hard work and endurance they have crushed the opposition, the cruel Borgia. That was ten years ago. 1509 is here, and technology is advanced. Hand-cannons are regular for guards, as well as the brotherhood. Roma is free, ruled by the hidden Brotherhood cell. They operate from underground networks, literally. Rome is not carefully guarded however, and plague is frequent... this, however, is not the plague... it is a virus, completely debilitating the citizens and leaving them monstrosities. Some are hardened though, and only suffer from a slight cold. It soon goes away... but the others, however, hunger for flesh. Will you be a Borgia spy, the last remnants of a dead overlord? Or will you be an assassin, recruited by the Brotherhood? We will see... however, no one will emerge without bloodied hands.
General plotline;
You ever just wanted to kill zombies without being considered as a powergame? Chop off a head with easy and not be yelled at? In this roleplay, that's all you do. In this roleplay you will take control of a Borgia mercenary, or a recruit of the Brotherhood. Both are allied and operate out of a hidden underground network. You will slowly rebuild the town, first clearing the zombie and creeper infection, second setting blockades, and lastly, rebuilding Rome. I will slowly recruit citizens to the cause. So if you make an application saying you were accepted into the Brotherhood and received your robes, you will be denied. I will roleplay getting you the robes and the initiation ceremony.
Rules of the RP;
Rule 1; Proper spelling and grammar would be a plus, even if you aren't amazing at roleplay.
Rule 2; Reread and double reread the post before you, so you make no mistakes and look silly.

Rule 4; If you're not responded to IC, (in-character) you may either void the speech or, if a moderator approves, talk for them. But only if you use their personality.

Rule 6; If you've read these thoroughly, put #!# at the end of your application. Make it visible.
Rule 7; THIS RP IS MINECRAFT-RELATED. If you wish to unearth dirt, use a shovel. If you wish to speed it up, use diamond. If you wish to farm, you can use a hoe.
Rule 8; If there already is a bunch of one class, like wizards or something, and you decide to be one, I'll probably deny you, so keep it varied. There is no hard limit, though.

Rule 11; Ask a moderator for a time-change or weather-change via OOC symbols, but only if needed. You can do whatever you need to through the night. You don't need day to be able to cook.

Brotherhood. Faustus leads the Rome Brotherhood cell.
Skills;
Faustus is a natural leader. His ability to stay calm and mature under even the worst of situations is well known across the Brotherhood. Other then that, he is an exceptional swordsman. Naturally he is a sneak, he blends with the shadows. Most Brotherhood members are trained in that way.
Appearance;
Faustus wears the normal assassin's robes. Some choose to dye theirs, yet he keeps his a bland red and white. Baggy robes of white flow down his thighs and chest, covered in buckles. Around his waist is a thick strand of red cloth, with the signature assassin's symbol in a steel cast. On his left shoulder he has a leather cape that drapes to a side at all times. A hood covers his head most of the time, and his hidden blades flash out of habit.
Biography;
Short biographies are for cool people. Might make it longer when I feel like it. Haven't slept in twenty three hours so I'm not about to try on this.
Faustus is an ordinary assassin. Grew up an orphan, his family associated with the Borgia. From an early age he has despised their cruel ways... if his father did not assassinate a target in time he would be lashed. Through careful training and endurance he has become the perfect assassin. Recruited to the Brotherhood at nineteen, his skill was well known across the lands. His missions carried with ease, his blade was swift.
The man was amazing. Ezio Auditore himself has credited Faustus with control of the Roma cell by his twenty fifth birthday. For four years now Faustus has controlled the Brotherhood in his cell. Once the apocalypse hit, he was unprepared. His men? Away, in Constantinople. They were to "persuade" a Borgia sympathizer out of his ways.
He begins his conquest, finding the most talented survivors to recruit to his hidden network underneath the city, connected via tunnel.
Additional info;
Faustus is incredibly fond of wine, yet never drinks more than a glass. A treat is necessary every now and then, but to go overboard is wrong, to him.

I'm always happy just 'cause there isn't a reason to be sad.
Don't take this as there is nothing that could cause sadness. I just mean it's pointless to dwell on it. I mean, depression is so boring.
Skills:
Felicia is a skilled medic, and is efficient with most weapons. She has developed strong poisons, and has also formulated remedies for each poison. Throwing knifes and crossbows are her specialty, and she is best at stealth assassinations. She can scale even the tallest buildings, and has very keen hearing
Appearance:
Felicia's long, silky hair is blacker than a raven's wing, and contrasts sharply with her impish features. She is around average height, about 5'4", and is very nimble for her slightly heavy build. While she isn't thin, she's not fat either, weighing approximately 128 pounds. She wears a loose midnight black tunic, with dark gray woolen leggings. Supple black leather slippers adorn her feet, and are well worn with years of use. Her eyes are a bright piercing green and have a small ring of yellow around the pupil, giving her an eerie eagle-like look. ((I'll post a drawing of Felicia when I get the chance to draw her))
Biography:
Felicia was the daughter of a doctor, and learned the ways of the trade. Learning medicinal studies taught her what was toxic to the human body, and she developed her own poison by the time she was a teenager. She was also skilled with remedies, and made cures to all of her poisons.
After years of watching people die at the hands of the Borgia, she decided to rebel. When she was 15 she would seek to stop corrupt guards with her poison, and had been in many fights for justice. She would heal assassins free of charge, and would supply them with poison for a small fee. After a year of this, she was recruited by the brotherhood and became an assassin a little less than a year before the apocalypse.
Additional info: Felicia is allergic to dairy.
Want me to add anything: Nothing I can think of right now. . . Good general plot!
((I am guessing you will have an unbalance with more Brotherhood than Borgia. So, I'll make a Borgia character, even though Assassins are cooler :biggrin.gif:.
Name: Lorenzo Pinnatelli
Age: 52
Faction: Borgia, an elite Brute Guard(NO, not Halo)
Skills: Lorenzo's whole life had been serving as an elite guard for Borgia leaders. He has much experience wielding his Labrys Axe, and has maximized his possible movement his his heavy plate armor. He is greatly involved in politics, hearing in on many of his leader's meetings.
Appearance:
Lorenzo wields a Labrys Axe, and has detailed, patriotic imprinting in his armor. Underneath the thick metal, he has black, medium-length hair that falls greasily to his cheeks. His direct Spanish blood runs deeply, and is clearly visible (if you saw his face).
Biography: Lorenzo grew up in a rich family, also serving under the Borgia's. His father was an elite Brute Guard before him, and so was his grandfather before that. His young life was greatly focused on how he would preform for, and protect the Borgia Family, until it was his time to take over his father's position.
Lorenzo became an Elite Brute Guard after his father sacrificed his own life to stop an assassination attempt by throwing himself off the 150 ft cliff with the attacker into the rock slabs below. Though it was a tragedy, Lorenzo was immediatly called forth to take his place, and served Cesare Borgia until his untimely death, after he was infected by the virus and killed himself (don;t judge my historical accuracy, I had to change a little bit to go with this RP). Now, Lorenzo continues his destiny, to protect the Borgia, even though he has no family left. His wife and lone child were taken as well by the virus, and Lorenzo swears to get his revenge. He will take help from anyone he can find to take down this menace.
As a wise lady once said: "Alone wa can do so little; together, we can do so much" -Helen Keller (and yes I know this is in the future from the RP's setting, just go with it...)
Additional info: With no Borgia Leader now, he seeks his own goals of revenge upon the virus that destroyed his life.
Anything to Add: You should have The Cult of Romulus somehow involved in this #!# :biggrin.gif:.
Guys... please read the top. If you make an application that has you already accepted, you will be denied..
Anyway, you don't need to know anything about AC to roleplay this. The wiki, if you ever DO need to research something, will give you everything.
Orphan I'm sorry, but I want this to be a professional roleplay if I can. Mistakes like that aren't going to kill you off, but I'd just like to let this one stretch a loooong time without mistakes or arguments. Denied. Please retry later with a character that hasn't been accepted into the Brotherhood automatically.
Okay. Would it be fine if I pretty much re-write her biography without the assassin part? I really like the idea of a poison-making-doctor's-daughter and would be disappointed if this character went to waste. . . .
Skills; Is a shining example of the term 'silent killer.' Jerrem can kill without a sound, dropping his target and escaping just as silently. However, the use of a scythe makes him quite noticeable in a crowd, and he often if forced to kill his target in less crowded areas. Also, due to his noble upbringing, when out in his civilian clothes he is able to charm most people, engaging them in smooth conversation.
Appearance; Jerrem is a lean, Caucasian male, with jet black hair, which is kept quite short, though long enough to cast a shadow over his features. Jessem is shrouded in a pale green cloak, which billows out as he runs. His main armament is a custom crafted scythe, with a black-iron shaft and a steel blade.
Biography; Jerrem was born in the rich comfort of Borgia nobles, enjoying a house full of servants catering to his every whim. Jarrem was taught the ways of a nobleman, learning how to act, speak, and dress properly. However, Jarrem despised his life. He hated the way the servants were forced to do every task, and he loathed the fact that his parents forced him to become a nobleman. So one night, at the ripe age of fifteen, Jarrem ran away from his home, leaving behind the comfort and warmth it provided.
Jarrem was ill equipped to deal with the outside world. He did not know how to steal food, or beg for money. His upbringing did not permit it. So he wandered, searching for scraps of food amongst the trash, often sharing meals with the homeless. All this stoked the fires of his hate for the nobility, and, by extent, Borgia. It was by fate, so it seems, that Jarrem encountered a band of teenagers, who also happened to be street urchins. They took Jarrem under their wing, teaching him the best methods of finding food and coin. Like him, they despised Borgia, hating them for letting them starve.
Over time, the four teens, Jarrem included, decided to do something about their misfortune; They would kill the nobility. Stealing weapons from farmers and run-down blacksmiths, the band of soon to be killers stole away to the house of a lower class nobleman. Weapons ready, resolve in their eyes, they ambushed the man, brutally killing him and stealing his possessions. It was their first step of rebellion, and they took it gladly.
Over time, the four went their separate ways, bidding farewell to one another in pursuit of their personal goals. Each made efforts to uprise against Borgia, but it was only Jarrem who continued the tradition of killing. He honed his skills, becoming a fearful wraith spoken about only in hushed whispers. He killed silently, disappearing in to the shadows with out a sound. Finally, Borgia collapsed, and with it, Jarrem's purpose. Now, he hunts down the remainder of the Borgia nobles, hoping to permanently extinguish their legacy.
Additional info; Jarrem enjoys the symbol #!# immensely.

Skills; Very loyal, a great listener and fast learner. He can follow orders given from the higher-ups without fail. He is very smart, which is why he survived the fall of the Borgia. This makes him a great strategist. He can use a sword, but isn't very good with it.
Appearance; Your average Borgia guard, slightly confused look on his face
Biography; A newbie who was just recruited by the Borgia before the attack, Sirdi has a strong desire to be good, but messes up sometimes.
Additional info; Loves CAKE, can parkour around town
Want me to add anything;

Name; Marquies Branett [Mar.Kees]
Age;27
Borgia or Brotherhood; Brotherhood
Skills; Marquies has a strong survival skill. Traveling as a hermit for most of his life roughed him up, and prepared him for some of the most dangerous situations. His training has put him through deadly battles with street thugs and rats. Marquies definitely knows how to fend for himself.
Appearance;Brown robe with silver buttons on the torso and legs. Brown leather belt in which he carries his weapons, supplies, etc. Strapped to the belt is a variation of satchels which hold different poisons. Black chief hat with one silver button on the top right. White mask with a sharp, bird like beak.Black goggles overlap the eye holes on the mask. A black leather attachment to Marquies's robe runs from his torso to the bottom of his neck. It has silver buttons all the way around. Marquies wears black leather gloves that are held on by zippers. Marqueis carries his common sword most of the time in his hand, if he is not carrying it, it is in a sheath strapped on to his belt. Marquies wears brown, dirty boots.
Biography;Marquies was born abandoned in the vast city of Vatican. He had no friends, or family that he knew of. Marquies grew up in a raggedy orphanage. The family that owned the orphanage were good to Marquies. They took to him to a school in which he could express himself and his talent with the arts. Citizens flocked to hear the sound of his soothing violin.
This wasn't the path that Marquies wanted to pursue, he was always interested in weapons and strange concoctions. Marquies excelled in school, Marquies had a path set for him that would take him all the way to college. Marquies spent his afternoons practicing different moves with his simple wooden sword. Little did he know, he was being scouted. One day after school a man in a strange bird-like suit walked up to him. Offering training, in Rome not far from Vatican. The man told Marquies about his scouting and how amazed he was by his skill with a sword. Marquies lighted up and gladly accepted, and off to Rome he went.
Marquies was given various tasks, such as killing criminals, street rats, or thugs. The hard part was doing this silently. Marquies was given a common sword to perform his training. The tasks were too easy, and Marquies would easily shed the blood of his enemies without a cinch. His instructor, delighted to see Marquies's progress gave him his outfit. Equipped with satchel, and poisons. Then all hell broke loose when news of the plague spread. People were turning.People like Marquies's instructor. He became...mutated. A strange form of zombie. Marquies did the only thing logical, and swiftly sliced his instructor's head off. Traveling Rome, looking for other survivors, Marquies must survive. Or die.

Name; Serenity Hermadici
Age; 37
Borgia or Brotherhood; Borgia
Skills; Serenity is excellent with or words, being able to talk her way out of a situation, or if need be, in to one. She is a master of seduction, luring many men into her trap.
Appearance; A low cut dress that barely covers her boobs, and comes down to half-way from her hip and mid-thigh. She has brown hair that elegantly flows to the small of her back, but she prefers to have it in a bun. She has misty green eyes, that peirce through many mens hearts. Serenity always has her lips pursed and shows no emotion. She is short and slender, which makes her job a lot easier. she wears tight panty hose and uses her fan to lure in customers.
Biography; Serenity grew up in a wealthy area of Rome. Her parents despised the Borgia and their evil ways. Her mom and dad made her sit in their library for 3 hours a day and study. She learned many things from books. She learned about the creation of men, architectures of rome, and about the pope. But all of these things were mere lessons compared to one thing she learned of. A group of assassins, a deadly group who used stealth to kill their targets. She was so intrigued by this that she would spend countless nights reading up on them. She learned that they called themselves the Brotherhood. She learned of some of the many intriguing weapons they used, such as the hidden blade. She also learned that they could be spotted, but would dissapear within seconds. One night while she was studying, she hearded screams. Screams from her parents. She ran from the library and into their bedroom. Their was a flash of black leaping out of a window. She ignored this, thinking it was only the curtains. Her parents lay their, bleeding, side by side.
Their was no funeral for her parents, for she could not afford one. She was forced to run the streets, living off what she could scavenge. A man in crimson red spotted her one day. He took her into his carriage and asked her, "How did such a pretty young lady like you end up on these horrible streets?" Simply she replied, "My parents were killed, by who I do not know." "So you are alone then? A girl your age should not be roaming these streets alone, come with me." She was thirteen at the time when this happened.
She grew up with the Borgia, learning to love the people her parents hated. Whenever she turned 17 they sent her to work at the Firenze de Fiore, and earn payment for them. She quickly became popular, seeing as she was one of the most beautiful women in Rome. She used all her tricks to get someone to pay extra. During one session, she was violently attacked. She recieved many bruises, a broken nose, and a gash across her forhead. The Borgia ordered this man killed for putting one of their greatest out of duty. When she started up again, she was given a fan by Cesare Borgia himself. This was no ordinary fan though. This fan had a steel bladed edge, crafted by Rome's finest blacksmith. During he time at the Fiore she had to use the blade 13 times, and to her, that was 13 to many. She was trusted by all the prostitutes at the Fiore and was quickly made their leader. Through her time at the Fiore she earned the Borgia a good sum of their money.
Additional info; She is known as the Venus Flytrap(for explanation look at skills) She loves to used her bladed fan, and will kill for a chance to sharpen it on her preys skin.
Want me to add anything; It might help to add the sections of the city, like the Antico district? sort of like a map. That way you could assign the assasins to oversee sections of the city?
You may come back and re-do your biography, yes, AZilla.
Cyan, you are accepted. Sirdi, you probably have never roleplayed before. You need to make it a lot longer.
Cold, you are also accepted, even though it seems you've never played Brotherhood.
69 as well.
Just letting you all know, there's no Borgia leader. Any Borgia left are just remnants of a dead oppressor. Spies, really.
I played the first AC and Brotherhood, loved it! Not having any leader makes it a lot more challenging on us, and I wouldn't have it any other way :smile.gif:

Borgia or Brotherhood; Brotherhood

#!# (P.S. told you i'd apply xD)
