((Since you want me to join, PieWizard, I guess I'll give this a shot.
Name:(Heck, I'll use the same name, to prevent me from mixing names up.) Lance Blackwell
Age: 28
Race: Human (Cyborg)
Personality: A bit of an eccentric personality, he is a bit hyperactive. ((Hm. If you have watched the A-Team (The newer one), the person who'd fit this would be the pilot. You know, the one who is a bit.... weird in the head.)) Although his common sense and instincts are quite intact, he has absolutely no sense of seriousness. Meaning, everything is like just one big game to him. He's very open, to those who don't try to avoid him. Although they might have trouble in understanding him.
Skills: Mainly skilled in mechanics, Lance also knows how to use the gadgets and whatnot he creates in combat. (Meaning, he can fight, using the things he makes, but he doesn't really know much hand-to-hand. Get what I'm trying to say? Like, he can only fight with things he creates.)
Bio: A test subject for a nanotechnology lab, Lance was taken in from the streets when he was a boy. Undergoing state-of-the-art technology, a series of experiments and test, as well as operations were performed on him over a series of five years. Miraculously, most of his "changes" were a success. However, an operation gone wrong caused some kind of damage to his head, accounting for his weird personality. And soon after, just before the final operation was to be done on him, the apocalyptic events forced the lab to abort all tests, and transfer all subjects to the facility he currently resides in.
Appearance: Unlike the normal stereotype one would think of when the word "cyborg" comes up, Lance looks quite like a normal person. The difference is, he has major internal changes, which ultimately affect his external being. A large amount of nanobots flow through his blood, mingling with the cells of his body, able to access every deep confine of his insides. These nanobots serve as a boosted immune system and heightened nervous system boost (Meaning, he has the capabilities to resist many poisons and diseases, as well as making incredibly fast calculation, and whatnot.) They also provide physical support of his body, absorbing any shock directed at his body (Like, he is able to resist high-impact situations (i.e.: A car running into him). Each individual nanobot serves as a computer that can connect to his central nervous system (the brain), ultimately boosting his mental capacities beyond a normal human. The most noticeable difference is the fact that he can "shape-shift." Although it is far from that. His body does not change shape, and retains its own, normal structure. The nanobots, however, can diffuse through his dermis, through the epidermis, and lock in together, to create any "shape" he desires (Basically, the nanobots can go through his skin, to come in contact with the outside world. By latching onto his skin, and receiving signals from his brain, they can create any form he wants them to- whether it be an extra arm, or a screwdriver.)
Lance has a prominent nose, and grey eyes. His face smoothly curves down to his chin, a sharp contrast from those around him. Unlike the chiseled, hard faces, his face is rounded and smooth. His height is also not that impressive, standing at only 5' 10". His body build is quite thin, and although his shoulders stand straight, they aren't that broad.
Equipment: The clothes on his back, and a little backpack he carries all the little scraps he may need on the fly.
((Accepted, amazing bio. I like how you did that nano-bot thing,it was awesome.))
Jonah waited a minuted after he sent the message to Scott. He knew he would come. He then pressed the red button again, and it went into the normal boot-up sequence. He then typed a new name "Lance Blackwell". The screen went back into the panel and a buzzer went off. "Hello,Lance, meet me at my room in five minutes." Jonah then turned off the intercom and sat down on his couch. I guess I'll just wait he thought to himself.
((Wait. So is this compound like isolated from the rest of the world?))
Lance opened his eyes. an urgent buzzing filled his square room, followed by a voice. "Hrmm. 5 minutes? What if I came in 4..." Lance thought mischievously. He put on a grey overcoat, and slid his door open. He started to walk down the lit corridor.
** The fact you are all trained in some sort of martial arts or fighting technique amazes me, the world is not simply one giant training ground for killers. Why not be a cook, or a kid that was graduating college, or a lady's man teenager, or even a kid. Seriously, even though i'm a random guy who won't be applying because of this, I'd do something to spice up RP. Not everyone can dropkick a guy and bam he's dead, half the world's population can't even attempt a dropkick. Hell, make a fat guy! Who cares if you die halfway through, atleast you were in it! Hot damn, people. Learn how to roleplay seriously before you start a roleplay. *
Edit: In my srsfaceangry.jpg I made several mistakes in spelling. Sad.
((What? That made no sense. Obviously you have no knowledge of what an RP is. Are you really saying that to AYFTracks? Did you see how many posts his RP has? Get your facts straight before you start accusing people. By the way I am a cook.))

** You have no sense of what RP is if that made no sense. EVERYONE here has some combat background. Sure, if the moderator(s) of this thread want it, alright. Does it matter how many posts his RP has? It doesn't, that's not a good bargaining tool, sir. And I'm quite sure everything is in order, it's just silly most of you have a history of being able to kill mercilessly. I'm glad you're a cook, atleast you may lighten RP from this KICK STAB SHOOT KARATE CHOP! roleplay which I assume will be happening if most people are intent on having a biography full of weapons and death. Don't take it i'm making wrong all over you, i'm just saying it's completely silly to have an RP where most everyone knows how to deal death. *
((That is only because this RP is focused around that area. All RPs aren't about everyday life, you know. This just so happens to be one of those which combat experience is needed. I mean, isn't this RP focused in a compound where potentially dangerous people are detained during apocalyptic times?))

** Potentially dangerous, which means they can also be mentally deranged, does not mean they MUST have a super strength. I understand this RP is different, but after reading some of this, it's a bit weird for me. I understand it's a detention center for individuals who could be trouble, which doesn't mean they can destroy everything. Mental deficiencies, psycho, mutated, the likes. *
((First of all,use the rules idiot. ((OOC)) is how you talk. Next, have you read any of Tracks RP's? Half the thing is NOT fighting. It is MAINLY storyline. Now,I ask you to leave now. It is not about that at all! It is about a apocalypse and a place where people stay to be safe. You don't know anything. Get out of my Role-Play.))

Please don't do this, I'm suggesting something. But I'll take my leave. *

** Good. You seem to be a well-respected "overlord" of this subforum, and not out of fear or anything of it, but you were not meant to be addressed by this. Just a few others. *

Was going to see if I could possibly join after this ordeal, made a fool of myself. Wanted to "track" Track, and the rest of you guys. You and Track seem alright. That orc avatar guy, too. If I could still apply, that is.
(( Well, Piewizard's character is a leader of some knd of rebel group withn the bunker, so it would make sense for him to recruit only people who are capable of fighting, mechanics, ect. That's not to say normal people won't join, but that's wa good explanation as to why everyone is good with combat. Not to mention the RP takes place in a very different world, one where people have to fight for their lives. I do agree with what you're saying, but it really was unnecesary for you to come in here and call everyone out on it. ))

I realized this. Although it's not necessary for EVERYONE to be military-sided. People can be deranged and dangerous and mentally unstable but still focus on reading or writing or other simple tasks? Not fighting. But I acknowledge that fighting plays a good part in this.
I got off the couched and pressed the red button again. The buzzer went off and I said,"John, meet me at my room in five with everyone else.
((Tracks, you can control the meeting. I gotta go. Just talk with everyone about our plan to escape the bunker. The plan is basically to kill the watcher and get out of the bunker and get into the tunnel. Just be creative with it and do awesome. I know you will be.))
((Err... sorry to disappoint you, PieWizard, but I have to go as well. I have lacrosse practice soon. Hand it off to Hug? He seems to enjoy doing these kinds of things.))
