"Guess we should head inside then, huh?" He stood in front of the building and looked up at it in awe. "Wow, quite a building for an information bureau. Man, the academy must be mega rich, huh..?"

Non look at the library some more before facing Maverick and speak "Hmm.. if i'm the first one here then some other students might be making their way here as we speak, right? since it was an average of 80%" he turn to face the main entrance as he wonder whether the survival rate will stayed at 80%.

As his eyes wander around while he attempt to kill some time in order to wait for the others, he spotted the cloaked girl from before. "I got to go see someone, i'll be back in bit" he does a slight bow swiftly and walk over to the girl. "Hey there, thanks for guiding me here earlier" he greet the girl and offer her his gratitude for helping him. "I thought you got your performances on your queue, are you here for something?" he ask he a question curious of her change in action but before she could reply, a thought reach him "oh wait, are you looking for this by any chance?" he took out the ruby ring he found before and show it to her "I found it at the place we met, figured that it might be you who dropped it".

"Hmm?" Emmett swings around and spots perhaps another student who plans on attending the academy. Emmett kept his hands firmly in his pocket and smirked cheerfully. "Dunno, neither of us have actually entered yet, but if you mean did we get invited, then..." Emmett pulls his hands out of his pockets and pats down his shirt pockets, then his jacket pockets, then his entire body and finally his suitcase, before pulling out a piece of paper after a large hang of silence. He then held it out triumphantly and grinned, as if he didn't take a ton of time to get the letter. "-Yes, yes we did!"

You enter the city with looks gazed at you of confusion. You see people in the town of strange races, such as lizardfolk and birdfolk, but none of such a monstrous appearance.

"ah you're welcome.." Non reply as he look at the girl walking away after he handed her the ruby ring. "Well.. she did say thank you..." Non speaks to himself not knowing why the girl was in such a hurry. He put his hand in his pocket and walk back to Maverick, "has anyone arrived?" he ask Maverick looking around the area for other students.
She took a look around the city. "Damn. Impressive stuff." She muttered to herself.
A lot of thoughts ran through her head, but the most prominent one was sustenance. All this traveling hadn't left much time for eating or drinking, and…yeah, she was paying the price for it now.
A vibration began to come from her purse, and with an eyeroll, Sapphire pulled out her phone, answering the call. "Hey, Mom."
"Did you get there okay, sweetie?" Her mom asked.
"'Course I did. I texted you three hours ago."
"Well, I was worried." She reasoned. "You're halfway across the country learning magic; don't I have a right to be concerned about my daughter?"
"Mom, I haven't learned anything yet." Sapphire scoffed. "I just got here. The acadamy's not even open yet."
"Well, then why didn't you stay home a bit longer?"
"You don't need to constantly worry about me, you know." She said. "I'm sixteen years old, and for the love of God, I have magical powers. I can take care of myself."
"I know, honey." She sighed. "Parents never stop worrying about their kids. It's our job."
"Heh, I've figured that out by now. I'll call you if anything goes badly, okay?"
"Alright, Sapphire. Your dad's at work, but he said to pass on his love."
"Tell him I love you both."
"I love you too. Stay safe."
"I will. Bye."
"Bye."
The line went silent, and Sapphire put her phone away. God, her parents were great, but could she go four hours without having to contact them?
"Okay. Sustenance. Now." With that goal in mind, Sapphire went off in search of someplace she could get food.

Maverick watched the girl walk away with curious eyes. He then looked to Non. "Well no one else has arrived..." He looks to the door as a man smoking a cigarette walks in. He wears a camo-green colored pants and a tight fit black t-shirt. But his arm is... Mechanical. Very mechanical.
The man approaches Maverick. He speaks with a watered down Russian accent from years of speaking other languages and living around other accents. "Maverick."
Maverick looks at the man in disgust. "Jax."
Aranea
Aranea enters a store. The clerk is a satyr. He looks frightened when Aranea walks in. He swallows a breath and smiles. "Welcome to my store. How may I be of assistance?"
Sapphire
Sapphire wanders for a bit and reaches a small restaurant with no one eating there right now. When she enters, the door makes a ring to notify there is a customer. An old man walks from the back room, which looks like a store is on the other side of, and nods to the girl. He speaks to the girl in a language that is unknown to her.
Sapphire raised an eyebrow. "I'm sorry, I don't understand." She said. "On second thought, you probably don't understand me…f**k, this is hopeless." After a brief moment, she decided on what the simplest thing to say was. "English?"

The man shook his head to Sapphire and began to speak in the language. A voice shouted from the back in the same language. Then, Edrid emerged from a side room. He looked the girl up and down. "Great, another child. I must be a sundial for these things." He began to walk towards Sapphire, his spider legs creeping along the floor. "Sorry about that, my colleague, Mr. Edgar, only speaks in the language of The Dragon, a tongue most speak in the town. I am Edrid, owner of this restaurant." He gave a somewhat terrifying smile.
((He does have a suit jacket and undershirt on))
Aranea
The clerk chuckled. "Well, to the north, near the school building is a massive information bureau. They should be able to help there." He seemed to answer all shaky.
When a man who looked to be mostly spider walked out of a side room and explained the situation, Sapphire decided it would be a good idea to ignore her aversion to arachnids for the time being.
"Um…hey." Sapphire raised one hand in a tentative wave. "Thanks for the clarification. Nice to meet you…and what do you mean, another child?"

Edrid sighed. "Yes, another new student was in here earlier. I directed him to the information bureau up north by the school. That is where you can find more about the school you will be attending. My colleague Maverick is there, hopefully meeting with the other child. He can help you out."

Jax angrily looks at Maverick. "You know I won last time."
The two begin to walk outside, Jax removing his shirt and Maverick taking off his jacket, showing his black t-shirt underneath.
"Mom, we're gonna be late for the school opening!" Finn yelled as he hurriedly picked up his suitcases off the Hotel floor and ran towards his mom's room through the door between their conjoined rooms.
"Relax honey, we'll get there before it opens, don't worry. Did you remember to pack the clothes you were wearing to bed last night?" Finn stopped and slapped a hand on his forehead, unintentionally spreading some frost across it.
"I knew I forgot something!" He hurriedly threw the clothes into his suitcase, and carried it back to set next to his other one as well as his moms. He started listing off the stuff laid out on the bed in front of him. "Okay, there's my suitcases, my backpack is still in the car, my wallet's in my pocket, I have my candy, my Gameboy, my- MY KNIFE!" He had forgotten completely about it! It was in his pocket yesterday! He raced back into his room and looked frantically around the floor for it, scooting under the bed and behind the dresser in the room, leaving behind some trails of ice in his panic.
"Do you mean this?" His mother was leaning on the door-frame holding the said-sharp-object.
"My knife! Thanks mom!" He quickly grabbed it and put it hurriedly in his side-pocket sheath for it while his mother looked on slightly amused.
"Let's get going you little scallywag. We're going to be late if you keep forgetting stuff!" Finn's mom picked up the suitcases and started heading towards the door.
"Hey! I said we were gonna be late!" He hurried after his mom, shutting the door behind him.
*Some indeterminent time later*
It was late afternoon by the time they drove into the town, and they noticed immediately how, well, SMALL it was.
"Well, the letter wasn't exaggerating when it said the way there was in a small town..." Finn absentmindedly kept making and melting a block of ice in his hand.
"Let's head over to that group of people over there. Maybe they know where the academy is." His mom drove them over into a nearby parking lot and they got out and walked over to a group of people who appeared to be waiting for something. His mom walked up to one of them who looked particularly weary today. "Excuse me, would you happen to know where the 'Eidikos academy' is?" That made him perk up immediately.
"Uh, I think I might know of somewhere like that. But there was something else in the title I think. I can't remember... Was there anything else about this 'Eidikos Academy' you know?" He looked pointedly at his mom, and she immediately understood what he was saying. Password, please. Finn's mom quickly bent closer and said the code phrase quietly. "Ah, now I remember! Welcome! I'll lead the way in fact."
"Great! So, where's this 'Eidikos Academy' you'll be taking us too?"
"Ah, I'm afraid only students can go there. I'll only be taking him with me." The man gestured at Finn, white hair and all. "If you're going to say goodbyes to each other, now's the time." Finn looked owlishly at him and his mom.
"WHAT?! C'mon, can't my mom at least go with me to see this supposed 'school' I'll be going to! This is so unfair!"
"Sorry, kid, I don't make the rules, I just follow them. Only you get to go. Your mom isn't a student, now is she?"
As Finn was about to make some possibly rude and offending remarks to the man, his mom put a hand on his shoulder. "Finn, please go with this man."
"WHAT?! But mom-"
"I know you want me to be there with you, but don't worry, it'll be okay. Besides, you're a Nix. Nix's are tough. I was going to be leaving anyway once you were settled in. This just means I'll be going sooner. Take care of yourself champ." His mom kissed him on the cheeck with slight tears in her eyes.
"I'll- I'll stay tough mom. Bye." He hugged her one last time before turning back to the man who was now standing up.
"Yeah, yeah, you'll both miss each other. Look, I've got a schedule to keep, okay? Now, let's get moving." He started walking over to a bus while Finn ran over back to his car and hurriedly got out his two suitcases before running back towards the bus, and getting in it just as the engine started up. As he sat down, it started moving and he looked out to see his mom standing there waving at him.
"Bye mom..." He whispered as he waved back at her. He sat back and waited a bit, before pulling out his Gameboy and using a convenient game of old-timey Mario to pass the time and help him ignore the emotions inside of him.
*Another indeterminant time later*
After the man in the bus had dropped him off with a guide, they walked up the mountain-side, getting to the city some hour or so later.
The city... It was like nothing he had ever seen. There were mythical creatures everywhere, and he thought he saw a black dragon flying around somewhere. He grinned as he looked out over the city, thinking of all the things he could do in a place like this. Time to be even more awesome than I already am! He started heading into the city, walking down one of the streets.
((Sorry if it's wordy... ^^; At least it's a semi-good read, eh?))
North. Okay, she could go north. "Thanks for the help." Sapphire said with a nod. "Guess that's my next stop." She turned around, heading back outside and, after a moment to figure out which way was north, going in that direction. It occurred to her now that she actually hadn't actually gotten any sustenance. Eh, food can go die in a hole. When it came down to it information was a lot more important.

Finn
Finn walks down the main street, seeing the main rush of a normal day. The carts of deliveries going to restaurants and shops pass by. People leading mysterious alien cattle pass others leading normal cattle. The academy can be seen in the distance with a massive library looking building next to it.
As Finn is walking, people can be heard shouting from an alleyway, then some explosions go off in a colorful burst. From out of the alleyway after the crowd flees, an average looking man with a beard runs from the explosions, growing long spines from his body and throwing them at surrounding guards. Another man runs out of the alleyway covered in strange tattoos. He seems to light up different sections of his markings to throw different magics at the guards. When the guards around are incapacitated, a huge shark humanoid emerges from the alleyway along with a terrifying gargoyle. Thew shark is wearing a helmet special made for him and picked up two swords from the guards, which was overkill from his natural weaponry on his extra arms. The gargoyle seemed to inflict terror just from his presence. He cackled at the incapacitated guards.

The man grinned at the beautiful silk also confused by the face it was made right in front of him. As he was about to take it, an explosion could be felt from behind the store. The man sighed. He went to the front of the store and put a closed sign up. "This is what I get for putting my store near a guard outpost." He went over to the wall and pulled what looked like a shotgun off of the wall. "Listen up, spider lady. You need to get out there and help. You seemed to turn away the presence of the monster that you are. So get out there and stop the bad guys, so you aren't seen as one."
Sapphire flinched at the sight. "Okay, maybe I shouldn't go over there…or maybe I should…f**k it, I'm here to go to a school for magical powers. Time to take risks." She cautiously began to make her way over to the commotion.

Whatever I just said, I meant no offense. I swear. At least, I probably didn't.

Sapphire
Sapphire began to head up north. She made it to the main road, where a commotion could be seen going on. A rainbow colored explosion could be seen from a way down the road as people ran the other way and guards began to head over to the explosion.
Aranea
