Kira woke up to the same thing once more. Her dead tree hideout, the world decaying around her. As she woke, she noticed movement out of the corner of her eye. With amazing agility and speed, Kira is upon the sorce of the movement within seconds. She is shocked as to what is before her. A young human maybe in his teens wandering about. He will not last... But he has no life left in him! Kira thought taking a close look at the boy, Kira noticed he was in fact nearly dead. Haveing an abundance of cuts and bleeding all over, desidedly suffering. Kira, thought for a few minutes. She decided that she would have to wait a few minutes before he would be gone, but if he died on the way she would give him a final resting place. The boy did in fact die. Less then a minute later, Kira was diging a grave for the boy. In no way did she like this, but it was the right thing to do. Cruel world. Taking such a young soul. May he rest in peace. Kira said a silent prayer for the boy before filling in the grave. Once done, she grabbed a small stone to place a top the grave as a head stone. She said one more silent prayer before scaling the tree once more. As she sat in her hide out, she wondered if any other humans were left in a good condition. She wanted more than anything else to have a conversation like she used to. As she still had an MP3 Player, she plugged in her headphones and listened to "clarity". She started unknowingly singing the song aloud in a beautiful voice.
Darth, they're all pretty much the same. Tripods, martians, and red vine. I believe that's in every adaption. Which martian type is there? Original?

Their Fighting Machines aren't. They're way different.
The novel's fighting machines remind me of toys, Jeff Wayne's Fighting Machines look cool, and the Movie's Fighting Machines have a significantly different weapon. I mean, the book and musical both state that the Fighting Machines have a HEAT RAY that sets things ablaze, while the movie has the weapon only dissolve creatures...

OOC: Sorry, I haven't read the novel or watched any of the films in a while. In fact, I don't think I have watched the films. Are they any good, and do they stick to the novel?
Well I'm going off the book though I'm not direct copying it. Also Darth the fighting machine in this one would be the one frI'm the novel as well.sorry if my posts keep rapidly changing. My cousin got my phone.

OOC: Book & Musical >>>>>>>>>> Movie
The movie takes place in the States, whereas the Book takes place in the UK. Totally different time period too.
The main reason I watched the movie is because it was based on the book, but it pretty much only used ideas from the book, and had a totally different plot and such.

Yeah I would think so. You would be mostly undercover but you would get secrets for the enemy.

Which War of the Worlds? The Original Novel? Jeff Wayne's Musical Adaption? Or the movie?
