City: Allvanah
"DELLPHINX!!" The Wallsman cupped his hands around his mouth, yelling to the Gateguard below. "Raise the gates!" The Gateguard kicked a lever which toppled a gear, tuning forks around the southern wall began to resonate, quickly followed by the other four walls' resonate spires' echoing response. A makeshift engine at this end was flipped on and glass-like spikes began to raise from somewhere within the scrappy walls that surrounded the city. The southern wall only had two men as opposed to three, usually there was a second wallsman prowling the catwalks but since the southern wall was backed up against the crystal field, it was less likely to be the object of attack.
"By gods, what is a Dellphinx doing in the crystal fields." The Wallsman looked out into the colourful field that looked almost like a farm acre. The crystals gave off a faint hum as they were disrupted, the clusters were known to repel smaller creatures and keep the bigger ones at bay for longer. This is why they were cultivated and woven into as many structures and objects as people would allow, many Allvanians wore crystals decoratively as a symbol of luck. "Perhaps it is lost?" the Gateguard was almost at the top of the rope ladder that led up to the catwalks and was now manning an artillery device that was set into an alcove above the entry gate where it was impossible for crystal walls to rise from.
The city of Allvanah was settled by some of the first many years ago, it was discovered that the monsters disliked the sounds of the crystals that grew there, a great defensive wall was built from stone in the shape of a pentagon, two walls actually, and between them the mechanisms to raise 'the gate' a defensive wall of echoing crystals that defended the city from most ground-based attacks. The 'City' as it were, was much more suited to be called a town, but in this universe, getting 50 people together in one place was quite the feat. Allvanah was built to house thrice that, but again, finding occupants is quite the task, keeping them an even more difficult accomplishment.
"It's charging straight for us!" The Gateguard's artillery device quickly rotated up and down, trying to fix on the creature's location. "I'm not going to be able to hit it!"
Just then, four figures bound over the wall to confront the creature. "Yo, skeletor, how about a little wager against this piranah-rabbit, I bet 20 seconds." Grimm was a young man with jet-black hair, blue eyes enough arrogance in battle to lead his comrades to believe he was dropped many times as a baby. Skeletor was a taller, spindly gentlemen, possibly in his early thirties, who wore a skull-mask from an ape-like creature that still hadn't been identified. His actual name was Greg but Grimm wouldn't let that fly. "Sure, 30 cribbles and 4. You can go first, I know if I am first, until I give you'll just whine like a-" "To late to back out now!" Grimm propelled himself towards the creature, sword-first.
A Dellphinx incase you were blissfully unaware, looks something like an elephant-sized rabbit, with the muzzle of a dog and the teeth of a piranah, not exactly a pretty sight.
Grimm Slashed at the creature, dancing out of the way of its him-sized paws. The way he fought was full of taunts and jeers towards creature, further boosting his self imposed idea that he was invincible.
"Enough." *BANG*.
A cone of metal with tailing chains and several more spikes was fired from somewhere behind Skeletor with a flash of blue light. Piercing straight through the creature. "Hey, what was that for." "Your 20 seconds were up and the lives of the people are not yours to wager against." A woman, slightly taller than Grimm in very alien blue garb, toting a huge bloodrun cannon smirked in Grimm's direction. "You owe Greg 50 and 12 now, keep this up and you'll have nothing left to bet.
The fourth member of there group, weilding some form of scepter, pointing it at the Dellphinx carcass and the creature slowly began to lift off the ground. "This will make some warm clothing for the upcoming cold." The ominous member began walking back through the entry gate which was now open, the dead creature hovering behind him silently. "Oh, and I noticed that some of the clusters were uprooted, Grimm, I'm sure you'll fix that right?" The grin plastered on Grimm's face evaporated as he looked around at the damage his little flourish had caused. He held up a finger but the figure and creature were long since passed into town.
Noh'rn was helping Lady Verashin move some crates of Orangemeltons, strange watermelons with swirls that made excellent cake, though they were only grown in one of the sister cities, Noh'rn could not recall its name exactly. "Where do you want this.... one?" The tuning forks had began to resonate throughout the city, this meant that something was attacking, luckily if there was no further announcement, it was likely a class E or lower creature. Noh'rn looked around as did everyone else in the street, waiting for someone to come running saying it was a class A death event, but no such news came, so even with the walls rising Noh'rn and everybody else continued with business as usual. The only ones to be confused, hide or run towards the commotion from here were either new or...
Noh'rn watched as four fighters ran down the street, ones from the central guild he worked at. "First responders." He waved to the group as they hurried past but they didn't acknowledge him. Noh'rn considered going after them, but those four plus those on the wall would definitely be enough to take down something class E. Noh'rn went back to packing melons. "Noh'rn, shouldn't you be out there?" Frall was a man at least twice the size of Noh'rn who happened to be the one delivering the crates, but also helping carry them along side Noh'rn. "Nah, today is my day off, plus I had to fight that Class D last night." He tried to feign a smile but the tiredness in his eyes was evident. "Wait, then why are you doing this?" Frall was somewhat confused but Noh'rn let out a more genuine smile this time. "Gods Frall, have you never tasted Orangemelton Cake?" Noh'rn laughed and went back to packing the crates inside Lady Verashin's little bakery.
Moments later, a large fluffy carcass floated gently through the street, stopping a few buildings down at the tailors. Noh'rn wiped the sweat off his brow. "Man, tailoring is insane." Noh'rn flexed his bone gauntlets. "Like lawyers of nowhere ey, too bad our cash system is so primitive." Noh'rn dropped some carved silver and white bones into a bowl on the counter inside the bakery and picked up a nice looking peice of cake. "Stfuill, it bfeats nofing." Noh'rn smiled with his eyes while the elderly lady that was verashin slapped his wrist for talking with his mouth full.
Noh'rn looked up to the shuddering vents inside the establishment, his NEbreather hanging loosely around his neck. "I think I might go check out how the breather tech generators work tomorrow, you know, if we're not all dead." Noh'rn nodded goodbye to Frall and Verashin who thanked him with a handful of coins, much smaller than what she was getting ready for Frall for the shipment.
"You should come back with me to Betsora one time Noh'rn, see the farms and meet my wife." "On your deathboat, not a chance in hell Frall."
She watched with curiosity as the man threw ropes over to this island. The first one missed so he pulled it back. he threw it again and it caught on a rock. He slowly walked across, then sped up, running. He appeared to fall over as he reached the island, or he could of sat down heavily. Checking her Charged Weapon was charged and holstered, Selene started to climb out of the branches of the gargantuan tree. She slid down its slippery branches, temporarily knocking off her NEbreather. She stood up, fixing it back on, and called out to the man.
"Do you need help sir?"

Encircled by a large metal wall which was made from a materal that resembled steel, Cerera was a city of production and manufacturing. At her heart rests the artillery tower; A giant spike made from levels upon levels of mismatched cannons reaching up into the fog. Each level took two people to control and was the last line of protection for the guns and ships being made here. The local population of Cerera is a lot smaller than the other two cities, only 20 people live here permanently, mostly engineers.
Three people of Cerera ran 'the deathtrap' a local area including a mine from which a few metals were dug up, though the majority of metal came from the nets hanging above, catching particular creatures that were good for rarer metals. One was unhooking a bird-like creature the size of the bus, common procedure was to let them escape and then collect the razor feathers they dropped, often they would come back with more or when they had grown back most of the feathers, perpetuating the cycle. The creature let out a piercing squark in the face of the man who was wearing headphones, before it flew off hastily, trying to get away from the deathtrap. "Hmm, a relatively decent haul."
Selene felt sorry for the man, He'd been stranded here for ages, and didnt even know what this was, like myself when i was new here.
"well, Huis, atleast you didnt destroy E... is it E2?" I placed a hand on his shoulder.

"And then i came here. I'm sure you know how it happens Huis. At first i thought this was earth, and then there was a lot of creatures at night. and i... i..."

Nocturne
A painful growl cause by a large monster is clearly audible by those around the area, it was heard during the last attack made by a young fighter and his unique bloodrun blade, the continuous slash made by the blade had cut deep into the flesh of the monster. It was not long before the monster loose its last breath and its large remain fell to the ground. "Whoo! Another target down, and it's another Class D, you sure lived up to your name Nocturne" an unnamed fighter praise the young fighter who took the last blow on the enemy. "Thanks.. your compliment is appreciated.." Nocturne made his exit from the battlefield letting the other fighters handle the monster corpse themselves, his contract was over and there is nothing else for him to do there thus he decided to make his leave. Nocturne enter the city of Allvanah after his mission and head toward a free area where he could find himself a spot to take a rest, he sit down at one of the corners looking aimlessly at the others around the area, pondering on what his next move would be.
Beautiful Betsora, a city nestled on a volcanic island. Channels had been built to redirect the lava flow around the city, its soil is lush and allows for the growth of many foods. Betsora was discovered only recently, about a year or two ago, but was already a human paradise, it was discovered that the sweet smell of the fruits and vegetables native to the island kept many monsters at bay. It would be considered a complete paradise if it were not for the bat problem.
Bats, (if you were blissfully unaware) are a class N creature, much like a rat with wings. The people of earth 1 say such a creature exists in their world too, but theirs are not the size of houses. Bats while easy to defeat with the right weapons, usually hunt in packs of 4, these packs are treated as a class E threat and should not be taken lightly. It is recommended that 2-3 hunters take on a pack at a time.
The city of Betsora sports tall, beautiful wind chimes, like cell towers of E1 or the Zet spires of E3, these are placed around farmlands and at the human domain's border, while they keep most of the Bats from attacking or eating the fruit, dedicated Bat squads remain on patrol at all times, particularly at night. During the day (Curve up) the Bats often are sleeping, hanging from the bottom of the volcanic island and many smaller surrounding islands.
((As you can probably tell, we have City A, B and C. It should be easy to keep track of things happening in each.))
The five walls of Allvanah chimed in quick succession, playing a short tune that was played each evening just before curve down. Noh'rn was just about to enter the Guild gallery to his room and looked up to the sky. Curve down was no subtle action, the curve quickly slid across the sky of the planet and the last of the light faded like a candle being waved out. As soon as the darkness settled, globes hanging above the walkways by cables began to glow. Noh'rn entered the gallery and quickly found his door.
The guild held many of the less permanent residents of Allvanah, there was one in both of the sister cities also, the doors closer to the entrance were reserved for new inhabitants of nowhere and the rooms further back were where Noh'rn was staying. He passed several noticably empty rooms, eerily silent Noh'rn suspected the group from earlier today were out celebrating their victory.
((sorry for inactivity, and if i double post this I'm sorry it doesn't look like its posted))
Selene stood up
"i personally haven't tried, but man others have, its either failed and they've stayed here, or they've been, well, it seems one way transit. and i really sent want to after I've seen the... them."
"and anyway, id prefer to find new earths"

"... yeah, and I was just sitting down on floor one when she- oh gods." "what? What is it?!" "oh gods, oh gods, oh gods." The first guard dropped his small metal cup, it clattered against the metal floor of the artillery tower as the man begun frantically running towards the other side of the circular room, he slammed his hand into a large red button and sirens began to work their way throughout Cerera.
"ABERRANT!" The second guard manning this third floor of the artillery tower had gone pale, his pupils narrowed in fright, gleaming towards the city of Cerera was a Clawfisk almost three times the normal size and with a skull for visage. Its tendrilly legs stood like spikes jutting along the side of its body, cutting through the air.
"oh gods, sjik, this thing.. that... it." The first guard snapped him out of it with a sharp yell of his name. "..snap out of it! I need help manning this floor." The second guard nodded and grabbed a console and set of levers in the center of the room, with a flurry the exterior cannons of the third floor began shifting and turning, readjusting to face the approaching monstrosity.
"Cerera is a lot smaller than the other two cities, i can't quite remember there names, only 20 people live here permanently, mostly engineers, a few others."
Selene was about to announce her presence when the noise of the sirens hit her.
"we need to hide, that doesn't sound good."
"ABERRANT"
Selene looked up, it looked like a large clawfisk
"defiantly need to hide, split up, meet me back here, find somewhere to hide, stay close to the wall Kasper"
Selene stated running, pounding the ground, spotting a tree she sprinted towards it and leaped upwards, grabbing a branch which she used to swing herself higher. her foot landed on the next branch and she pushed herself up higher. reaching the top of the tree she bent some branches to make a "floor" and drew her charged weapon, a blue sword with a cyan hilt, with a crackle of energy.

Ripples, rails and various other projectiles streamed into the air above Cerera, pelting the creature's tough armor hide, dealing what seemed to be minimal damage. "What kind of creature is that." One guard on the exterior of the 4th Artillery Tower floor, manning a large cannon beside another individual manning a similar arm pointed with one arm as he continued to fire with the wheel in his other hand. "It's ginormous, what's the rating on this one?" The other one was focusing more so on the fight, grasping his cannon controls with both hands but still managed to find time to speak into the radio near his head. "They're treating it as a class B. All members of the guild have been issued to return and help, but I think we'll only get 7 or 8 of them since there was a scouting group headed to Cerera underside today.
"At least most of the Tower guards were on duty." The first guard looked at a monitor near his cannon, there were 6 floors operational so far out of a total of 20, though of course they only had enough man power for 8 or 9 tower with manpower stretched thin working in the city. The 4th tower housed two of the most powerful weapons, the ripple-gigacannons, though their external nature meant anyone ballsy enough to learn to use them would be more exposed to the elements.
The creature came closer into view, circling high above the city, several of its fronter spikes split and opened, revealing odd organs that began raining smaller, like-coloured spikes onto the city. As they hit some of these exploded but many just simply pierced, the town had already become chaos.
City: Allvanah
A large boat descends down onto the docks of Allvanah, large crates chained to its carrying surface. "Bring 'er down!" A bald man wearing a vest made of some sort of burnt hide was waving the ship down. Large chains are were lowered and hooked onto metal posts protruding from just beyond the walls of Allvanah. The man gave a thumbs up signal as the ship settled beside the sky port.
"What cargo are you carrying?" "Oh, some large metal plates we found near Betsora, we're hoping they can be of some worth at Cera but we need supplies." "Metal plates you say?" The scrawny fellow piloting the sky ship frantically lifted a slim rectangular object from a crate, it was of a dull gold colour and had some interesting patterns. "They're all nearly the same, we found them just sitting in a pile on an island near to 'Sora." The bald man nodded. "Interesting, hopefully the smiths of Cerera can make something of them. Anyways, carry on your business, there should be plenty supplies of your needing here, we just got some shipments this morning."
Noh'rn

Selene made a quick calculation.
"not too long Kasper, we should be home by daybreak"
the eerie sound of wind blowing through the tangled fungi chilled her to the bone
"come on, lets go"

City: Cerera
"... yeah, and I was just sitting down on floor one when she- oh gods." "what?
