(( @Fire wave: (Commando, PM me if you have an alternative.) Vampires are to be extremely rare, making up about .5% of the population of Terma. Said vampire lord would not have a vampire army, but mercenaries or "Disciples" of him could make up a small force for him. Other than this the character sounds fine, I would like you to take exceptional care to keep vampires non OP however. Welcome. @Ragazine: That sounds like an interesting Char, a gentleman merc. Make sure the weapon is non OP, but welcome. ))
Ardin, Thor and Angus* gallop through the forest. They had no idea that a distraction had just saved them from death by dragon. Ardin hears a howl behind them, wolves. Thor turns to face these canines, nostrils flaring. Ardin jumps off his horse, drawing his sword. "Alright then, come on!" He cries. There are about ten wolves, attacking purely out of desperation. A hint of guilt hit Ardins heart, the creatures had no choice, something had scared their prey from the forest, the dragon. Angus pounces on a wolf, and the fight begins.
Karthra is ahead of Leif when Phoenix lands in front of her. "Commander Leif!" She yells, drawing a dagger. Suddenly a gust of wind litterly blows out the flames behind them. The ground shakes, causing both leif and Kartha to turn and look behind them. "Dragon!" Kartha yells out, drawing her bow.
"The world of man shall fall, it shall fall into fire!" The dragon roars, then takes off once again, but heading towards the mountains. He gave the humans a warning, but once he was in his final form, they would perish...
*Thor is Ardins horse, and Angus his hunting cat. More info on hunting cats:
The Hunting cat of Terma is a wild creature, tamed only by the Scots and a few native wandering tribes. The animal is about the size of a medium sized dog, and is exceptionally agile and fierce.

Upon the reappearance of the Phoenix, Leif drew his sword, prepared to battle this Phoenix until it tires and can not reform itself, if that were possible. Before he could reach the Phoenix, however, he felt an incredible blast of warm wind on his back. Whipping around, he discovered the fire in the forest now extinguished, and a great Dragon in sight as well. Dragons, unlike the Phoenix, he had seen more than once. They were rare beasts, but seemed to gravitate towards large municipalities such as the one where he had been raised. Occasionally, he had also seen them on previous missions, and therefore it was not the appearance of the Dragon that surprised him. No, what surprised him was the consistency with which this mission was failing. First there had been the Lycan, easily defeated but still a hindrance. Next, the Barlos had caused the loss of their horses and the dispersement of the group. After that, the Phoenix had arrived, followed by a rabid bear and now, finally, a Dragon. If he didn't know better he would say there was some sort of conspiracy. And now, faced with this Dragon, he deeply wished he had brought his bow, and not just his sword. When the mighty Dragon flies off, he remains tense, his eyes darting around for any signs of a return, and then looking to the Phoenix to see if it will pursue the Dragon.
(( Let me restate that. Point five. That's what I had. Although if you think 1% to be better so be it. ))
Ardin brings down two of the wolves, blood staining his sword. This was not the warrior's way, it was a mercy kill. His father had taught him before he died that every animal had a spirit, a purpose...
The Horse belonged to freedom, the wind of the grasslands. His power was the pride of the Gods. The Eagle held speed and pride, he was a brother of the horse. The Deer was swift and elegant, having cation and timidity. The Bear held strength, ruling his forest. The Wolf held the spirit of the wild, the spaces where man dared not tread belonged to him, the wilderness was his home. He was smart, fast and strong. Not such as these, beasts of nobility fallen into starvation. Ardin would end their disgrace and anguish. Their souls would once again roam the forests.
Thor was a horse of honor, holding the freedom and strength of his kind. Side by side with Ardin he kicked and stomped his adversaries. Angus was killing wolves also, striking quickly and silently while the were engaged with his master.
After a fight of fifteen minutes or so, the ground was covered in blood. As Ardin stared at the bodies, light snow beginning to fall, he noticed a fallen wolf choking on his own blood, the large black alpha. Ardin unsheathed his dagger and approached the animal.
The wolf looked at him with its eyes like light, a noble fallen to disgrace.
Ardin laid his hand on the creature, crouching beside it he spoke to the alpha.
"Brother, you have the strength of the bear, the pride of the eagle, and soon you shall have the freedom of the horse. Forgive me for what I do, but I think should we meet in the life after this that you may thank me. Your suffering shall end now my Than, my ancestor dearest. I send you now to the realm of the spirit, where once again you will be honored and free. You earthly body will be put to noble use, this I promise. Sleep well my brother, and thank you."
Light faded from the wolves eye, the quick and painless, yet honorable end he was meant to have arrived. He was to suffer no more.
Karthra also looked at the great bird. "What will it be? Will you pursue of will you stay?" She asked, looking at the great bird.
Leif watched the Phoenix as it flew out of sight, and breathed deeply in relief. He had been worried that their conflict would escalate to the point at which one of the two parties would be eliminated, and privately, he expected that the Phoenix would not be on the losing side. With this weight lifted, he turned to Kartha, and tried to remember what they had been discussing when the Phoenix had arrived... His adrenaline was still pumping, so it was hard to keep his mind on one thing, and something else was trying to push into his conciousness. He suppressed it, but couldn't quite recall what their previous conversation had been about. He then began to take inventory of their supplies and weapons. Once he was sure they had everything (Not everything they had left with, but everything they could be expected to still carry), he gestured to begin walking again and asked:
"Do you remember where we left off? My mind appears to have skirted that memory."

((The long sword, a weapon of a gentlemen. Excellent, Now we have close to every faction currently available. I cannot wait until I get to unbox the Sholan...))
"I haven't a clue what we were discussing before sir." Karthra replies, then turns to continue walking. It was a bit of a cold response.

Leif is a little shaken by the stiff manner in which Karthra had responded, but he decides it must somehow be jealousy of his superior position and younger age. Internally, he smiles contentedly, while externally he allows their march to fall into silence. He looks up to see it is now past noon. Hopefully they can travel without rest until at least nightfall.
((I'm bored and feel like writing, so time for a filler post!))
Tergen moved swiftly through the forest, his feet a flurry of movement. He clutched his sword tightly, tense, ready for any sign of danger. His eye's were bloodshot, they scanned the area quickly as he moved, fueled by desperation. His breathing came in fast and hard, he was tiring quickly but he knew he needed to keep moving. He need blood, human blood, or else the vampirism would fully control his mind and he would become like a beast. Anyone who saw him would say he appeared like a starving wolf that knew he needed to find prey fast or else he would die of starvation.
He nearly yelled with excitement when he saw it, two set's of feet! He increased his speed and followed the tracks, making plans in his mind to attack at night.

Kyle roams around the streets of a Scottish village, looking for someone to hire him. He stopped at a nearby tavern, to get some drink and to rest for a while. He had a rough day, and decided to rent a room. The only available room was a big sized room with 3 beds and separate bathroom. So he pays for it, and rest for about half an hour. When he looked through the window, he noticed that something ablaze was circling the forest. He also noticed two people was closing to the town, and they seemed to need some help. He took his longsword, and set off to help those people in need, hoping to get a reward. It looks like they've gone for a swim, he thought, and walk slowly towards them
((He need's blood or he will go bat crap insane, but he's not all too guilty about it. He did kill children in raids and I called him a devil in his bio, so.
But he does still hate the curse, it forces him to attack from the shadows, like a coward and he is practically a slave to the curse. He also does have an injury I have yet to reveal that has weaken him greatly.))
"You orders sir?" She asks, secretly hoping the young commander will ask her to make a judgment call. Lying low would make the most sense, going in under cover...

"It looks like a Shcot village, which is what we need. I think a raid is in order... But not yet. We'll wait until nightfall. Do you disagree?" Leif says, wondering what his partner is thinking. His choice of words aims to create an environment open to discussion while maintaining a sense of authority. The village certainly does look Shcot, but it is definitely one of the larger, outlying villages.

"I should say that is a wise idea sir, however it will need to wait. A man approaches. For now, you are my brother." Karthra finished as Kyle came near. She sheathed her dagger and removes her green hood, allowing the man to see her face.

Leif nodded in agreement. The lie won't be too hard to sell, their hair is similar in colour and to an outsider, many Garlants have the same sharp-cut facial features. Leif replaces his dagger, but he knows that he can't hide his sword. Of course, it is not too uncommon for a man to carry a sword while in the woods. He decides that when asked, he'll respond they were out hunting. He glances back at Kartha. She definitely seems ready, and he hope that he looks the same. As the man approaches, Leif calls out:
"Hello, sir! What's the name of that village up ahead?" Leif says, hoping he has appeared friendly enough in his remarks.

Kyle stepped backwards as the girl shows her dagger. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Calm down, okay? I'm not a bandit." Kyle said. The other guy questioned him about what 's the name of the village. " Uhh.... I don't really know what. Cause I'm just passing by." Kyle said, with a small, nervous laugh. "Anyway, you guys looks like you need a rest. I have a room in a tavern wit three bed, separate bathroom, and super-sized. Would you come, or no?" Kyle said.
Ardin knows that this village will not know him from rumors yet as he also approaches.
When he spots the Phoenix, who is now being harassed by some guards, he is furious.
"You, gaurds men!" Ardin shouted as he dismounted his steed. "Do ye know wot sort of bird ye be after!?"
"Aye traveler! This O'l Roc was attacking our gate!"
"A Roc would have killed you by now, that.." Ardin said, approaching the bird sitting on the ground a few yards away. "Is a phoenix."
These also Ardin father had told him about as a boy.
The first phoenix had come from a land in the south west, of sand and heat, unlike what one would find in Terma. Sometimes the sun would find a normal bird, one of braveheart, and a phoenix would be born. These birds were smart, strong and to be respected.
Into the ground Ardin plunged his sword, at the front of the great bird he took knee an, from his satchel, lay a fish.
"Forgive me great brother, for the actions of my race. I give you this small gift and my metal as a sign of friendship. Yours is a spirit of power, speed and fire, I hope only that you might befriend mine of modesty and loyalty."
He looked upon the great bird, its eyes full of thought...
