[Humble City]
Darkened clouds rolled over the quiet little city, the mass of grey blotting out the sun and blue sky above. A couple of Hoppip and an Espurr stop playing in the flower boxes by one particular house and make their way indoors; The few other Pokemon that had been playing in the street do likewise."This will shuure be quite the storm." As if only talking to herself the elderly woman looked pleased as her Hoppip bobbed there, shaking in agreement, her granddaughter at whom the comment continued to be enthralled by her new Azumarill doll, completely unaware of the whether brewing outside. "It'd do you well to take more notice of what is going on around you." The woman almost 'Tsk'ing with annoyance at the girl as she looked for her granddaughter's coat.
Espurr looked out the closed window, he couldn't even see the end of the street, the storm had seemingly set rather quickly upon the city, Espurr wasn't sure how far a storm could reach but he suspected that it was quite far. "Now there, best you keep away from the window." The woman closed the Curtains in front of Espurr who wasn't done wondering what the storm was doing. "Charmeleon. Thank you." The woman had already forgotten about Espurr, distracted by Charmeleon who was now putting logs into the fire place. Espurr stared at the closed curtains, he could still hear the storm, and he could hear shouting.
Out by the fountain in Humble City's square and seemingly unaffected by the storm sat a strange looking individual with ruffled up hair, rolling a sole pokeball back and forth on the marble slab of the fountain. Humming to himself a shout was thrown at him from a cafe across the courtyard. "Hey! Hey you! You should get inside! You'll get soaked!" "Hmm?" The individual looked up at the person shouting at him, smiled and laughed like someone had just told him a partially funny joke. "I know, but i'm on the job." his voice wasn't carried over the storm but it seemed as if the guy from the cafe had dismissed this stranger. "Hmmm Hmm Hmmmmm~" The person went back to rolling his pokeball back and forth, ignoring the rain that was falling around him. He checked his pokenav for any messages from base, sure it was dated technology and a holocaster would have been more appropriate, but it reminded him of home.
[Unknown Location]
"Lucario! Bone Rush!" Standing high above the indoor stadium stood Havros, opposing him was Feign, a currently unranked Guard of Team Havoc, but looking to possibly be one of the next big players. Lucario rebounded off of the stadium wall as four bones made from his aura appeared, looking not dissimilar from rib bones, broken at one end. As suspected the barrage was met by a protect from the Slowbro in front of Lucario, still standing with hazy eyes in the exact same spot it had been for the past ten minutes. "It's no use, our defenses are almost perfect." A calm yet taunting voice carried across the room which seemingly blocked out all sound from the rain outside. "Enough Lucario, we'll try again tomorrow." Lucario bowed respectfully to the Slowbro that was derping about and respected it regardless that it did not bow back. Lucario would have liked to believe that his trainer had called of the battle after noticing him slow down, but this was not the case, it was clear that Havros was already getting frustrated and did not want to watch anymore.
"How is your mission progressing." There was a harsh tone to Havros' voice as he spoke to the recipient on the other end, the screen merely displayed 'No visual accessible' "Uuuuuuuuuuuuuum. Soaking." The caller on the other end made sure to stretch his "Umm" as far as possible before he'd imagine an angry Havros would physically harm him. "No news yet. Just rai-" *click* *beep beep beep* Havros had ended the call. It was unusual for his Lucario to not be able to win a fight so easily, sure he could probably win if he took more time, but aside from his two superiors Havros had previously found no one that he could not defeat in under five minutes. "What are we doing wrong..."
[Seaport View]
A couple of Wailmer bobbed slowly with the waves, the city was quite a spectacle when it rained they both agreed, the tide was quite far in and it wasn't too hard to witness the rain dancing off of the well trimmed grass beyond the shore line. It was then they noticed high above the town circled a Flygon, they had not seen a Flygon in these parts for a while but it was indeed quite odd that it was flying especially in rain such as this. The Flygon circled the city skyline before dropping down gracefully onto the roof of one of the taller buildings. The Wailmer dismissed the Flygon and dived under the sea's rolling surface once more, Seaport view was almost as beautiful as the ruins deep below the surface. Almost.
"Did you see anything?" "Gonn...." The human with goggles perched on his head matching the goggles of his Pokemon reached into his pack, retrieving a poffin which he threw at his friend. "Okay then, time for us to get out of here." He carefully slid the metal canister into his pack and looked back over at the door he had entered the building through. "Don't worry, nobody saw." He climbed onto his Flygon which then flew off at a quick pace. "Let's hope this is the thing the boss asked for, i'm not going back in there, they had Mightyena on night duty. He adjusted his collar mid speech and looked into the night sky ahead, the goggles definitely helping him see through the rain which had picked up it's pace
Reina scurried into Humble City alone, having reluctantly called Joshua into his barely-used pokeball that hung around her neck. The rain was coming down harder, and she was worried about the overworked reptile's health. She stood up straight once she reached the center of town, and ducked into the doorway of a house, out of the rain. She peered out into the downpour, seeing someone sitting at the fountain. "Excuse me!" She stepped back out into the rain, moving to talk to the stranger in the rain.

A favourite hobby of mine was to imagine fantastic stories and heroic tales, sharing them with my late friend and trainer Miles. It seemed my trainer's death had discouraged me from doing that any further. It's the stuff of dreams after all. Dreams don't bring back the dead. Not even our God Pokemon could revive those who have passed away. No matter how many stories I make, none of them will be real.
My name is Miles Hall. As you may notice, it is an alias. I never had a name. I was simply referred to as "The Noibat," with some deviations such as "The Annoying-bat." Me and him only did that once, since it was a disappointing play on words. It fit the situation at the time, though.
It had been five years since my trainer's passing. His family had moved on. I wasn't ready to move on, at least not that quickly. Images were sealed in a safe. The mother commanded the father they return to their jobs for income. I didn't want to forget him so easily. So, I stole an image of my trainer from the safe, a wrinkled band of paper that had me lying on my trainer's head. A week before his passing. An image worth a thousand words, and a million memories.
As I flew around the house, I heard rain splatter against our old windows. The father simply sniffed, sitting by the mother near a lit fireplace. "Lauren... I don't want to throw away this one." They were sorting out the images they didn't want. The father wore a brown jacket that reached down to his waist. He had a blue horizontally-stripped shirt underneath. He wore old jeans and his black hair was always ruffled, with white hairs beginning to show on the sides. His hands were quite rough and his feet were worse. His voice was coarse but understandable.
"You have to. That was the day where Miles fell off his bike." The mother... she was strange. She had a cold voice, mixed with warmth and... sounding like she was holding something back. She always did. She often wore a coat with a red shirt behind it. She wore pink- no, purple glasses with her dark brown hair tied behind it. Before my trainer's passing, she wore long white boots. Now, she wears regular shoes you would normally find in a lab. She had been quieter lately. She hadn't aged well, but it was hard to see wrinkles on her face from this distance.
"No... no. I-I can't do this, Lauren. I can't jus' burn them an' feel better afterwards. They're th'only things we have of Miles..." The father responded, coughing at the end of his sentence. The mother didn't move, stuck in place as she listened to him.
"James, we..." She stopped short of telling him to burn my trainer's only reminders. I felt an anger dissipating the longer she stopped talking. They didn't mind me on a brown drawer, with rain hitting the window behind me and the fire cracking wood. "James. We have to move on-"
"Just stop, Lauren. Where'd ye even get the idea of burnin' our memories? Leave them alone. Miles' gone, but I don't want no ashes in our safe." The father insisted on keeping the images, barely raising his voice.
As I scratched my ear, the mother simply stood up and neatly stacked the photos. She hadn't burnt any of them yet. "Alright. I... just wanted to move on. We can't keep crying over Miles, James."
"Crying?" The father asked. I held my wings by my mouth. "We haven't focken cried in over a'month now." I felt rather scared, but the father tried to keep his tone the same. "We've- I've already moved on, but you're askin' me to burn my own son here." The father walked past the mother, where she faced him as he put on his large shoes.
"Where are you going?"
"To the club." He replied. The father's voice sounded more coarse than ever. "I got better things to do there than here, Lauren." I flapped my wings and landed on the armrest of the couch, letting my arms down as the father pulled out an umbrella from a bucket and popped it up, turning it to get through the doorway and waiting outside. "Argh. This focken rain better end soon, otherwise I can't get to Humble City." I heard him mumble, through my large ears while the mother simply lifted her bags.
"Where are you going?"
"Back to my lab." She replied, in a similar fashion to him. Perhaps even mocking him. The rain's noise overwhelmed the fire and made hearing rather painful. She stood underneath his wide and black umbrella, sharing a brief kiss. "I have much work to catch up on. They're doing something spectacular soon, so I can't keep missing work."
The father sighed. I was quite taken by the prospect of being left at home again - but this time, what would I do if they both left? "Alright. Who's gonna take care of the Noibat?" They both glanced at me for a few seconds, before facing each other. I wanted them to close the door already. Sure enough, the father closed his umbrella, and closed the door while he and the mother came inside. "Noibat..." It was awkward to call me that. "You'll have t'stay at home by yourself. You can do that, right?"
I wanted to say something, but all that came out was a few wisps. "Well... James, I have to go in about ten minutes. The professor in Twisted-Oak Village won't be impressed if I don't make the boat." I heard the clock ticking, hearing now fire, rain and the clock ticking, not to mention the family talking and walking.
"Alright, Lauren. Take the checkered umbrella on yer way out - the blue one's broken. I'll see you in a month." He said it as if her long leave were as short as leaving for an hour. Mixed bird Pokemon flew around the storm as they landed safely on the green grass, pecking their wings in the bushes.
As she left and caused me a brief moment of pain from opening the door, the father faced me. "I... I dunno what t'do about you, Noibat." He grumbled, wishing he hadn't been talking to me. "I'm sorry Miles isn't around to... well, care for you. But, as y'know, he's gone." He seemed to struggle to speak for a second, but the father pulled through and continued talking to me. "I can't jus' leave you here."
For once, I decided to speak. "Mr. James..." Normally, a person would flinch upon seeing a Pokemon talk. The father did, forgetting I could speak. "If there is one thing Miles wanted to do, it was to become a trainer. He didn't want to stay inside forever. So he went outside, with me as his Pokemon."
For a second, the father closed his eyes. He breathed out his nose. "What are you tryin' to say?"
"I want to become a trainer. For Miles. I want to leave the house, go outside and live for him." I lied to him, and I was hoping it would stick. Being the big man he was, he was obviously tough. And he wanted Miles to become a strong person.
The father bit his lip. "So. You want'go outside and face the world, what with all the Team Havoc shenanigans and now this focken weather?" He pointed outside. He raised his voice for the first time. "Aye... I want to honour Miles. But I don't want you gettin' killed over this."
Speaking of the stuff of dreams... "Here, then." He pulled out a Pokeball, rolling it on the armrest towards me. The sound of it rolling shocked me until I held it. "Make me proud, and you'll make Miles proud. Stop by my club at any time." With that, the father left, turning to the door and leaving. I was alone in the house, with rain and all sorts of other sounds annoying me.
I got a dream to fulfill... at least, my own one. I thought, waiting for the rain to die down while thinking about my time with Miles...
A young boy with a Togepi on his shoulder walked through the crowded streets filled with people wearing souvenir shirts saying "I <3 SSC" with the drawing of Luvdisc between the two words. The boy looked around as he marched, staring at the place in awe. He looked down at his Town Map, drawing the path between him and the closest Pokémon Centre in the city.
From what he knew, there was no transport to the Altrue Gardens so he'd have to reach there by feet. Perhaps Glide could take us there via flight but then we wouldn't be able to see the pokémon on the path to the Gardens. After having arrived at the Centre, he lent his pokéballs to Nurse Joy. After some time, he collected the three pokéballs once more.
The crowd was slowly getting less and less dense as he moved towards the edge of the city. His face lit up as he stood still for a moment at the edge of the path covered in trees. "We're almost there," he said to the pokémon. "Let's go!"
[Alltrue Gardens]
~Today~
The boy stood in front of the famous maze in the center of the city. The Togepi's head was sticking out of his bed, the eyes closed. He rushed into the maze, moving around each corner, marking his path on a piece of paper. He seemed to be looking for something, glancing around the corner with each turn.
*Splat splat.* As the flats of his shoes hit the soaked pavement they made satisfying splashing sounds, the man rolled his neck and shoulders from side to side with an inaudible crack and picked up his lonely Pokeball with his thumb and index finger. "Ah, looks like i have company~ How exciting!~" his voice was sarcastically enthusiastic as he rubbed his back with his free arm, sitting without anything supporting him for so long had left him feeling somewhat awkward. "And here comes another one." He began stretching his wrist in a throwing motion, the Pokeball rolling back and forth as he did so, should trouble arise he would surely need his throwing arm.
"Excuse me!"
The first individual began moving towards him as if she wanted to talk, the stranger took a step backwards but his foot was met by the wall of the fountain so he was left with an awkward wobble. "Uh-" "What has you out here anyway?" The second stranger was rapidly approaching, a dripping Pokemon immediately in tail but somewhat hidden behind said trainer. "Hup." The individual immediately hopped up and backwards, landing on top of the fountain wall on which he was previously sitting with some form of grace. "I do believe it is common courtesy for one to introduce themselves before they rather abruptly approach a stranger."
With his off hand in his pocket and his primary hand tapping his Pokeball to his thigh, the stranger took a couple of steps clockwise then roughly the same amount of steps back to his original position. "So without further ado; The Name's Lucky, Lucky Ace, but you can just call me Lucky Ace, because that's my name...." His voice trailed off realising the errors in his speech but he did not falter to fix them. "I think this is the part where you both introduce yourselves." He gestured to the two that had approached, finishing with the one tailed by a Goodra. "Your Pokemon here too if you'd like."
The goggled man and his Flygon approach a small lake, the grey clouds that had engulfed the sky over Seaport reach even here. "This weather hey, you'd think it was the middle of winter." "Fly. " His Pokemon nodded in complete agreement but this went unnoticed by the man who was approaching the pond, withdrawing something from a pouch connected to his belt. From the pouch a small coin was withdrawn, it had a hole in the center and two sides were missing giving it a half-rectangle half-circle appearance. He threw the coin which skipped across the surface of the water landing somewhere in the center. "This is a terrible setup, they do know that right?" A few seconds after the coin had disappeared below the surface the ground shook and the sound of water displacement began immediately. From where he had thrown the coin, a metal tube 2 meters in diameter broke the surface of the lake and a small drawbridge extended just enough as so that he could access the tube.
*Click* When the process was complete the elevator door slid down with a click alerting the two that their ride was ready, they clambered into the pod which could possibly fit four or five men and pressed the only other button that wasn't currently lit. "Going down" The door slid shut slowly, sensors making sure it didn't catch any limbs and once again a *Click* was heard. Flygon watched carefully as the water filled the viewing port and even more so carefully still when some fish Pokemon seemingly floated past. "Don't worry Flygon, it's just an elevator-" "Basement one" The door slid open and the two of them blinked in surprise at the room in front of them.
[Altrue Gardens]
The maze spread almost as far as the eye could see. Kiera stared out from her fourth floor apartment, any higher and she could probably make a map of the maze. Above and among the hedge Kiera noted several Pokemon drifting through the wind, she liked watching the Pansages play among the hedges but her favorite sight was to watch the Drifloon float by at sunset every Friday, it was especially funny to watch the Pansage's failed attempts to grab their feet. "Heh.." Kiera looked off into the distance for a moment but then back at the maze. Unsurprisingly the weather was not too bad today, the sky was grey and it was a little bit cold, but otherwise it was okay. According to the weather application on her Holo-caster it was raining in most parts today.
Kiera caught sight of a couple of trainers entering then maze entrance closest to her apartment building, they didn't look anything special, one was on his bike and the other had a Nidorino following close behind. "They don't look too special, i doubt the'll even find the center." *Beeeeeeep* The sound of the microwave oven made Kiera jump, she happily retrieved her popcorn and brought Shuppet with her out to the stairwell, the two often liked to head up on to the roof level and watch newcomers fail in their attempts to complete the maze. Sometimes they made it but the Battle with the person in the center was never interesting enough to justify watching.

[In the forest near Humble City, near the road]
"Once more Elena!" Erion yelled as Elise lets out another confusion attack towards a oddish, finishing it off. Near her, a couple of oddish where there, fainted. Elena was breathing deeply after that.
" Next time watch where your walking Erion.... god.... Elena said to Erion. Erion shook his head at this, breathing deeply.
"Sorry.... with all this grass all around here, how do you expect me to just walk without any trouble, especially with those guys looking just like herbs..." he says. Elena sighed at this.
"And how would you expect to be able to beat that guy that took your father if you end up at the pokemon center most of the time trying to heal from poison..." Elena then says. Erion growled a bit at this.
"Sorry.... god.... Let's.... lets jut stop fighting please. I did a mistake, alright.... At least it did give some training." he says. Elena sighed at this."I guess... " she says before moving to Erion and jumping on his shoulder, her tail wagging a bit, calmer now as she keeps close to Erion. Erion breath deeply, and looks at the sky, seeing the sky starting to get gray now. He grumbles a bit.
"It's about to rain.... we need to find a safe place... Elena then says. Erion nods at this before starting to run full speed, going towards the city. Just then it started to rain, making Erion's clothing and Elena's all wet soon. They soon arrive at a shop as Erion runs inside of it, and shook the rain off. I hate rain.... there goes my tuque...." she says shaking the water off her. Erion chuckles as he removes the tuque and then started to twist it a bit to remove the water from there. The shop owner looked at them a bit surprised.
"What the heck are you doing out there at that temperature?" he asks."
"We were training and then..." Erion says, Elena starting to speak a bit
[i'"Training.... more like accidental horde attack." Elena then says, before Erion sighed at this. She then shook her whole body, moving the water out of her fur, but then it started to puff up, making her look a bit more like a fur ball then a espurr. Erion hold back a small laugh at this as Elena lets out some small noise that would be inappropriate to translate. The shop owner smiles a bit.
"Well... uhm.... I guess you guys might need a umbrella or something...." the shop owner then says, going to look at his ware.
"I... kinda don't have much money..." Erion then says. The shop owner looks at him and sighed
"Well I don't think I would mind if you stay here a bit till the rain subsides a bit, or I could try and find you something that would not cost you too much." the shop owner then said. Erion breath deeply as he looks outside, the rain starting to pour down even more at the second. He just hoped that it would pass soon or something. Elena seemed a bit mad right now, but soon calmed down."Stupid rain.... " she grumbles. The shop owner looks at her and smiles.
"Seem someone does not like water too much." the shop owner says
" Not when it rains right on my face! she says, thought the shop owner only heard her do her normal noise. Erion chuckles a bit at this as the shopowner looks at him.
"What so funny?" the owner then says.
"Nothing." he says. He did not tell anyone else about his special gift, knowing full well that if he were to do that... it might end up with him being looked at either like a mad man or a mutant or something.... which was not what he wanted. He was just happy to be able to understand his friend. He looked at the rain outside as the shopowner looked for some kind of umbrella that would not cost too much for Erion.
"So.... what brings you to Humble City" The owner then asks.
"Exploration.... training up...." he says, not wanting to get in detail.
"Alright...." the owner says. Something was weird about Erion, he could feel it. but he could not say what.
After several minutes and tries of finding the right path, the boy looked down at his notebook, seeing the lines cross over one another. "And we're back to where we were five minutes ago," he muttered. He pulled out one of the pokéballs on his belt and tossed it, letting a Kirlia out of it. "Flo, can you trace our path in the maze?"
The psychic pokémon nodded. The boy trusted his pokémon's intellect and handed the pad to Flo along with the pencil. "Alright. Now we can go this way," he suggested. As they moved the other way, they saw another person walk the other way, followed by a Throh. Just as they were passing by, the trainer noticed the pad Kirlia had.
"What is that?" asked the trainer. The boy looked at him, confused.
"Oh, the paper? It's to keep track of our path," he answered smiling.
"Oh? Hand it over," he said with a grin. With something like that, I'll get to the centre in no time!
"What? No, sorry," the boy refused.
The trainer gave him an annoyed look. "Throh, take it from them."
The boy quickly turned to them in amazement. "No way, go get your own!" The Throh approached them without slowing. "Tch. Fine! Flo, don't get distracted. Darwin'll take care of this." Flo nodded solemnly and kept moving forward. Darwin leapt out of the bag and down in front of the boy. The trainer stifled a laugh.
"HAha! You're gonna beat us with a Togepi? I've been at this for a long time! There's no way I'll lose!"
The fighting pokémon looked down at Darwin menacingly though the small pokémon in the egg seemed rather relaxed.
"Dazzling Gleam!" the boy ordered. Darwin started emitting light, throwing Throh back quite a bit.
The trainer clicked his tongue. "Get up and use Bulk Up!"
Just as the pokémon was making itself stronger and a possible threat, a smile curled up on the boy's lips. "Encore!" The same smile curled up on Darwin's face as the Throh used Bulk Up again.
"What are you doing, Throh?!" the trainer scolded it. "I didn't tell you to use Bulk Up again!" It looked at him helplessly.
"One last hit! Psychic!" Throh was lifted off the ground and tossed back, colliding with the hedge and almost going through it, pushing the trainer back as well. "Hehe. Good job, Darwin! Let's catch up to Flo!" As the two knocked out attackers laid unconscious, the Togepi jumped on the boy's back as he ran towards where Flo went.
Reina gave him a smile. "Sorry, I feel a little rushed when it's storming. I'm Reina." she lifted the pokeball by its chain around her neck. "And this is Joshua."
Lucky nods in response to the two strangers introducing themselves. "Well, it's been a pleasure to meet you, as for your question, i was simply tasked to monitor the city for a bit, make sure nothing weird is going on and all that, it would seem everything is perfectly fine so I suppose my work here is done." Lucky opened his Pokenav momentarily to check for any messages before shutting it and putting it back into his pocket. "I'm sorry, but i must take my leave for the time being, Perhaps we will meet again, maybe then i'll give you the honor of a Pokemon battle." Ace gestured as if he was tipping a hat, slowly backing away he climbed into a black car that pulled up rather timely then to disappear into the fog that was settling with the rain.
"A couple of weird ones them two..." Lucky straightened his tie and removed his jacket, motioning the person in the passenger seat to turn up the heat. "What kind of person takes a stroll in weather like this?" Lucky stared out the window at all the houses passing by. "Still, it was a waste of time, he didn't show." He removed his socks and shoes and perched his feet against one of the free heating vents. "We'll have to try again next week."

The challenger made his way down the stairs to the arena floor where his Slowbro was still sitting lazily. "Good work Slowbor, your defenses are unrivaled." *Unresponsive stare* "Yes, it was a little arrogant to end the match so soon, but i believe Havros is not one who is used to losing, perhaps he just does not see it in the possibilities." *Unresponsive stare* "Mmm, agreed, there is still plenty we need to work on, plus there is that part we still need to acquire for the boss." The challenger returned his Pokemon to its Pokeball and walked out of the hall slowly, each step echoing throughout the otherwise empty hall.
As the boy and the two pokémon kept moving through the maze, they were filling most of the piece of paper they had. As they moved forward, they saw less and less trainers. At one point, there were almost no trainers at all. Finally reaching a large opening with a large tree in the center, the three's faces lit up with joy.
He breathed calmly on a tree, slowly inhaling and exhaling. Infernape learned how to meditate from a Lucario who didn't think he was weird. The Lucario said that it would calm him and put him to ease. Then suddenly, rain, drops of water pours down quite heavily. Opening one eye, he looked at the rain and sighs. Do not become angry, it only makes it worst. Infernape closes his eyes and continues to meditate, breathing slowly. A big drop of water hits his head, and smoke flies out. Opening his eyes, once more, he erupts in flames and roars loudly, where a few people close to the forest would hear. Infernape pants, and remembers Lucario's words again. Calming himself down, he jumps down from the tree and sits under it, meditating.
Emoli examined the area, hoping to find shelter from a storm. finding no peoper shelter, he instead sat down next to a tree. "I hate storms. They drive Humans indoors, and then I can't take anything from them without risking capture..." he dozed off after finishing his sentance, and started dreaming about a world where he had suceeded in the mission he had been trying to complete for years: To make all Humans treat Pokémon as equals. It was paradise, at least in the dream.

As Erion waited for the umbrella that the shop owner told him about, he sighed and pets Elena a bit. She sighed calmly at this.
"You did want to go and challenge the gym... but... Think we would be ready? We are kinda just both of us for this... and you can't even fight..." Elena then says. Erion sighed and shakes his head at this. The shop owner was now looking at the back of the shop.
"I know.... I know I will need to learn to defend myself... I still feel strange with the whole... injection thing... will see what it does in the end... Though, I kinda do want you to become stronger also. And maybe find other pokemons that could join us.... but.... I don't want pokemons that won't want to come." he says. Elena nods at this, understanding. Back when they first met, Erion did tell her that he wasent sure about going on a journey when he was younger, preferring learning about them like his father.... though now that he was not there anymore, he knew that he himself would need to get stronger as well as his friends. She sighed as she looks at the rain that was dripping outside. Soon the shopowner walked back with a rather small umbrella, made of 1 colored fabric.
"This should do...." the shopowner then says. Erion smiles a bit at him, and looks at the price. Not too expensive... he could go with that. He then buys it, and after paying the man, looks outside. He was not sure what to do now.... Elena looked at him calmly
"I think I will be ok with the water if we are under that thing.... And... I am not sure about staying here.... no one to really talk to..." Elena then says. Erion breath deeply.
"Well... here I go... thank you mister for the umbrella." he says. The shop owner smiles and waves them goodbye as they leave through the door and into the rain. Erion, unsure, was heading towards the gym calmly. Might as well go see what they would be against and find some strategies. .
Several hours later, he had already begun to be calm and relaxed, he could feel his body feel much better. Ease, and silence. Deep meditation began, now all noises irritating him would fade away. Complete silence and ease. Nothing to worry about, nothing to be afraid of. He'd wondered if he would ever be with a trainer, because he always felt alone when he was cursed by the Mega-Evolution. Infernape felt more alone as weeks and days past by. But that was his second fear, for being alone his entire life. Just traveling too different places and looking at the many humans to think one of them would someday be his trainer. That thought ticked him off and it broke the deep meditation. He opened his eyes and they darted everywhere. After not seeing danger, he wanted to face his fear and find a trainer. A trainer who has passion and courage, to fight without fear. A worthy warrior. Infernape dashed through the rain, still irritated by it. Jumping on the trees and looking around for trainers. After a few minutes he found one who looked passionate, though there was something off about him. Infernape stood behind the trees and started spying on him. Blond hair and a fedora, it suits him. He seems worried or something.

As Erion continued to move forwards, he was thinking a bit more, not seeing more people around. He breath deeply. As he moves to the gym, he sees that it was actually closed. He stares at it. The gym leader was not there at the moment it seemed. great.... just great.... He looked at the sign, and studies it. Rock types.... meaning Elena's energy ball would work here. Elena smiles slightly.
"I guess we can come back later." Elena then says to Erion, who nods.
"Ya.... even though.... not sure what kind of pokemons he would have... strong ones or...." he says before stopping. He was thinking a bit and though having heard a footstep. He turns, looking around, and shaking his head.
"What is it Erion?" his espuur friend told him.
"Nothing.... just.... nothing....." he says, a bit annoyed. He think a bit as the rain was pouring down still. He shakes his umbrella a bit.
"Let's just head to the forest...." he says, starting to walk, going get a bit of training as well as maybe find some berries and items. He knew money wise he was not going to have a lot of it, so he needed to find a steady income rate..... Apart from beating trainers. He did beat one of them before while moving to get here, but after he gave the money, him and his big yap was talking to Elena and the trainer found out.... God... they had to run just so that guy would not fallow and ask him a million questions.... That was just too annoying. He breath deeply, continuing to move ,thinking.
Infernape continues to examine him, he yawns after not getting any sleep last night. I gotta get some sleep....... Yawning he hops on a different tree and sees one of his Pokemon. He'd ever seen that Pokemon before but it looked different and fascinating. Thinking quite hard, he decides to approach him at the right moment. But wouldn't it be weird if I approach him and he catches me? Wouldn't he approach me first? He shakes his head and peeks out to see what he is doing.

As Erion continue to move, he stops a bit. Elena looked at him. Elena jut looks at him.
"What is it Erion?" Elena ask in her pokemon language. He shakes his head, holding his head a bit. Elena just stares at him as he grown in pain a bit
"Ugh.... i'm.... im ok.... just these headaches...." he then says. Elena sighed at this. Since she met him, he kept having some of those headaches, probably a side effect of that injection. Erion shakes his head a bit, and continue to move.
"Maybe you should try and check that out... I mean... by a scientist or...." Elena then says, before Erion interupts her
"And risk having that guy go and try to get me while I get examined or something? No.... I am fine... I just need to rest a bit..." he says, continuing and getting in the forest. The trees started to protect them from the rain a bit, as some pokemons were playing in the rain a bit, before seeing him walk, and staring a bit. Erion did not look towards them, seeing a berry tree at a distance. He walks to it, and looks at Elena.
"Well... time to gather some berries...." he says. Elena just stares at him. "Don't tell me your gonna climb up there again..." she responds. Erion sighed at this.
"You know I need to keep in form... even in the rain. What does not kill you makes you stronger." he says before then starting to climb the tree, going up and getting on one of the branches, a rather solid one. He picks up some berries.
"You know what to do Elena." he says. He drops the berries as she catches them psychically.
Infernape stares at the boy blankly. He's using his Pokemon as a tool eh. Sighing and watching every move, he gets quite bored and jumps out of the trees. Standing a few few feet away from him, he growls to get his attention. Fighting his Pokemon would be a great experience,.Smirking slightly, he puffs out a breath of fire and looks at him as if he wanted to fight.

Erion stares as he looks at the infernape down on the ground, and then stares at Elena. Elena backed away a bit, unsure."Woah... we don't want to fight...." Elena then says. Erion looked unsure a bit, before feeling as if something was wrong.
"Elena.... I have a bad feeling about this...." he says, before quickly jumping down on the ground, staring at the infernape
"We were just gathering berries.... we do not want any trouble...." he says. A infernape was the last form of chimchar.... so it would be a bad idea to have Elena go and fight him at her strength. She still needed to train up.... but a infernape might be a bit too much for her.

~2 days earlier~
"Let's go!"

"I think we're here!"

You've found my secret. Have a cookie!
Might as well go see what they would be against and find some strategies. .
