((Well, it's not always easy coming back from a break.))
I jumped back as soon as the beasts came form the shadows, and waited for a moment... sure, Yami seemed to be doing alright with his beast, but Aithale... well, let's just say he's really glad he can fly at this point. My beast couldn't seem to find me, or didn't care. "Aithale, lure your beast over to the left a bit!" I shout to Aithale, who nods, and starts flying in the opposite direction. After a little while, all three beasts were lined up, making this the perfect time. I cast a light beam spell, which hits, and then goes through both Aithale's and my beast, and even hit Yami's. Why in the heck can he even create so many fakes of himself? Hm... maybe they're all just shadow spells. As in, if they get attacked, it would be like attacking a magic spell rather than another person. I think as I recall shadow clones, or really any clones never being a part of my curriculum. Maybe he's just not that smart, as it's probably draining him far more than would be normal, or even sane, yeah, that's got to be it.
((Sorry bout being away from here for a few days. Either way, I'd say it's time for a time skip, eh? Just tell me when you guys are ready.))

"We must call for aid! Executor, bring out the Reavers! ... What? What do you mean we don't have reavers anymore? Then... send the Dragoons! ... Ugh, then what do you suggest? ... What's a Void Ray?!" -Tassadar, Savior of the Templar
I panted as I collapsed to the ground, the clones taking ridiculous amounts of energy. I look up as the two Avians managed to kill two other beasts, presumably.
((Lugia, my beast is dead, I think. Can't remember, it's been a while.))
((Uh... hello? Ronin? I'd like you to at least have someone else say how effective that light beam attack was against the beasts... that, and a time-skip I guess.))
((Sorry about my absence. If everybody's ready for a time skip, then let's do it.
I'm gonna have Aiden and Tak meet Aaron near the train station.))
[Tak]
Yesterday, Aiden and I had searched San Altosen for hours, but we didn't find any trace of Iris. We headed back to Necral and arrived the next day.
I sighed as we approached the train station, a somewhat sullen look on my face. "I have to wonder where Iris is, and if she's all right," I said with a worried tone. I raised an eyebrow, as when we arrived at the train station we found police tape, cop cars and other various crime scene tools. "What's going on over there?" I wondered, approaching the scene.

Aaron watched the scene at the station with mild interest. He had left the station late yesterday after he got tired of waiting for Tak and Aiden to arrive. When he had come back here early in the morning he found the place had become a crime scene. He hadn't asked the officers about the scene yet. He stood there watching the scene for a few minutes before he heard a familiar voice. He turned around, searching for the source of the voice. He was starting to think that he imagined the voice before he saw Tak and Aiden arrive. Finally!he thought and he approached the pair. "I was starting to think you were eaten by a monster, what took you so long?" Aaron asked in his usual monotonous voice.
I watched as Aaron approached us, and I rubbed the back of my head. "Took us longer than we thought it would. Sorry about that," I said apologetically. "What happened here?" I asked Aaron, hoping he would know.

Aaron surveyed the scene before answering Tak, "I'm not sure, it was like this when I arrived here this morning." He wondered what would cause a scene like that, perhaps one of the monsters managed to arrive at the city. Maybe the officers were watching out for monsters after he had told them about the attack. He hoped that a monster hadn't attacked but he felt he should tell the others what he thought, "Maybe a monster came from the other city. It would probably be best to ask one of the officers."
