Use your stealth powers to sneak behind them. Try to pickpocket one (Growing up poor you probably learned at least SOME pickpocketing) and hope for some loot. Otherwise.... Umm........ Climb up a tree and try to project your voice as a ghost. I blame you pig!. YOU made the fire.

Once again I flipped a coin to find the action that will be made. FlyingPig won.
You grab the fire and quickly throw it before your hands are horribly burnt, this catches all the shrubbery on fire which distracts and blocks the Careers, BOOM! A cannon fires, it was unlikely a Career. You run and find the same things as everywhere, but find more bird nests left unattended.
Current Conditions: Bad wounds freshly cleaned, dead eye, and burnt hands.
You hide and rest. Then you go back the direction you came to see if there are still any remains of the fight you can use to your advantage.
Both these things happen, first you keep walking, then you head back. On the way back you run into the Careers again, they had been stealthily following you. They run to attack.
Throw the spear in their general direction. Then RUN LIKE LIGHTNING! But not directly away from them. Dash at an angle and weave through trees and shrubbery to try to lose them.

You throw the spear which manages to injure one of them, nothing lethal though. Then you successfully lose them. The area you are now in has plenty of berries growing on bushes, tons of different kinds. That seems to be it though, no trees, but very uneven ground. This could lead to hills, cliffs, and possibly mountains.
Current Conditions: Bad wounds, dead eye, and burnt hands.
There is always that training session before the games begin. Did you spend any of the time in the wilderness survival area that could help with identifying berries? Otherwise pick a bunch of different kinds and smash them together into a paste. Probably at least one will be poisonous. And if you can still find some ice you should smash it for some water to wash your burned hands as well as your wounds.

You identify one of the berry types as being honeysuckle berries. You collect the berries and the leaves, then grab the ones you recognize as poisonous and make a paste. You then wash your burns and wounds. The wounds aren't doing to good and start to bleed again. One or more may have punctured something important. The burns aren't that bad, and the water helps.
Current Conditions: Bad bleeding wounds freshly cleaned, dead eye, and burnt hands that are healing.
No hammer. We lost the spear when we threw it at the career tribute as a distraction/attack. Anyway.... Try to find some leaves. They may work as bandages to stop up the bleeding.

I'll do all these.
You look for more food but don't find anything but more berries, you collect them anyways. Then the anthem plays, It was your fellow tribute from District 3. Finally you collect some leaves for bandages, they work ok but will have to be replaced often. You hide in the bushes and rest for the night.
Later you wake to the hot sun beaming down. It seems like it went from winter to summer overnight, literally.
Current Conditions: Bad wounds (bandaged), dead eye, burnt hands that are healing, thirsty, hungry, and well rested.
Try to make a fake campsite. Make a small pile of a few honeysuckle berries that are poisoned with the paste. If another tribute finds it they may try to eat the berries and die from the poison.

If its night time, hide under a bush and sleep. If its day time still, keep walking.
