I just telehacked to the edge of the world, and jumped off! It brings you to a secret alternate campaign, where you gain the powers of HIM and end up going on a quest to freak out every minecrafter ever! You even gain the power to jump into random people solo games, turn on there video editing equipment, and then edit the video in their computer as it uploads so it looks fake!
Try it now! It's a blast! The storyline gets a little boring at first, but picks up REALLY quickly!
I'm not going to spoil the midgame boss, buuuuuuuuuuuut two words.

How did you beat the boss? Once he's down to half health, the place begins filling with lava and I keep getting set on fire and dying. The lava monsters don't help.
oh that ones easy, you make a platform of obsidian and put a source of water on each corner, it prevents the lava from reaching you and you can just bow it to death to your heart's content (assuming you're talking about the final boss).
Once he's down to about 1/4th health, he gets real dangerous- The lava disappears, but so do all of your items except any God-tier weapons (Excalibur, Slayer, Durendal, Joyeuse, Hrunting) - You can't even use Thor's Hammer, it disappears temporarily as well.
Don't worry though, once you kill him your items reappear. It's just difficult to dodge his attacks at that stage with no items apart from any god-tier weapons you have. He starts shooting creepers out of his hands too, it's bloody deadly. I had to retry that at least 5 times.
Once you kill him, the main chain is over and all that's left to do are uncover the secrets - And there are at least 2 weeks of secrets for you to uncover :wink.gif:.
Wow, can't believe I didn't think of using water. I've got to try that as soon as I get some more god-tier weapons. Thanks!

First Minecraft death was drowning in a frozen lake...Stupid lake -.- Second Minecraft death fell through hole in the Bedrock...seriously wtf is a blue hole doing in the damn floor? >.<
The secret ending is the pigman village 1,000,000 blocks east from spawn. You have to defeat all of them pigmen and collapse their mines. Once done, a screen telling you your score will pop up.
~giggles~ you guys are really amusing XD That said...I just be the creepy looking first boss...how do i find my way to the second? /is lost :sad.gif:
You have to find Lancelot. This part is really long and boring, because he can literally be anywhere. Ask around and you'll hopefully find him in a few hours. He'll ask you to go an a quest, you have to deny him twice, and then accept, or the game glitches (Notch has to fix this sometime). After beating a few monsters and exploring some dungeons, the boss will surprise you and kill Lancelot and two other adventurers accompanying you. This boss is a lot of fun, but I won't spoil the surprise.

Making a video walkthrough of how to start the campaign.
Gimme a little bit. That way people will finally believe us.
No, don't spoil the game for everybody. That would ruin the fun for people who think this is only a sandbox game. [/sarcasm] People will believe us if you show them Howling's Landing, the ruined city right after the Void. The sheer epicness of that place will force them to find it.

I think Lancelot lives in an obsidian house that is attacked by Creeper hordes every night. If you see a rapid spike in Creeper spawning, your in the right area (I do hate Notch for making that part random though, took me a few hours to find). He usually goes out for the day (and he can go anywhere in the seemingly infinite world), so you might have to camp at his front door (its locked until he unlocks it).
Oh, do note that Cartograph doesn't work with the campaign. I've tried. It crashes (and corrupts) your game.
Don't worry, just showing how to start it. Only showing how to build the shrine of entrance, and then how you use the shrine to get to the vault door of epicsauceness.
I don't even ENTER the vault in the video.
That would make my computer explode.
This way everyone can start the campaign on their own. As little spoilers as possible.

ugh, I'm still stuck at the snow-minefield...would the best idea be a diamond shield or creeper repellent?
The shield. At the start (there are 3 parts), its useless because all the mines are the "drop-down with TNT into water" kind. There you need to attract Creepers (find the one snow-covered diamond block and step on it). They will horde across the field, and fall into the mines, while you punch the rest into the pit behind you.
The second part is where the shield comes in handy. Right click (to bring up the shield), and don't let go until you reach the boat. The mines get smart and jump up before exploding. The shield takes all the damage, but can only take ~10 hits or so, so don't be careless. And yes, the mines do instant kill you otherwise.
Once you reach the boat, DO NOT ENTER. Wait until Gunpowder starts raining. Creepers wait for you to enter the boat before dropping down and exploding, but they will die from the lack of oxygen after a minute or so. This is why the Creeper repellent is there. They wont even spawn if you have it, but the prior section is incredibly hard when you can't make 1 mistake.
Once you enter the boat, you must row it to the cotton castle, not the cobblestone one that floods with lava (careful of the Creeper-Shark mutants), where ceiling cat takes you to the next level.
Guys, the bit with the Spider Goddess got me thinking. She's constantly going on about the Pillar at Enux, but it never really becomes relevant in the plot. I'm pretty sure Enux is one of those areas where you can glitch above the sky limit and keep building. But what if it's not actually a glitch there? If you made it up to the Sun, and did it in time to cancel the Solar Festival, I'm pretty sure you could put it out, like the Inner Sun in chapter 8.
Spiders automatically allied in your mesh for the remainder of the game? Somebody try it.
Tsktsktsk... You forgot to pray to the creeper god didn't you? Or did you fall for the preaching prayer.
Everyone knows that in order to pray to the creeper gods you have to load the temple with TNT and blow it to smithereens.
That'll summon an army of creepers. They'll still be hostile to you but it's nonetheless useful.
Diamond armor is relatively weak, but it should be enough at full durability. Run STRAIGHT through the skeleton army. The creepers will run into the skeletons and explode, removing 95% of the skeletons and creepers, pick off the survivors.
Make sure to kill at least one creeper with a skeleton arrow at that point, you'll get the red record. You'll need it when you visit the shrine of Steve the Slime.
Edit: On another note, the video finally uploaded.
Everyone enjoy!

You aren't even close to the ending. Remember when the mummy talked about the great fire wheel, and a literal wheel of fire came at you?
That wasn't the wheel he meant. He meant the SUN. You have to build up to it and put it out with a bucket of water (You need to use the special block he gave you to get out of the map 'limits' once you reach them, however. You can use normal blocks after that). The sun will only go out for a minute, but you will see a key there. Grab it, and when you reach the end game, instead of a boss battle, a good old fashioned switch will happen and you will face someone else, and find out that you were just playing the prologue to the game
I know, it is right near the beginning of the campaign. I only found out by accident (I love glitches)

Ok, so im at the part where you have to defeat the giant skeleton by playing the blue record and hitting him with the lava enchanted diamond sword after you are playing the music. But every time i try to play the blue record i end up falling in the lava because of one of his arrows before i can even put the record in the player. I have tried multiple times but since he stands almost right next to the player i cant seem to make it on such a narrow path.

Bring a jukebox with you. Notch forgot that little loophole
Other than that, well, I have no clue. If he fixes that loophole, then I won't be able to start a new file again without getting stuck there D:
EDIT: Shoot, I just checked on my second playthrough (only exists to help out others, as I'm still not done my extended playthrough). He fixed the loophole
Uh... Maybe a bucket of water? No, wait, right, the lava there turns it to steam, which does 2 hearts worth of damage...

The last bit was vague on entering the vault, so noobs might dislike the video. However, it put the point across. Good job. Also, did you mention that you have to wait in the hole until the cactus grows to its 3 block state (you did mention the glitch, but I cant recall you saying wait).

This is known. Its actually a bug that Notch kept. What you play after that is the demo for the sequel (still under development, but Notch started work on it in the first game). But you are right, the mummy did mean the sun, and getting to the fire wheel is just an illusion of the end (where in the story/plot, you go to the sun instead). It should be found on the MineCraftCampaign wiki.
I haven't gotten to the skeleton part yet. Still trying to get that damn Thor's Hammer (about 3/4 of the way there).
