You suddenly become aware. You are sitting in a rather uncomfortable seat, a harness keeping you locked in place.
In front of you are several displays and controls. Prominently, there are two control sticks, what appears to be a throttle control, a Radar Scope, and a red button surrounded by a clear plexiglass case. The button is surrounded by a yellow-and-black striped plate.
Under the control panels, you can feel three footpedals.
You are also wearing a helmet. in the blast visor, you can clearly see what appears to be a HUD of some sort.
Out of the glass surrounding you, you see a strange, bipedal vehicle.
You decide not to do that. Besides, even if you were to try to smash these controls, it probably wouldn't work.
You do, however, begin feeling the controls and trying to figure out what they do. In your exploration, you accidentally discover the control sticks have triggers.
Accidentally, meaning you accidentally pressed one.
Upon pressing the trigger in, two lances of red light jet out to roughly the position of the crosshair on your HUD. Smoke and sparks emanate from the areas of impact.
I'd already made the image before the last two posts. And this is the last update for tonight.
You fire your Medium Lasers into the 'mech in front of you, and rotate the control sticks to the left, hoping to twist to the source of the other laser.
The first enemy 'mech lashes out with it's lasers, scoring a major hit to your right arm and causing the meter to the right of your target information screen to skyrocket. The air in the cockpit gets significantly hotter. The percentile below the diagram (which apparently shows damage to your various limbs) drops to 60%.
On a hill directly in front of you is a smaller 'mech. You're still locked on to the other 'mech, so you can't get any information on this one's weaponry.
