Jesus christ you guys don't know what irony is. A perfect example is in the first post. Another one is "I hate when people stop doing one task to work on something else, and come back to the first one later. But when I do it on a computer I call it multitasking." .
I say with an air of confidence that my earlier post embodies irony well enough. While a bribe doesn't always entail money, it would still be something of value. Therefore, bribing someone would cancel out the benefit of that person helping for free.
EDIT: And I don't really understand your situation. It sounds more hypocritical than ironic; you're just saying that you don't like it when people do different things at once, then you note that you do it yourself. This isn't really irony.
