I'll register this as a sort of "chance" thing, getting the spear to stick and then pulling it out for more damage requires some luck.
Strider switches to the Spear.
Bokoblin B took 6 damage! (14/20 HP)
Strider pulls out the spear.
Bokoblin B took 2 damage! (12/20 HP)

Seriously, could you please respond, I mean I know we are currently fighting things but seriously in TV series, and especially anime, they always have conversation at the same time as they take down really threatening monsters, and I don't think these small, what even are they? Goblin... monsters, yeah, let's call them goblin monsters, there is probably a word for them but until we meet someone who can tell us what they are actually called they are goblin monsters okay. Anyways these goblin monsters are probably nowhere near dangerous enough to pose a threat to reality, at least not in such small numbers.
well the universe is actualy a frog that exists in a sort of non reality known as the medium that can be acesed through a magical video game of wich the goal is to clone frogs and mix the chemicals used to clone them to create a new universe frog
Well since this pedestal is just like the other one it is probably activated the same way. I mean, it would only make sense.
David: Hm... you have a point.
David holds the Aegis Tablet up to the pedestal. Sure enough, it releases the identical glow to the one on the tower.
AI's Voice: Aegis Tablet authenticated. Access to shrine granted.
The door then promptly opens. Behind them, the small circle is also now glowing blue. But all there is inside is a small room with some sort of large circle inside...
David: That's it? That's the shrine?
Connor: Wow. That's disappointing.
Strider: No. That's not all to it. It's an elevator.
David: A what, now?
Strider: *Sigh* How do you not know about this technology?
Connor: That's something you would, considering you remember all sorts of stuff from various timelines. We've never heard of such stuff.
David: Soooo... just what do we do with this "elevator", anyway?
Strider: Let's just step onto it. It might trigger that way.
When the trio steps onto the elevator, it releases a blue glow, then it starts "sinking into the floor", as David and Connor would call it. Eventually, the party reaches their destination, far underground, and in an artificial environment. Then, a voice speaks, but not the one that's been guiding the trio thus far.
Sacred Voice: To those who boldly set foot into this shrine... I am a monk, who has prepared this trial for you. In the name of the Goddess, I request that you succeed.
Connor: A trial? Didn't we do something like this in the Shrine of Resurrection?
Strider: I'm starting to sense a theme here. These shrines offer trials for us... but why are these trials presented to us?
David: Whatever the reason, I don't think we can go back until we beat this trial. So how do we continue?
Sacred Voice: To begin the trial, please take the rune from the Guidance Stone.
The party sees a pedestal with the same slot identical to the one on the tower. David walks over and puts the Aegis Tablet in the slot.
