(Very Generic) Story:
1) Before the War
Once upon 'before the war' at a time, there was a two powerful nations, known as the Radisians (Red) and the Bluterio Republic (Blue). They are together to live in peace and harmony and sharing its opinions about the colour they're living in. As the diplomacy goes between two powerful nations and also some minor colour nations does really well at the time, there's no disputes for another few decades to come.
As however, the peace between two powerful nations cannot simply last forever. As an unrest was occurred at the Radisian's territories after a few months later. It was happen to be proclaiming itself one of Bluterio's infiltrators after the Radisians has dispatched those rebels in their own territories created by those said infiltrators. At their first glance, it was just a coincidence and trying to sent their diplomats to the Bluterio Republic for some answers about the infiltrators, as was strangely calling themselves Bluterions. As the Radisian's Diplomats has reached to the Bluterion's embassy, the Bluterions rejected any accusation about the infiltrators and thus causing their friendship of the Radisians to be really soured.
Another month passed, the Bluterion's President has been assassinated by an unknown person. With the Bluterion's people terribly outraged by his death, many of their people are calling Radisians, the enemy, the hate, the savage of the blues. Public outcry has arise in the Bluterion's streets & roads, and the newly elected Bluterion's President has sent its letter to the Radisians by accusation them in the act of war.
The Radisians are also outraged by the letter that has been sent by the Bluterions by accusing Radisian's own people as primitive warmongers. As the two nations has soured its reputation for a long time with no end, both nations has declaring war on each other and thus sparked the Great Colour War.
2) Great Colour War
[A Map before GCW1]
Both powerful nations at the start of the war are trying to gather as many colour nation allies as possible in order to defeat their large enemy in tactical numbers. The Western Republic Alliance (WRA) from the west created by the Bluterions has the allies of Pertiples, Brownia Monarchy and Cylian Minors. From the east, The Radisians Coalition Forces (TRCF) formed by the Radisians has the allies of Pinkish and some from the Brownia's Separators.
In a spring of the first day, the Bluterions has launched their first assault at the Radisian's Border, sending 100 thousands of men, 20 thousands of vehicles and 5 thousands of artillery pieces to the front-line. As Radisians responded to their attack, they sent a coalition of 50 thousands men, 30 thousands of vehicles, 5 hundreds of aircraft and 12 thousands of artillery pieces to defend their territories.
Both of the alliances fought very vigorously at the iconic historical battles, like the "Siege of Magentaja", "Battle of Reinshall River" and the "Battle of Redisline". However, despite the Radisians are trying their best to stop the Bluterion's Army from advancing. Eventually, they lost a large chunk of the Radisian's territories to the Bluterions, and thus forcing the Radisians Coalition Forces to retreat to the nearest river while trying to set some defenses & blockages to prevent the Bluterions from advancing further into Radisian's own homeland.
At the Brownia's Territory, both of them are pressing in small numbers. But, they do not achieve, nor gain any ground at the moment while losing some men from both sides due to outdated arsenal and poor military tactics.
Lastly, at the national of Pinkish, they're going quite well in their first offensive at the "Battle of Brub-Harbor" and thus successfully gained some territories from the Bluterions. Since the Bluterions cannot reinforcing their outlying territories due to the lack of navy, and cannot crossing through without giving permission to the Greens.
3) Present Time.
[Current War]
After several months later, Radisians defensive & counteroffensive strategies has failed to stop the Bluterion's new tactic that has been created a few months ago, known as the Blitzkrieg. Planned by the Pertiples, in which an ally of the Bluterions, are almost reaching their foothold to the Radisian's capital territory with their final assault. The Radisians are very desperate to forge a new army out from their own people to fight in their very last defensive strongholds before their entire nation collapsed by the might of the Bluterion's Western Alliance.
However, the Radisian's ultimate defeats has finally shines its light. A new commanding hero (aka you), has been recruited under the oath of the Radisians to push back the Bluterions, and hopefully return its former territories back to their original owners. But, if their new officer has failed to stop the Bluterions, it would be the end of the Radisians history.
Welcome to Colour Commander's Story. A game much like a drawing adventure game. You'll played as the new unknown officer of the Radisians, and it's your duty to restore Radisian's former territories by the Bluterions.
As the game progresses, you'll find more unusual plots that are more than just a petty war between Red vs Blue.
Chapter 1: Surrounded
You are now arrived at the war-torn forward HQ at Fort Radisia. Inside of that forward HQ, you have met a red officer and a red soldier, saluting you upon arrival. It's seems that the map was almost dominated by the Bluterions, fearing that they're about to win in the Great Colour War.
Your first order by the Red High Command is to stop the Bluterions from rushing through Fort Radisia.
We gotta build a wall. And trenchs. And a moat while we're at it.
The logical thing to do is see how our forces match up against theirs. Anyone would want to know what kind of firepower we and the enemy is packing.
You giving your idea about emphasis on erecting defenses.
"That was a good plan, captain. However, we do not have enough time to create all of those defenses before the Bluterions came to screw us over. Maybe choosing one of your defense ideas, perhaps?" - Red Officer.
"Since of our losses many times in battle, most of our troops now are really new to war. Which's means that our army is basically conscripted in desperation to stop the Bluterion's Invasion, and thus terribly inferior to our enemies. However for some luck, we do have some big guns and a lot of vehicles lying around at our fort we could use.
Anyway, here is our intel reports.
The Bluterions are coming along with some armored vehicles with howitzers at the front, and at the right flank. At the left flank, we're facing Bluterion's ally, Pertiples, has the Veteran Company consists of small infantry group, snipers and slow assault guns. Facing the Bluterions aren't much of a deal, but you must carefully watch the Pertiple's Veteran Forces because its army are very well trained compare to any other colour nations. I don't know who's commanded those purples, but he's a tough one." - Red Officer.
You have decided to use a wall construction plan to slow the enemy down instead of other two construction plans.
The Red Officer has responded and said:
"Yes Captain! The defensive wall it is! We will assign many of our troops in duty for heavy construction work immediately before those Bluterions will arrive with a full force!"
From the outside, many of red recruits are doing really hard as they could to create a wall. Some of the lucky ones are in guard duty to overlook a defensive project with their guns equipped.
MEANWHILE
Somewhere at the cliff, distance away from Fort Redisia,
"Hmm, very generic, and very uncanny reds. What are they trying to accomplish here?
A wall? Seriously? Their best defensive tactics they ever came up with it?
Ahahahahahahaha!" - Blue Officer (Name: ???)
"What would have thought that the Radisians are desperately wanted to make more defenses? Since, their defensive strategy are so lousy and simple like the last few weeks ago. They even doesn't know that our Pertiple ally has the things we need to break their puny wall easily." - Blue Officer (Name: ???)
"PRIVATE! You are now on carrier duty! I want you to message P.V Company on sending the Assault Guns to the front, Pronto!" - Blue Officer (Name: ???)
"Yes si-" - Blue Private
"Wait! Before you go, private! Make sure that their fort must be captured before our army are terribly exhausted on supplies! It's seems that our supply lines are over-extended, and doesn't last very long. So, make it hasty, now!" - Blue Officer (Name: ???)
"Yes sir lieutenant sir!" - Blue Private.
(Hint: Think outside of the box, you don't even need to sit inside of a forward HQ forever. You can ask many questions to the red officer if you wanted to know more.)
I ask the officer if we have any secondary or rear defences. Then I ask if we have any anti-vehicle or sniper measures.
You have asked some questions about the current defenses, and a way to counter their vehicles & snipers.
"Well.. We do have another wall ready, the inner one, since this place is literally a fort and not for some made up city name. We also have tank traps in certain choke-points to slow many of our enemy armors. And, we have a boxes full of mines that are still readying to place it.
In another word, we just have a normal outer and inner defenses that spreads equally around our fort, captain.
Oh, if we ever facing enemy armors and vehicles, we do have some 90mm AT guns readying at our fort. Only we need is to push them somewhere so they can shoot something metallic at our way. As however, our 90mm AT guns do not have a gun shield due to our economy getting really low since this horrific Great Colour War, and thus our gun crew would die faster from explosions and shizzles. So, you should recommended to set those guns in an ambush if you want to preserve those AT guns in the future.
If you don't know, we also have mortars and R. Gol.20 light tanks at our disposal. R. Gol.20 light tanks will shred any infantry and light skinned vehicles if they're stupid enough to fight head on thanks to its 2cm auto-cannon. But its 2cm cannon cannot dent any regular tanks anyway, so use it wisely. Mortars are simply mortars, doesn't need to further explaining on how this one works.
We also have a few stolen Blue's weaponry. But I'm doubt their weapons are doing anything better than our weapons.
Last answer. For sniper problems, we have some sniper rifles at our disposal as well. But our troops are too new in the war and thus won't be a best idea to fight a sniper by fire with fire. Maybe you could figuring out a way how to stop them?"
Do we have any intelligence on what the Blues are sending? if it's a more mobile force I'd probably recommend a defensive strategy but a more infantry-led force, i could see us taking the offensive pretty quickly.
"Ehhh.. Well.. I'm not a good predictor.. But, I will tell you what I should know about the enemy at least, based on my visions and some help from the recon team." - Red Officer
"Let us look at our current battlefield, alright?
Tank traps here, roads there and some other places.
At the left flank, here, are going to face 4th Blue's Infantry Division. Well, despite they're purely just soldiers with any handheld weapons, it's still have some vehicle support to protect them. Unfortunately, we doesn't know what kind of vehicles they're bringing into the fight as it appears to be hiding in dense bushes and hedges before the invasion. Our recon team cannot bypass their large active patrols to find its vehicle's true specifications. But, we have managed to locate an enemy howitzer's nests on that hill.
Front our front, we also facing Blue's 5th Mechanized Division. Obviously knowing from our last battle, which is horribly failed to stop them, they have some armored vehicles, troop transports, and there was another howitzer nests somewhere at the hill reported by our recon team, in which I have marked somewhere at the middle for now.
To the right, we have an enemy ally, Pertiples, or you can just call them Purples. Just like my last intel report that I have given to you several minutes ago, they definitely have Assault Guns, or you can call them heavy armored tank with big guns. Then, they have snipers and more infantries there."
- Red Officer
"From my observation, they will fire an artillery strike on our outer wall first to soften it up. Then, they will send the mechanized division to spearheaded at the front of an already weakened wall. But since there's some tank traps we have been setting up, they will mostly fought by foot or they're trying to destroy it in order to push forward. They also sent some aid from the Pertiples if anything goes wrong. From the left, the Infantry Division will rush up and claw the wall with a full force, in hoping to decimated our troop's morale in large numbers.
The good news is that we will get reinforcement from the south, and thus possibly will succeed in this battle.
But for a bad news, I'm fearing that they're trying to blockade our reinforcements and supplies from our back roads with snipers and concealed guns. Thus, If we can't remedy this situation from the Pertiple's ambush attack at that road, we wouldn't have a large supplies and men to even fight back at the Blue's invasion force.
That's all I could know from this current situation, captain. Any thoughts, captain?"
- Red Officer
MEANWHILE
Somewhere at the Pertiple's forward camp.
"What? What do you mean you're out of supplies at N2.0.3? It supposed to be plenty, 50% remains! How could your division using that much supplies, in just one day? It's impossible to deplete that quickly! I demand the true reasons why you have depleted the supplies, no stupid accusations asked!" - Purple Soldier (Talking on a radio)
*SWOOSHED*
"An- Huh?" - Purple Soldier (Being surprised at the Blue Soldier)
"Move away! I have an urgent message to your commander! Now move or I'll call you simpletons!" - Blue Soldier
"He-HEY! Wait! You calling us simpletons?!" - Purple Soldier
*The Blue Soldier has rushed away*
"... ... .. Stupid annoying daft! I will get him, after this war!" - Purple Soldier
*At the inner tent room, lies with a purple commander.*
"Commander of the Purples, the Lieutenant has an urgent message to you, sir!" - Blue Soldier
"Eghh, what did the blue lieutenant said, this time?" - P. Commander (Name: ???)
*The Blue Soldier gave him a message report*
"So, you're telling me that I have to send down my juggernauts, to crush their simple walls? Ahahaha.. Not going to happen." - P. Commander (Name: ???)
"Sir? If you don't follow the blue's order, your home country will not going to be independent. So, it's your choice commander. Help us and return your nation unharmed, OR, you'll lose your home and get killed by us? Not a brightest plan to become one of those traitors like the Brownia's separatists, yes?" - Blue Soldier
"Hmmmm.. Fine! I will send my juggernauts as the blue's requested, and I was hoping you that for my home nation to become independent and puppet-less as I wanted to have. Understood?" - P. Commander (Name: ???)
"Good choice, Sir... Good choice." - Blue Soldier.

What's the situation of the browns and the separatists? Maybe we could get one or both of them as allies to cut the blues near us off from their supplies.
Let's pretend that the Purple's WILL ambush the relief. What if they came from a different direction? Or waited for the Purples to advance first? They could catch them off guard and hurt their morale.
((I love the artwork by the way, simple and effective))
Red Player Meritania - *looks intently and stress-fully at the reports and the map* I would be tempted to use our light tanks in hit and run attack against the IVth Infantry, especially as they are exposed out there. However while it would be a tactical success, I doubt it would help us strategically. The main road to the east is what we need to claim sovereignty over for our vital reinforcement. Suppressive mortar fire might keep them away the purples away from the road.
I elect that we start to deploy mines on the north road, there is very little we can do to operate in that direction.
You have elaborating a plan on countering Infantry Division IV and the purple's blockade.
"For the mines, we will start planting at the front road now, as ordered.
In the meantime, do you want to execute your current plan at the west with light tanks, and a mortar barrage pointed at the purples, captain? Well.. I'm still skeptical about Blue's infantry division weaponry, and may have a chance to destroy at least few of our tanks before our tanks can safely driving out of its harm way. And for the purples might already have dug in somewhere near to the road."
What's the situation of the browns and the separatists? Maybe we could get one or both of them as allies to cut the blues near us off from their supplies.
"I don't think we could gain any support from either Brown sides right on that kind of situation, captain. Even worst, the Brownia Monarchs are allying with the Blues, and thus it's going to be very difficult or even impossible to persuade them to join our side because they're about to win anyway. So, asking them for alliance is like begging them not to annihilating us while giving them so-called demands.
However, we do have an ally from the Browns, but not always intentionally, known as the separatists. They hated the King's rule and thus wanted to change a new nation's identity as the new Republic. Unfortunately, we also cannot get any help from the separatists as well, because they do not have enough manpower to push the Monarchs and thus they need everything, I literally means everything, to fight back. They do this for their own protection and not going to help us anytime soon in the future."
Let's pretend that the Purple's WILL ambush the relief. What if they came from a different direction? Or waited for the Purples to advance first? They could catch them off guard and hurt their morale.
"Hmm, if that so for my idea, then we're facing the most annoying kind of tactic, the unconventional warfare. Still, it's up to you on how to deal the Purples by either fighting in different direction, or even wait for them to come. Hoping to decimate their morale."
Captain Meritania - I think we'll hold back on the tank assault. There is no reason to break that stalemate right now, the immediate concern is those purples and our reinforcements. We will have to move those field fortifications if our road transports are to get through, it's the heavy vehicles we need to counter that mechanised division. Going around could potentially damage the vehicles or slow them down enough to become targets.
I think we need to mortar the area of the road and hopefully flush them out of their positions, and remind them that the road is ours. How I wish we still had air support...
"I wish so too captain, but the Blues has taken every last of our airfields since of this war. This is going to be a difficult battle without air support.
So, we should start peppering some purples and hoping that they cannot gain any foothold on our back road and eradicating our reinforcements? We will start on this operation once you have finalising your strategy."
How's our relations with Gray and Orange? Perhaps we can use their troops and supplies in return for land or whatever they want.
"Well, we have tried to get those Greytons and Oranges to join our side before the war, but with no success. They do not want to get involved in the Great Colour War, and even never wanted to waste their resources for fighting either. As since we're losing some grounds at the moment, it would be very difficult to get them to join our side in the war because we're losing all the way, as for now. No further helpers wanted to help the losing team, which's sad." - Red Officer
EVENT!
The Blues are readying their invasion soon. Many of them are really feeling trigger-itchy, further accelerated by the lack of supplies and also all of their forces are about to rush in soon.
"All right men! Prepare your weapons! We're going to barge into their doors once our officer blows its whistle! Don't go too early! And remember, potshots every reds you see and if they're trying to surrender, then don't shoot at them. Understand?!"
Note: Since the battle has started, it's going to be a long one as I need to draw a lot of scenes, and thus I can't update this game today. So it has been delayed and will updating it tomorrow. Thanks.
Captain Meritania - "Phone the reinforcements, we need them in Operational Area as immediate as possible"
"Yes sir! I'll go to the communication room for radio transmitting!" - Red Officer
*After a Red Officer has dashed his way into the communication room, he has asked a signaler to call down some reinforcements as soon as possible.*
"This is Forward Command C.. I'll repeat, this is Forward Command C, calling to High Command! We need reinforcements at the Fort.. Repeating! We need reinforcements at the Fort, over! Can you hear me?" - Red Signaler
"The High Command is loud and clear, what's seems to be the problem and why do-zzz- want to -zzZzz- reinforcements?" - Red HC on a radio.
*Signaler is going to pitch the frequency level to keep up with the call*
"We have an invasion forces all over our defensive perimeter and pounding us hard with artillery!" - Red Signaler
"Wha--Zzz again?" - Red HC on a radio.
*Slightly tuning the radio frequency*
"I'll repeat again. We have an invasion forces all over our defensive perimeter! They're firing artillery barrages onto our base, over!" - Red Signaler
"Permission for more reinforcements has granted! Hold onto your positions, we will sending down some armor company to aid in your defense." - Red HC on a radio
"What time sir?!" - Red Signaler
"E.T.A -BZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....- Final Red HC on a radio before their battery power has dried its external charges.
"Time estimation of what? High Command? Hello?! Ugh! Our external power has died. We won't be able engage long range communications until it has been recharged." - Red Signaler
"Well, at least we have a good news. Soldier, Maintain the radio and get this external power recharge fast! We need to get an update on another defensive positions other than just communicating with our high command! "
- Red Officer
"Yes sir!" - Red Signaler
*Red Officer are rushing back to the tactical room*
"Captain! We have a great news! The High Command are sending us some tanks to support.. or, maybe armored vehicles at least. However, the time of arrival are unknown due to the radio's battery has dried up."
- Red Officer
MEANWHILE
At the hill.
"Keep bombarding! Let no red defenses ever going to stop us!" - Blue Artillery Officer
*Whooosh! KABOOM! KAPOW! BOOM!*
At Purple's Front
Since the reds are going to saturate purple's positions with mortars, many of them are separated into small groups and attempts to counterattack at the reds with snipers.
"Bloody hell! How many stinking 'bombspams' are there?" - Purple Soldier
"Shut up! I'm concentrating you twit! And keep your fleshy body down, OK?" - Purple Sniper
"There he is.. Hehehehe.. Just moving a little to the left... And..." - Purple Sniper
*BOOOM! Headshot!*
Then suddenly, sniping montage!
*Get rekt gg no re*
"Goodness grief, it's getting worst captain. The purple snipers are picking us one by one and our base is being pounded by continuous artillery strike! Any other plans, captain?" - Red Officer
(Bonus: There are two easter eggs in one of those pictures, can you find it?)

I guess we'll build the wall.

((Wait, do you join as blue, or as red? The story started as the reds being the protagonists.))
