Full credit for the game goes to the incredible Gecko9999. It all started one boring day on the Paleocraft Thread. Everyone was bored. Boredom. Boring things. And then along came Gecko9999, with an incredible idea for a game to pass the time... Although it didn't really have a name. But the general premise was that one user posted three clues which alluded to a prehistoric creature, and then the other users on the thread posted what they believed the creature was. Each person could guess one time before their answer is dismissed, and then they can guess one more time until that answer is dismissed, and so on. The first person to answer correctly is informed of their correctness and then they become the clue-giver. Here's an example:
Clues:
1. This creature is widely believed to have had a feather coating.
2. A crest on the head is this creature's most well known physical trait.
3. When this creature was first found it was thought to be an Egg Thief
Guesses:
Tyrannosaurus!
Andrewsarchus!
Coelophysis!
Pikaia!
Oviraptor!
First User's Confirmation:
Oviraptor is correct! You are now the Clue Giver!
(Repeat Process)
Well, first person to post can be the Clue Giver. Thanks again to Gecko9999 for inventing this incredible game!
Well, I found your other forum (Prehistoric Kingdom)! But in case this riddle's there, I'm not going to read through it.
I'm going to guess not a Mesozoic creature... But there aren't many other carnivores that tall. Plus, it has to be two legged. That eliminates Procoptodon and most Terror Birds. Further investigation my have lead me to believe it was Arctodus, but that has too many claws, I'll wager. Dinornis was the right size but no claws let alone wings... perhaps a rare genetic mutation? I don't know, that's my best answer. I can't find anything else.
Also, I've changed the rules to fit the rules on the Paleocraft thread more: one guess per person per post and one post per person prior to said guess being eliminated.
So now we have incorrect information and correct information, and in order to find out what the creature is we must first determine what is right and what is wrong? I understand why you said it was hard....

Also, here's the leader board:
Commandosaur: 4
Dinocraft: 2
Taylorsaur: 1
Jetsnake: 1
We literally have the same sort of game in another forum!
Oh... Which one?
Guess the Dinosaur:
Will you let me start?
Of course!
Difficulty: Hard
This massive predator stood 12 feet tall with one virtually useless claw on each arm
Suchomimus?
Shuuvuia or Mononykus? They're the only dinosaurs I know that have 1 claw on each hand

nope but it is a cenozoic
I've got to go with the Cave Bears, then. But I'm guessing they have more than one claw per hand and that they used them often...
No I said virtually USELESS
I can't find anything 12 ft tall with a virtually useless claw, after extensive research.
Want a clue? Two peices of information are incorrect
I'm afraid I don't understand that clue... Are you implying that the previous information was incorrect?
yes
So now we have incorrect information and correct information, and in order to find out what the creature is we must first determine what is right and what is wrong? I understand why you said it was hard....
