Watch, someone will FINALLY figure out, then make a Thunder Yellow... WHERE YOU CAN FINALLY "almost" catch them all... Your decisions will make what Legendary pokemon you will meet... And at the fact that... You can catch Snivy in the wild... Though, I think Ash got a Mudkip from the wild... uh-oh...
Well, I don't think I'd buy that one...don't like the idea of starting out with Pikachu...at least not anymore, I liked it when I was 7...but now...meh.
Actually, a sort of 'Thunder Yellow' version could come about if they ever decide to make a DS/3DS/Whateverthehelltheyhavenext remake of the Kanto series like they did with Crystal. It would pretty much be a spruced up Fire-Red/Leaf-Green version.
Also, for a strategy. Get an Umbreon. Get Defense up. You. Will. Be. Invulnerable.
Yeah, I don't really wanna start out with a Pikachu, either. And the thought of catching 650 Pokemon doesn't really appeal to me, though it would help out considerably in coming up with a whole bunch of different teams. Did they make a remake of Crystal?
Yes! Umbreon = Defensive Wall.
Anybody like using Tentacruels and spamming Barrier? I, for one, do. Haha.
Eh. Blissey is a super Special wall, yes. But it lacks a lot in Attack and Defense. Those are some key things missing, for me anyways. Though I must admit, they're still annoying as all get out to fight.
Though, the thing that can change of that one pikachu (And just that one, the starter one...) is that its Attack and Special Attack stats should swap...

If they did that, dude, I'd be all for it! Personally, I think they should've done that forever ago, anyways.
That would make almost no difference, after all, it's attack is 55 and its special attack is 50...so yeah, basically no difference, plus, what if you wanted to use Volt Tackle?
And back to the Pikachu thing... yeah, we got pwned. Hahaha. It just seems like a bigger difference when you're playing, I guess, since you never use Attack stuff with a Pikachu. And I forgot about the whole physical and special attack stuff that was introduced. That would also play a key role.

Hertgold and Soulsilver are a remake of Crystal, it uses the Crystal story line of Suicune and lets you go to Kanto. I'm fairly sure that Gold and Silver never had Kanto...
Also, my Wigglytuff from Fire-Red tears through Blisseys! Huzzah for absolute annihilation!
Ahh, that sucks you never finished your Silver. =/
Anywho, has anyone else noticed that the dude who gets you to follow him to Pewter City's Gym in Gen I keeps walking to the right after he takes you to the Gym, seemingly through the fence? Can you guys think of any other sorts of errors in Pokemon games?
oh, please...you think that's weird? your rival in that game walks through a gym, a fence, and even trees after you beat him in Cerulean city...wait...that's how he's always ahead, that little nit cheats using noclip!
also...an 'M block that leveled up to 100 after getting 0exp, changed into a Rhydon, and is now leveling up...it's currently level 145, I think.
You should unscrew the case and put in a new battery. It won't restore your old save, but it will allow you to save in the future.
I honestly wouldn't be able to even if I tried, Past-Me knew nothing of the trick, and both Past and Present-Me have a nasty habit of losing things we don't use... At least I've played through Crystal on an emulator... Although I might try that trick on my old copy of Blue if I have the chance. My brother had caught a MissingNo and it stuffed up the saving years ago.

And yeah, Kanto was in all three of those games (Gold, Silver, Crystal).

*burp*
Huh, what?
*Clears throat*
May I have that lovely portrait of the elusive cookie Pokémon, Oreon, kind sir?

I'll be damned, could've sworn otherwise. Ah well, past-me never got to Kanto before his Silver malfunctioned and stopped saving... Poor Typhlosion...

Alas poor Typhlosion, I knew thee well...
