I firmly stand on the belief that Xbox ONE is just a tracking tool and shouldn't even be messed with, and that PS4 is hardly an improvement from the previous systems. However, PS4 will be getting some good games (And has pulled a few great game devs), so I'd have to say it's the better of the two.

I can foresee a flame war about to break out. Anyhow, since I also have an opinion on this topic, I am going to say PS4. Because it is ~100$ cheaper than Xbox One, has a ~500 Gigaflops faster graphics processing power, and of course, sleek and elegant new design. Xbox One didn't manage to earn my like because Microsoft seemed like they wanted to make a multiproduct that will be a little bit of everything - Television, Computer, Gaming Console. These cheap tricks won't work on me. I just want one thing. A gaming console. Not a multitool. And Sony, making the booting up times of the new PS literally equal to zero, has a simple clear group goal - gamers.

I heard a LOT of talk about the Xbox One being crap, but I'm not too sure. I was never an Xbox fangirl, I always prefered Playstation. I would play the PS2 when I was little and I got the PS3, like two Christmas' ago. I never had a Playstation Portable or Vita, just a PS2 and a PS3. I really want to try out the PS4 myself, so thats what I want ^^
Even though Microsoft reversed the DRM policies, honestly I cannot trust them anymore. First, a new Operating System that is way too unfriendly for gamers to use, now a console that features over the top quality DRMs. And the funny part is that, when Microsoft was asked to remove the DRM policies, they stated that they cannot remove them due to the console having been built on them. And suddenly, they realised that they would totally fail, and out of thin air, they removed every bit of it within a single night. Is there someone who can guarantee me that M$ will keep it like that, and won't intergrate them back into the future, probably with a slower pace? No. And Redmond isn't an answer.

Wii U first, then PS4. Xbox, your price is a bit too high for me and I don't care for Kinect (maybe release a version minus Kinect?)

Hey, guys. Quote me if you want me to respond. Otherwise I'll have no idea what the hell you want with me.

I'm totally on the fence between the two. A lot of it has to do with exclusives. I really want Infamous: Second Son on the PS4 but I also really want Titanfall and Dead Rising 3 on the Xbox One... It's a very tough decision for me. I'm probably going to wait for the consoles to release and see what people say about them. I'm also going to have to get a Wii U at some point for the new Super Smash Bros. and eventually when it comes out the new Zelda game.
You have to keep in mind that microsoft is a business. They want money just like sony. Sony wanted to do a DRM too. http://ps4daily.com/...ox-one-outrage/ that is writen by a ps4 site.
Its not like sony and microsoft hate their costumers and that you shoulnt trust them, microsoft and sony will always push the limits of the costumers if you like it or not. They are a business after all and they exsist to make a profit.
There is no guarantee that microsoft wont add in a DRM after a time, but the same thing can be said against sony.

I agree, but saying "you can't trust Sony either" is not an excuse to trust Microsoft.

Here's my take on it:
Talk about what console will be getting your money (if you even get a next gen console), and the things you have an issue with on both sides.

Pretty sure they both hate their customers.

You're right. It's a reason to not pay either of them.
Exactly.
