Would you be willing to do a Youtube background? As much as I hate the new design it looks like I'm eventually going to have to change to it and I could do with a new background anyways. Those wallpapers are pretty epic though :tongue.gif:
Warning: Huge image!
Tell me if you want me to change anything
Also if you really like it maybe you could maybe think about mentioning me in one of your videos?
Thanks man that's perfect! Only problem is the resolution isn't the right size for Youtube so if it's not too much trouble could you maybe try change it to around 1300 x 2000? I'm not sure if that'll work perfectly but if you go to my channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/NerdFish1/featured)
then you'll probably be able to get a better idea of exactly what size it should be :smile.gif:
And I'll definitely mention you in a video, I'll link this thread aswell :smile.gif:
Good way to get some experience under your belt, are you using Photoshop?
If you do, try messing with the Hue/Saturation and Photo Filter settings on the individual layers, also dont be afraid to use 95% opacity instead of 100%, it helps blend them in with the background better.
Additionally, a quick way to cheat is duplicate the layer, and give the one behind it a slight gaussian blur, just enough to remove any pixely/sharp edges.
Thank you for the tips, I will definitely be using some of those on my next ones. I have Photoshop Elements 8, but I will have Photoshop CS5 very soon.
No problemo, one of the most common flaws (not meant derogatory) you see with beginners is that things just *stick* out, they look unnatural and totally out of place.
There are various methods to blend them in better, from masks, to simple hightlight/shadow effects, the hue/saturation or photo filter trick, or even just giving it a color or gradiant overlay at a very low opacity, if you got that step nailed down any and all resulting future works will be appreciated so much more.
I cant recall the actual name for it, and using ''blending'' as keyword for tutorials gives me other options, try Composition perhaps, it incorporates the same design using multiple layers and trying to make it seem natural. (such as photo compilations or even MOVIE posters, you might've seen the same picture/person with different backgrounds but it doesn't stand out)
I've noticed that my pictures really stuck out, but I didn't know how to fix it really. Thanks for the tip.
Also, I completely redid your background, Nerdfish.
Do you think you could make a YouTube background for me? (I am using the new profile)
Signature or wallpaper: YouTube background.
What size: I'm not really sure what size. Maybe you know? If not, try 1300x2000.
Images you want on it: *
Text you want on it: senki614
Color scheme: *
Font: *
*I don't really have any specifications for the background, besides the size and that it says Senki614. I just kinda want something that looks epic. So maybe this can be a time for you to just mess around and make something that looks cool.

Just one thing, what is your channel's theme exactly?
I would like to start making FREE art/graphics for people, and I thought that this would be a good way to start.

Oh, and I don't want anything complex in it. Just go as simple, minimal and clean as you can.
EDIT: Oops, didn't notice the [AWAY]. It's okay, not like it's a high-priority wallpaper.

My channel doesn't really have a theme right now..it was supposed to be Minecraft but never ended up that way..it's just kinda nothing right now.
I don't really know how I would include all the colors without anything somewhat complicated.
You could include the colors in some ways, say like black-grey gradient in the background and blue flow lines, or something.
That is, I'm just giving choices, you can use all of them or just partially.
EDIT: If you can't think of anything, try typography.
