This is a song I'm working on, I have yet to put vocals on it, but it wont be long till it's finished :smile.gif:
Sabotage Remix: http://soundcloud.com/will-kirk/sabotage-the-beastie-boys
This is a remix of the famous Beastie Boys song, Sabotage. For some reason i had trouble posting the final version, so some of the sound levels seem to be a bit wrong. :/
(Note- the noise in the drop is my friend imitating getting disintegrated)
Hahaha, those are really cool! The first one sounds like a remix of Daft Punk's "Stronger." The second one is pure minecraft epicness.
That's because I tried to recreate the voice from "Stronger" to the best of my abilities without actually recording any vocals. I used an old Atari formant speech synthesizer called "STSpeech," then I sidechained a boosted saw into a vocodex effect to control a carrier. I went with 50 bands and tried to maximize the audibility of the sound, I used slicex to precisely time the speech (to little avail, unfortunately...) But I'm sure Daft Punk just recorded a voicebox filter directly while playing the notes on a Korg. Of course, my knowledge of digital synthesis is limited and my experience with it spans all of the past few months, it's difficult for me to make nice modular basslines currently but I'm trying to learn it. I don't use Massive either, by the way, I see at as completely unnecessary.
Anyway currently the only thing I'm working on that I may some point release is this- http://dl.dropbox.com/u/27100634/Harder chip sounds.mp3
and that's just because I like the sound of the harder chips in the second part. I'm very much a novice at this, though...
Links can be Soundcloud, Youtube or anything else where we can listen to it :biggrin.gif:

Show me what you have! :biggrin.gif:
I compose my own music. Mainly Electronic music like Dubstep, Drum and Bass, etc...
I made one of my recent songs with minecraft in mind :wink.gif: http://soundcloud.com/timerclock14/zombies
Haha :biggrin.gif: that's awesome :biggrin.gif: I'm assuming you have massive? also what DAW do you use?
Nah, I can't afford Massive yet. I use FL 10 and all my synths are made with Sytrus or 3xOsc.
