Actually, I lied, I do have a couple things I can tell you, haha.
This just comes from my experience of playing guitar
I noticed that at some parts you were kind of stumbling through. It helps to learn the chords first, and play along with the song so you remember the chords. Then once you have the chords down, you'll be able to sing the song without having to look down at the fret board.
Also, a capo can be one your best friends, if you're having trouble singing in one key, use a capo and try singing in another key. I know that there are a lot of songs that I can't sing well in the key that it's originally in. I believe that everyone can be good at singing, it's just a matter of singing in the right key. Find your own voice.
And to keep from losing your breath when you're sing, try to pick up on when the singer is taking their breathes, actively listen to the music and pick up on those subtle things.
i like your kinda criticism, you site where i was right and wrong, not just wrong :wink.gif:
il try that, when i try singing in a paulish tone i cant...so i tried going up higher
edit: when i was looking at the fret board i knew the chords but they didn't sound right cause the guitar was out of tune...though i must admit i probably didn't know em enough

Not a problem, and that's another thing, make sure your guitar is in tune haha. And maybe instead of learning a new song, work on this one then reupload it, it's always good to see how you progress. Always try to be better, don't be satisfied with "good enough"
darn i was really looking forward to in spite of all the danger :tongue.gif:
so, you think i should try again?
Yeah, I think you should, and I wasn't saying you can't learn another song. Let me ask, are you satisfied with how you did on Eleanor Rigby? If you're satisfied with it, then learn another song, and if you're not, keep practicing. Think quality and not quantity, it's cliche, but I think it's true. And are you just starting out? If you are, the learning processes with get shorter the longer you play.

yeah i think i should do it again for 2 reasons:
1. cause i think i could work out a little better tone for the vocals
2. cause i need to "make show" (any suggestions on that?)
Thats really good that you know what you have to work on.
And pardon me, but i'm not quite sure I know what you mean by "make show"
do you notice my "concentration face"? well lets face it, it looks really sucky so i wanna get rid of that plus i think i seem very..bored..but i guess you only need to make a show at a concert :tongue.gif:
working on vocals is going well and i only looked at fret board once :biggrin.gif:

That's good, and for me, I think presentation does matters. Whenever I see someone singing in front of a webcam, I'm automatically turned off, I never think it's going to be good, therefore, i don't watch it. But that's just me, other people may be different. And as for the faces you make while playing, that happen, a lot of musicians I listen to make faces when they play. And when you're playing, you should be relaxed, playing music shouldn't be a difficult thing to do after you get started.
Have you ever watched a video of someone playing a really awesome guitar solo and thought, "man, he makes it look so easy"? I think the reason guitar players make it look easy is because they're relaxed.
Haha, you don't have to make a "show" show. One thing I noticed is that the camera looks like it's pointing down on you. I think you should at least try to get the camera to be pointing straight at you, it looks better in my opinion.
And I will be honest with you, as of now, your voice isn't great. But if people do comment saying that you're not good, don't let it get to you, just keep practicing. As you get older, you're voice will mature.
also its more of an eleanor rigby not good i hope :tongue.gif:
cause i uploaded it again and i did 2 songs...i hope to god my second song is ok...cause i love that song
also, i hope by next year il be singing better then ever :tongue.gif:
(still uploading, will take 12 mins)
and im ok with my voice not being great...as long as its ok
Haha, your voice is ok, it's just that there are a few parts that you're singing out of key and I don't think it's that your guitar is out of tune. I think it's really important to pick up on that kind of stuff in your playing. And you've already said that you need to work on your tone, and again, that's good that you can identify what you need to work on.
