I currently don't have my own computer that is able to run Minecraft well. I have to use the family one (and that's annoying D;). So, will this computer be able to run Minecraft at decent settings, and will it be able to handle recording with FRAPS?
WiFi sounds horrible for gaming, but it's the easist way to get connected to the Internet from my room, so does this come with WiFi built in or will I have to buy something to get it wired up? Any suggestions of ways to get me connected in my room?
I added a USB wireless adaptor, so this isn't a problem anymore.
Electronics are super expensive in Australia, so it's cheaper just to buy something prebuilt. Shipping also burns a hole in the bottom of your wallet. I'm also a complete nub when it comes to building PCs and don't want to buy a whole bunch of expensive parts just for it to stuff up.
I would probably pay someone to build it for me. Electronics are expensive, but if you want a decent PC that doesn't break the bank, you have to buy all of the parts.
I'm guessing you wont be Overclocking? Cause that's a locked CPU. And if you're not Overclocking you don't need a CPU cooler, That RAM is overpriced. That GPU is, alright. although for the price I would go for an R9 270, I wouldn't use that case, I don't know anything about that PSU but it's probably fine. Alright, what's your budget? I can try to put one together.
Here. That's a bit better, for a little less then your build. Someone will have something to say about it though.

Thanks! As you could probably tell, I'm a complete noob when it comes to this stuff. I just kind of picked out things that I'd heard the name of before.
Edit: And I probably wouldnt have an optical drive. I don't think I'll buy any games on a disc for PC
Solid build, +1. I'd usually change the i5 to a 4460, but that doesn't save much money and there definitely is a performance gap between the 4460 and the 4590. The only change I'd definitely make is the case, as the 200R is the lowest-end of Corsair's offerings and isn't all that great. The Bitfenix Shinobi is the same price and is vastly better.
Alright, I changed it to that! Thanks!!! I would usually use the NZXT Source 210/Elite but I guess you can't get them in AU?
About the Optical drive, you can just take it out if you want. Although it's like less than 20$ so I just put it in. You never know when it could come in handy.

I would also swap the PSU as thermaltake isn't the best. You could get a Seasonic for the same price.

Ok. I'll just save a little more for something more decent. Thanks so much! I would of brought it if I hadn't been told it was bad.

Alright.
I just used it cause it was what he picked out and I'm not so great with PSUs.
EDIT the cheapest Seasonic in AU is 105$+
