CPU: i5 4590 @ 3.3GHz (turbo boosts to 3.7 though)
GPU: Sapphire R9 280
RAM: 8GB Team Vulcan 1600MHz
Mobo: ASRock H97m Anniversary
PSU: NZXT HALE82 550w (fully modular, I really like it)
OS: Windows 8.1 64bit (Just windows)
Case: Corsair 200R (Very pretty in a simplistic way)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB (Hard drive is hard drive)
ODD: Disk drive is disk drive (from an old computer)
It runs incredibly cool, nothing has gotten over 65C yet (the highest being 64 =p). I got a 3dmark Firestrike score of 6391, and I believe I crush your internet speed with 125Mb/s down and 25 Mb/s up.
I see you have a Z87 board, have you done any overclocking?
HD 7930?! Doesn't even exist. It's a HD 7870 Tahiti LE, right? Do you mind in posting a pic?
Yeah its a 7870 XT/Tahiti card but everyone knows its misnamed because its just a slightly gimped 7950. After overclocking, it's on par or slightly faster than the 7950. I dont have pics but it's this card- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131484
Versus a stock 7950, overclocked it would easily take the lead again with the excess memory bandwidth. IIRC the Myst also draws quite a bit more power, even closer to 250W when overclocked.
Yeah well, at the time that I bought it the Myst was like $100 cheaper than the full 7950. It was by far the best bang for your buck.
Currently I don't have a PC but I've been getting parts lists going and I'll be building one whenever I get £500 (so far it's either going to be a Pentium G3258 + 260X or an A10 6800k due to my needing of a monitor and keyboard).
My laptop specs:
Manufacturer is Toshiba so I don't have any airflow, temperature or build quality issues.
Pentium B950 w/ Intel HD (pretty sure it's the first Intel HD because Pentium but whenever I download drivers it's always for Intel HD 2000 and the updates actually apply to it so I just deal with it)
6GB RAM (Two modules in dual rank, 2GB and 4GB, speed is 1600MHz)
Monitor is a generic 15.6" horrible TN Panel with crappy viewing angles @ 1366x768.
750GB Hard Drive.
And somehow this thing can run the 100 games on my Steam library at playable framerates (30+ FPS, with some at 60FPS though EU4 runs at like 10FPS).
Off topic: Nice Another avatar. Was a pretty good show.
Just built my new rig (all I play is Minecraft, and some very light Steam games, so I didn't need anything super powerful. As long as it can record and stream, I'm good).

The one I am on is just a crappy Alienware M14xR2. Boo.
Did you ask anybody for help picking out parts? I could have told you that you don't need the thermal compound, you have an unlocked Z97 mobo with a locked processor, you could have gotten cheaper, better RAM, and the R9 280 is better than the 760 and costs less.

I did, but some was personal preference like RAM. The thermal paste is there just in case.

Probably a 7870XT.

Intel i5-4690k CPU @ 4.3 GHZ
Corsair H80i
NZXT Phantom 410 White/blue (with NZXT lighting strip).
A bunch of LED case fans...
8 GB DDR3 1600 mhz Kingston HyperX RAM (single module, planning to upgrade)
1 TB WD Blue HDD
MSI GTX 760 (actually hasn't arrived yet, which sucks. Suppose to come this month).
Pretty generic 128 gig A-Data SSD
I've got 2 Acer V233HL (yes, IK they're TN, and no, I don't notice because they have good viewing angles).
Oh, and a pretty standard 650 watt PSU from Ultra.
I've just installed a BUNCH of LEDs (more on the way), so if anyone wants pics of my setup, tell me.
Oh.... Windows 8.1 Pro, too. Got a nice Black Friday deal on it. #ThriftyLivin' Don't hate, but this is my first ever Windows machine
You need a watercooled 4690k and a 760 to play minecraft and light steam games?
The one I am on is just a crappy Alienware M14xR2. Boo.

You prefer slower, more expensive RAM?
