I'm in the process of developing my own server for public use, but, as a noob to the whole server-owning thing, I'm not entirely sure if this is possible. I'm wondering if it's possible to use a reverse proxy on a home-hosted server. Please don't try and convince me to get a VPS or dedicated server, as I've already weighed my options, and decided that I'll enjoy home-hosting the most, despite the obvious potential issues. If at all possible, I was planning on using https://ddosdeflect.com/index.php for my server.
Why do you want to use a reverse proxy? Privacy reasons? Just choose your players carefully and it won't matter if they have your real IP address. Or use a dynamic DNS (www.dyndns.com) which hides your IP from all but the really techie folks.
I have a question about reverse proxies
