This is my first time on the site so I wasn't sure where to post this, if it's in the wrong place just let me know. I am getting ready to purchase my first gaming computer. I just have a couple of questions. I want to stream minecraft on twitch using obs, would 8gb be enough for this? Or should I go with 16 to be safe? Here are the specs of 2 computers I am looking at, please let me know which would be best. I am not looking for a hardcore gaming computer, just one that I can stream minecraft on as I do not plan on playing any other games.
First computer:
AMD FX 8320 3.5GHz, 8GB, ATI Radeon HD 7850 GPU, 1TB hard drive
Second computer:
AMD FX 6300 3.5GHz, 16GB, GeForce GT 640 2GB GPU, 1 TB hard drive
8GB of memory is perfectly fine for streaming and recording. The first build with the 8320 is better suited to your needs, however you may want to add a second HDD to record to.
For $750, that's not a bad pre-built system. Its fairly balanced in comparison to what you usually see.
I have a Lenovo Ideapad 330s with a Ryzen 5 quad core, and 8GB ram with a 256GB SSD and I cannot run Minecraft over 60fps without optifine! It is a brand new laptop!

Hi, you'd probably want a discrete graphics card which gaming laptops typically come equipped with. Even a low-end, budget graphics card like the GTX 1050 will be able to run Minecraft at over 100 fps easily.
