Youtube does not support 16:10, it will re-encode it into 16:9, and because of this, you will get black bars around the left and right sides.
This must be pretty new, in that case.
Though how the hell would I know, YT seems to be changing literally everything once every few months for no reason.
edit: Looks like YT supports 16:10 now even after re-encoding, the video I posted above kept it's aspect ratio.
It did not support it as of June, so this must be rather new.
On that note, don't record in 16:10, it looks bad. Just put your screen resolution at 16:9 and record at that. Preferably 720p or 1080p.
It will look crappy when playing for you if you have a 16:10 monitor, but the end result will look MUCH better.
Plus, most video encoding seems to pump better quality if it's 16:9 over 16:10.
