Can't be a gaming laptop or my parents will get suspicious.
They'll be suspicious of you trying to play games on a laptop? I'm confused.
For laptop recommendations, I'd go with a MSI, Sager, or Asus. Those brands typically have the best quality, price, and performance. Stay away from Dell and Alienware like the plague.

I can't even find a laptop that cheap on any Australian site site, not to mention one that can run Minecraft.
Edit: Amazon USA ships to Australia: http://www.amazon.co...l?nodeId=596190
This laptop is a bit over budget (471.50 AUD) and it'll also cost you about $15 for shipping (not sure if this is in AUD or USD), but it's pretty much the cheapest laptop worth getting: http://www.amazon.co...77804992&sr=1-3
