Go with the 7970 OP it's truly superior in every way and it totally doesnt eat dust from dual 7950s nuh uh
It doesn't have nearly as many issues as a CF configuration and would work fine even for triple screens as I already posted, despite you trying to refute a Tom's benchmark.

45 is not 50, it must be said.
Also AA is nice.
But really, I think the 7970 might be a good choice. I asked Reddit.
Swap the PSU to either a Seasonic X650 for around the same price or an XFX ProSeries 650w if you want a cheaper unit. Also change the cooler to the Phanteks PH-TC14PE in your choice of color.

Sure, but why?
(by that I mean how do the things you recommend compare)
Also, will the build from 2 posts ago have USB ports and WiFi and Ethernet etc...?
The AX760 is overkill wattage and also very expensive But is it better? Will the one you suggested perform differently?
The Seasonic unit is more reliable and a bit cheaper, So it's more reliable and cheaper?
and the XFX unit is non-modular but also very reliable and much cheaper. How well will it do compared to the Seasonic?
Yes. Awesome!
3. The only real difference is that it isn't modular, since the XFX is a renamed SeaSonic.
The Seasonic is better than the XFX, according to Kruzzik:
Quote from Kruzzik_Kel »
based on Seasonic's KM3 platform which is easily one of the best designs out there right now only rivaled on regulation by Superflower's Leadex platform
Good, but I don't really see why you don't go with the cheaper memory and save a bit of cash.
Like I said if I want to upgrade to 32GB (which I probably will if I want to run the type of design and games of around 2018 and up as well as I do the type of things in 2013, and buying 32GB is more expensive than buying 16GB to add on to your already only 2 slots 16GB
Any ideas about the CPU? Nobody's really touched on that in a while, is this one good or is there a better one for the same price / a equal one for cheaper?
That has nothing to do with it.

They haven't answered.
Yet............
Well if you can Crossfire then yes, it is superior in EVERY way. Except price
Why? They aren't Alienware employees, you know.
I hope they aren't.
So...a single 5450?
Because it's not what he himself suggested despite the rest of us proving a single 7970 would be better in your case.
Unless 7950s are $200 or less, no.

Yes.
Why the Phanteks cooler? Any reason?
The Seasonic is better than the XFX, according to Kruzzik:
If you're fine with a slightly less reliable (but still very solid) and non-modular, but far cheaper unit, get the XFX ProSeries 650w.

So far I think all the parts are pretty good, and I could definitely order this right now and I definitely won't be sad.
Although, why not see if we can make some more improvements?
Also, do you think 650 is enough Wattage for my parts? 3 monitors seems like it would use up a lot.
Also I'm approaching 3000 posts
Swap the memory to this, the PSU to this and you're good to go.

Really?
(I just need confirmation about the literal-ness and validity of that statement, because if it's right I'll happily switch to Evil's suggestion.
