It's a workstation card, won't handle gaming well at all.
Kk, I wanted to play Plantside 2, and I already have like 6.0+ system specs (Scale to 7.9) but my graphics card is crap so I needed a new one badly. Any ideas on which one to get?
But in all honesty you probably have a prebuilt and your PSU/mobo probably (definitely) can't handle thay. You could upgrade your PSU & vcard, get a 7750/650 (probably the best idea, PS2's graphics aren't anything special and 60FPS is really the only goal in MMOs), or just get a whole new rig for that price (probably a really bad idea)
i5 4670k @ 4.9GHz - Stock Heatsink - The rest is melted silicon but I think I have a graphics card in there somewhere It surprises me how many people on this forum can't read benchmarks.

You play PS2 poorly because it is a poorly coded game. The way it handles PhysX is abysmal and many issues are still leftover from the beta.
The system specs in windows means nothing. Literally. Absolutely nothing.
Your CPU would be the problem here, not the GPU. Again, physx.

Is it still really impossible to run? I saw that it took a high end machine to run it playably in Beta, I wasn't sure if they fixed it for release or not.

My brother's GTX 460 and Phenom build can run it on high preset at about 45 fps.

It is FAR easier to run now, but heavily dependent on your setup.
Considering it uses Physx an unhealthy amount, it will obviously be more optimized for Nvidia cards. However, even that said, it still runs like poop for some people. Though again, not nearly as bad as in the beta.
Most of the problems are due to how it offloads things. If you have an AMD card then physx is running on the CPU, which will be quite slow.
It also depends on the size of the battle/how many people are around. You might get 60FPS on high with a few people around, but as soon as more than, say, 10 enter your FoV your FPS will take a nosedive.

Ok, so I might be ok with my 560ti. I haven't installed it yet, still thinking about it. Looks like fun though.
my old Pentium g2102 (i think thats it) with a 7870 ran it maxed at 60fps in most battles. never dropped under 40.

with no large battle I get 60+ once tank battalion comes rolling down the hill and action starts I get around 20 to 30 FPS all on high or ultra whatever the set up is on 1920x1080
Honest opinion, yes or no?

Could google Speccy, download it, and run it and post a screenshot of it?

Judging literally anything by it isn't a good idea.

I played it in the old, old closed beta, and it was so poorly coded... I talked to people In-Game, nobody had above 30FPS at that time...

and do not get that GPU and first I thought it recommended you this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133347
but look at gaming GPU's not workstation GPU's
It's tough to learn how to play it but after i got used to it i loved it. I can run it fine with my 7950 so you'll probably be good.
7950=560ti x2. World of difference there.

, thought you said 660ti. Just turn down a few setting and it will be fine. PhysX is also running on my cpu, you won't have that problem
