However, they are all before I had a dvd drive in my computer.
I remember installing my dvd drive in my old pentium 4 rig. I was the first person in the house that could play DVDs and the family wanted to borrow my computer for watching new movies.
So worth the $218 the DVD drive cost. And this wasn't even a burner, it was just a reader!
I don't use my DVD drive in my computer any more though, I've ripped all my physical media onto my HDDs and have no use for it any more.
Proud member of the MCF AWA war of '13! if someone suggests Alienware or Cyberpower, wait for a custom-built list from someone who knows their stuff. Meh Rig

I used to have a portable CD player when I was a kid in the 90s.
At my house now, our living room TV is hooked up to an HTPC with a Blu-ray drive, but we also have an XBOX360 (DVD) and PS3 (DVD/Bluray) right next to it. The kitchen TV has a built-in DVD player. The bedroom TV has a Blu-ray/DVD player. If you want to watch DVDs on a respectable screen size, you're either going to have to hook a computer up to your TV or have a standalone player.
I dont own one anymore.I used to.But it broke.

It isn't used very often, which is a pity.
