I am planning on getting the Das Keyboard rather soon and I am wondering which would be better for me, the brown switches or the blue switches? I game quite a bit, but I also type at times. Any help would be appreciated.
I might have got my colours mixed up, but blue and brown pretty much feels and behaves the same except that browns are silent and don't have that awesome "clicky" sound to them. If you have sleeping relatives nearby go for browns, if not and you like the clicky sound (i love it) go for blues.

Nope.
Blues are completely different, and generally not recommended for gaming:
actually, thats debatable. Feedback from blues consist of sound and the bump... Both switches have the same actuation point.. Its just a matter of time it takes to get the actuation to your brain.
Depends on the person. For me, it felt like a keypress took longer to register with the blues than the brown/black/reds.

No, they're the exact same, fm. You're wrong here.
Blues have 50g actuation, browns have 45g (might be the other way 'round), and they both have tactile bumps at the actuation point.
Brown is silent, blue is clicky.
