I am soon to upgrade my system to the following: CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2687W (8 Core 16 thread at 3.1Ghz) Motherboard: Asus P9X79 Ram: 64GB at 1866Mhz Graphics Card: GTX 780 (when it gets released at the end of the year) Hard Drives: 480GB Intel 520 SSD x 2 (Raid 0), 240GB Intel 520 SSD x 2 (Raid 1), 120GB Intel 520 SSD for scratch disk/cache drive, 6 x 4TB Hitachi Enterprise AK4000's (set into 3 groups of Raid 1 arrays) Soundcard: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium with a set of Audioengine A5+ speakers and a yet to decide gaming headset I plan on picking up another Sony PVM-2541 so I have a proper dual monitor setup, and using the smaller TV as an auxiliary monitor.
I nearly lost it when he mentioned his Xeon/64GB RAM upgrade, but I swear I almost fell out of my chair when he mentioned 6 4TB Hitachis.

It makes me laugh when I compare them to me, scrounging to build the best possible PC with my $900. Kids at my school who are like the WarZ people laugh at me because I have an matx board, but I laugh at them because they will never know the joy of working for your own goal.
