Well, I finally got around to redoing my computer's wiring. This post will mainly be photos. Just like to say that the SSD was a huge pain to get in there.
I'm just going to leave this imgur link here and put the best photo in the post. Please check out the album though. http://imgur.com/a/VhoMp
Had to add a bit of tape on the smallest side of it (in the picture it would be the side closest to the camera.)
The bent SATA cable goes through one of the vents in that hard drive bay and the flat SATA power just goes straight back. The problem was there was a bit of a ridge, so when I connected the power it kind of make the SSD stick out because those power cables are so dang rigid.
You should have tried to see if you could get all the excess cables behind the motherboard tray.
Meh, it would've been too messy. Plus I didn't have any zip ties or anything to tie the cables back. I found a twisty tie on a bag of bread for one thing of cables, and I used a rubber band for the ones under the hard drives.
I didn't see the point in making it messy behind the motherboard. It would've been really hard to fit them anyway.
And yeah, it's a Phantom 410. Specs in signature.
Nice work, found the ssd easily . Have you tried hiding it behind the motherboard where the cable management is? Would have looked even more sleek. From the side that has the window it looks pretty nice but from the other side the cables look like a total mess lol. Did you look over the parts though before you bought your components? Poo brown pcb motherboard and white psu in a black case, makes it look so generic . Overall 9/10 though, what video card is that? nvm, sig.

Yeah. It's pretty hard to fit all the cables you don't need behind the motherboard tray, but it looks pretty awesome when you do.

I wasn't trying to hide the SSD, I just didn't want it boring in one of the drive bays. I like showing it off. I didn't choose the motherboard, that was chosen by my uncle. I was GOING to get a Extreme3 Gen3 (best mobo at the time), but he ended up getting me this as a birthday present. No complains. It has blue heatsinks, I'm good.
As for the PSU, I didn't really know anything at all about PSUs, and someone chose it for me right on these very forums. Back when Fieldzy was more active. He did the build for me.
As for the back, it was actually really well done, thanks to my friend's help for not having any zipties or twisty ties except the one.
Yeah. 850 watt Seasonic 80+ Silver.
It's a really good PSU, but I wish I had known more when getting it so I could've gotten an 80+ Gold modular 650 watt or something. Oh well, this will certainly last me a while.
Just realized GPU looks slanted. It's not that heavy. Anything I can do to fix that or does it not matter?

oooh ok fair enough then, you did a good job with the back in that case.

Try to find the SSD.

NZXT Phantom, right?

Airflow shouldn't be a problem. I'll monitor HDD temps though. Thanks for reminding me.
It's an SSD, I should get to show it off. Just because it's an SSD.
