I know that I am not the only one that carries a flash drive with me. What are the things that are on your flash drives?
Here's mine:
YUMI with:
AVG repair tool
Ubuntu
Mint
Fatdog
Tails
Memtest86
Aircrack
Ophcrack
Locknote with Social, Will (Not a legal one, makeshift for parents), and a couple other important things.
Applications/setup files:
CCleaner
Defragger
TrueCrypt
Locknote
Gimp
Paint
Java
Malwarebytes
MSE
AVG
Zune
Itunes (32 bit and 64)
VLC
Yahoo
Skype
HWMonitor
AMDmonitor
OpenOffice
LibreOffice
MSIafterburner
Ophcrack (.exe and extra tables)
Speccy
GPU-Z
CPU-Z
Notepad++
TI 83/84 emulator
YUMI and another USB installer.
VirtualBox and images for Ubuntu, Ophcrack, Mint, and Aircrack.
Opera (32 bit and 64 bit)
Chrome
Firefox
Waterfox
Chromium
Safari
Wubi
I have a bootable 4 gig drive with a copy of Windows 7, a bootable 8 gig with a copy of OSX, and a 512MB (lol) which I seem to have lost, which has a few school projects and such from last year. I don't carry any around, though.
I should take one of my flashdrives and make it the "Nerdrive". that means....
PORTABLE FIREFOX
INSTALLERS FOR AVAST/MALWAREBYTES/PAINT.NET/SIMILAR PROGRAMS
SSH CLIENTS
PORTABLE MINCERAFT INSTALL
EMULATORS AND A PLETHORA OF ROMS
ALL OF MY BRONY SONGS
and various other nerdy things.
Oh, also, quick question - what's the likelyhood of a program working if installed directly to a flashdrive instead of an internal harddrive? I understand something like an antivirus definitely wouldn't work, but what about Paint.NET? Or is there a portable version of it?
i don't have a flashdrive, i have a 500GB hard drive i carry around.
Damn, that's hardcore.
Mildly off-topic, am I the only one who thinks it would be cool to make a tiny chassis with a Raspberry Pi and a high-capacity 2.5" drive (with a USB-SATA adapter), and use it as the most portable computer ever?
I installed Xubuntu on to my other USB drive using a Xubuntu Live USB Drive.
It's very confusing. I even partitioned it so that if you plug it into a turned on windows computer it will just show up as a 1 gigabyte fat32 drive. Huzzah for no ext4 compatibility!

Do you carry a wallet with you?
Get something like this and put it in one of the card slots.
Sucks, why are you broke?
I should fix it up and put some more junk on it now that school has started.
I have a 32GB USB3.0 flash drive.
