So besides that and a screwdriver, is there anything else I need? I've watched the Newegg Tutorial about three times and it seems like he just pulls more and more wires out of nowhere. It makes me a bit nervous. So I'm just asking now if there's anything else that would be necessary.
nop,e that is everything you need to assemble a fully operational gaming powerhouse, as for the wires, the only ones that are slightly tricky are the ones for the power switches on the front of the case and the status lights, they're labeled in the manuals though, and if they do get messed up it will not hurt anything, you'll just have to pull them off and put them back in the right way (i did the same thing, you cannot hurt it if you put them on wrong) just read the motherboard's manual and some of the case manual, and you will be totally fine
The 6870 will be able to play ultra on almost every single game.
Not really, I have a 6870 and it doesn't play almost every single game on ultra. Skyrim on high without filters, BF3 on medium-high without filters well (with solid 60fps), etc.
Don't forget 6870 is a medium-high or high-low range videocard.

Why do you say to switch out the i3 for the Pentium? And how big is the difference between 6850 and the 6870?
