G1 Assassin is a matx board.
MATX in a mid tower case is stupid.
I'd wait for the price wars to finish.
The 680 might get as low as 400$ =D
I'm hoping on it!
Edit: Not to mention, both me and you are waiting for our builds.
Also the twin frozr is out on newegg http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814127672
(this was in my bookmarks)
Yeah, I was just using an example green board. Unfortunately, not that many exist D: If the 680 gets as low as $400, that would be AMAZING, though I doubt it. Heck, $450 or even $470 would be a nice drop. They'll probably try and up each other by $10 or so every time they drop, though that's just my guess. AMD will probably go lower in the end as they make money from processors as well, whereas nVidia only makes GPU's. Then again, going lower might make them more money in the long run. I'm going to get the twin frozr version, but pcpartpicker hasn't listed it yet as of half an hour ago. By the time I get all of my money, the price wars may well be done.
No, it's an XL ATX X58 board. However I believe he's referring to the G1 Sniper 3 and M3, which are Z77 boards (one is ATX, other is mATX).
Source? I highly doubt it.
Or at least 450$

So do I, but then I feel the 660Ti will come and molest "be faster performing" it at most at like the same price. Why I plan to wait, as much as I wish to replace this HD5770, the wait is well worth it. Buck for Bang type of thing.
I might just wait until a great graphics card is available for a sweet deal, like the 480 is on sale right now for $210. If I needed a new graphics card, I'd get that, but I don't. So I'm waiting until I do need one. lol.

Hey, if the 7970 goes as low as 430$ or something crazy as that, then I'll get one, not to mention 3 free games!

480 is old though...
On the other hand 210$ is super cheapJust thought of this.
If the 7950 are 400$ (current prices of 580's)
Then the twin frozr 580s will go down in price!

I don't care if it's old, it's better than the 560 ti, which is more expensive. lol.
