Title says it all what are you favorite gaming keyboards and mice?
I own the Logitech G510 gaming keyboard and i have a crappy hp mouse at the moment. Thinking about getting the razer naga. Anyone have good/bad experience with this mouse?
I have owned the same Razer Mamba for years, and it's never let me down.
I got it as a return item at best buy for 50.00 dollars *because the guy who marked it down was retarded* and I added my employee discount *which the associate wasn't supposed to let me do but she was an idiot* which brought down to 32 dollars for a brand new mouse.
The only thing that was wrong with it was it was missing the instruction manual and had never been taken out of the seal.
"Gaming" keyboards and mice are designed with the the sole purpose of separating people who don't know any better from their money.
Maybe for people with no knowledge of what product they are buying.
There are many products with high end price and low end performance, and I'm not here to convince you to change your opinion. I buy a decent mouse with a faster polling rate so I can utilize my fast reaction time in shooters.
I buy a keyboard with no ghosting so I can use multiple macros at once time.
Conventional keyboards stop after just 3 simultaneous button presses. Having a keyboard with no ghosting lets me use multiple macros at the same time in Starcrat II that saved my ass.
If you've ever played any competitive games such as CSS, TF2, or Starcraft II you would realize that conventional equipment doesn't hold up.
Does buying an expensive keyboard and mouse make you a better player?
No, but it does allow the people who want to get better, do just that.
If using what you do now suffices for you, then keep doing so.
Don't bring everyone else down to your level just because you may have had a bad experience with a certain product.
When it comes to keyboards, I've been looking into the Das Model S Professional Keyboard. Never seen anyone say anything bad about one, and brown switches sound so nice. I like the Razer BlackWidow, too, but they just don't seem reliable enough.
As for mice, I had no idea where I'd even start looking. I'm ridiculously un-picky about mice as long as it's a laser mouse. Hell, right now I'm using a Microsoft laptop mouse. The thing is TINY.

I don't know about other people, but I've had my BlackWidow for about a year now without problems. And I play a lot of games and do a lot of typing for school.
As for the main topic, I have a Razer DeathAdder for my mouse.

The BlackWidow is decent, but just not worth the price. If you really wanted LEDs and all that jazz, you'd look into a Ducky, which is VERY worth the price. The Das is pretty damn awesome, I have used my friend's Das before, and it feels a lot more solid than the BlackWidow, even though they're both MX Blues.
A great gaming mouse that I've had for a year and the previous owner had for a few is, the Logitech G9. Great mouse, sturdy. I love the 2 grips that come with it and the speed control is just great. Everything feels like a gaming mouse should. It might not have all the fancy side buttons, but I really don't need them. Does everything I need it to do...

The Naga is pointless unless you are a True Hardcore RPG'er. The thing has like 21 buttons.
I'd suggest a Orochi with a Lycosa.

Wrong.
Gaming mice are meant to support people for tournaments and other gaming sessions.
They are supposed to handle lots of clicking, heat, and occasionally, sweat.
Keyboards on the other hand we're meant for the same thing AND key response.
I could go buy some high-end, wireless Dell keyboard, and after an hour or two of Minecraft, the keys will stick, get moist, and possibly break (In around a month of that).

I'm really big on RPG's but if you could recommend another good mouse (preferably blue as it would match my build) i would be happy to change my decision lol

My brother has it and he says he LOVES it, he uses it for WoW, EVE Online and a bunch more, he says its fairly convenient having the numbers on the side of the mouse as well as it feels pretty decent in his hand. I myself have a Razer Deathadder and it works pretty nice, :tongue.gif:
