Your bottleneck is videocard (Intel HD), intel's cards are TERRIBLE, so you need some videocard from low-range like radeon hd5570, or better, so you will be able to play team fortress without any slideshow.
EDIT: Forgot that this is laptop, sorry, but you won't be able to run team fortress 2 smoothly.
I would recommend the Radeon HD 5570. I use this card and it seems to handle gaming pretty well. I run Skyrim on 'ultra' graphics and I get no lag at all and they quality is great! But just a word of advice, dont mess with anti-aliasing. It can really ruin games like Minecraft and other games that use thousands of brushes in levels as it can create really annoying white lines where brushes end and start.
Here is the stuff:
Acer Aspire
Intel Core i3-370M
500 GB HDD
4 GB DDR3 Memory
Intel HD Graphics
15.6" HD LED LCD
Windows 7
That's what was on a label on the computer, and I don't know if thats enough info.
Please let me know about this. Thanks!
EDIT: Please?
I think you think I'm talking about RC2. I mean the seperate game "Team Fortress 2" :tongue.gif:
EDIT:
ANYBODY! PLEASE! Whenever I post something, it always gets ignored. :sad.gif:
Um...that's Minecraft. This topic is about Team Fortress...
I'd love to help but I'm horrible at rating computers, so I can't give my twosense...
EDIT: Forgot that this is laptop, sorry, but you won't be able to run team fortress 2 smoothly.
Intel HD graphics are awful, get something with a dedicated Nvidia or ATi graphics card.
The rest is fine.
No you cannot upgrade the graphics cards in laptops.
