Bro , thats a full server computer, I don't know what your talking about. It'd be fine, but keep in mind that you cannot play games on it --> no video card. Thats fine if it is a dedicated server. The only thing limiting you at this point would be your upload/download speed.
For the price, its great, but the processor isnt that great, but good enough for a server.
No, it is everything, but it isn't a good everything.
ok try to turn it on then? it needs a power supply for one thing and it ought to have a graphics card of some sort. also you will need to install linux through a thumb drive :tongue.gif:

Case comes with a power supply, it has a integrated GPU, and I have an external OD.

damnit you thihk they would bold the second item or something? but the integrated gpu steals ram from the rest of the computer. and the psu might last a month.

It'll have a lot of RAM left over, it's not going to have that many people using the server at once.
Keep in mind that network speeds are the main factor in server hosting. You can have a phenomenal computer but be off in Siberia, and no one would get good response times.

Actually first I need better internet, then the server.

What would be a good everything for a minecraft server? :O
Add me and we can play pc
Normally I would go for an Intel, but I want to try out an AMD processor.
It would work for 5-10 people, maybe 15 with some lag. I just meant it wasn't ideal.
I was thinking a type of Linux?
Yes. If you want a GUI, Lubuntu is fine. If you don't want a GUI, Ubuntu server edition is fine.
It's just to run a server...
