When It's time to upgrade the GPU would the motherboard hold a crossfire setup back? I am also planing to use a dedicated sound card.
it might if it runs them at x8/x8 speeds )x8 speed on each instead of 16x each. only the higher end mobos support crossfire x16/x16 speeds. so in a sense yes, but if the GFX cards scale well, it shouldnt matter

"*The PCIEX16_2 slot shares bandwidth with the PCIEX1_1 slot, PCIEX1_2 slot and USB3_34 connector. The PCIEX16_2 runs at x1 mode by default for system resource optimization"
Yes, that's a bit odd. Missed it, sorry about that... Basically it means, that if you put in there a second graphics card and set it to work at x4, you will probably lose both of the pcie ports between pci-e x15 slots and the two usb3 slots.
well single gpu setups are really better anyway, sure they're not as fun to showoff, but in reality unless you buy the top graphics cards, you can save money and get the same performance by just buying a more expensive single gpu.

I think it runs them 8x/4x. :sad.gif:
Yes I do.
lol does that seem a bit deceptive to anyone else?
