Hello!
So,recently I've decided to play minecraft, when I was called by my mother and needed to help her.
I've quit Minecraft on the Main Opening Screen Title (You know, where you launch the game) (See Pic.1)
So. I've left it on that screen for about 2 hours, and came back to play back,And I notice that the Overall "Minecraft" title was seen even after I loaded into the game and it still was there...And then the buttons, pretty much everything that was on the screen was just "Ingraved" onto my screen.
So,I just tried to Screenshot it,and Understood that problem is with the Screen itself, not the Matrix nor the pixels.
(See Pic.2 and Pic.3 for reference ; That's the same picture from the perspective of the computer and The Tablet (My eyes))
I decided to just close the laptop, and let it cool.
I come back after an hour, and everything stayed the same.
Should I be worried that this is actually permanent or do something and write an email to the tech support?
(And yeah, the Bedrock Edition is a missclick, pardon me,I play on Java)
It's permanent, so if you can't just live with it you'll need to get the screen replaced. This is why you should always have a screensaver that kicks in after a few minutes (or, alternatively just turn the screen off).
The funniest thing that I had one automatically installed and I have used it before.
It was still active and said to be turning the screen off after 15 minutes of being AFK.
Got screwed over 3 times in a day, great.
It seems highly unlikely that any kind of screen would burn in after only a few hours.
Of course if you have played Minecraft for years it may have happened gradually and you just didn't notice it until now?
Wikipedia claims LCD screens have a kind of temporary burn in that should go away if you try showing normal pictures.
"Both plasma-type and LCD-type displays exhibit a similar phenomenon called transient image persistence, which is similar to screen burn but is not permanent. In the case of plasma-type displays, transient image persistence is caused by charge build-up in the pixel cells (not cumulative luminance degradation as with burn-in), which can be seen sometimes when a bright image that was set against a dark background is replaced by a dark background only; this image retention is usually released once a typical-brightness image is displayed and does not inhibit the display's typical viewing image quality."

Good luck.
Minecraft may well keep the screensaver from kicking in, the start screen is animated after all.
Just testing.
