I am currently using a Lenovo Thinkpad x240 with an i5 4200u and a standard 500GB HDD. Will these 2 SSD's Make a difference to my games (Mainly Minecraft and CS:GO)
karlzhoa314 said it all. I'd just add that I, personally, would get an SSD upgrade if you're using a regular drive because I assume you do more than just Minecraft with the computer. When I went from a normal drive to an SSD I was pretty happy with the general Windows performance increase. Boot times, responsiveness, just generally more "perky". Just do your research and be sure you choose quality drives.
Why do you comment on my reply to another user. The "5k monitor thing..." was said to Karlzhao.
And okay, remove ram from your computer and then try to laungh it. Try to play without any ram or graphics card. Don't eighter use virtual ram. Take screenshots and post them here.
And what makes you believe Minecraft is not ram based game? Every program drains ram, what's so ever.

I'm not arguing so that is why I don't put arguments. I comment. He's
You are literally spreading bad info all over the forums. Minecraft is in no way ram intensive. Obviously everything uses ram, but allocating more ram to minecraft isn't changing anything. I've done plenty of benchmarks myself, and 1gb of ram is all minecraft needs (unless you're running mods)
And Karlzhao is talking about 5k monitors because YOU keep talking about VRAM. He's proving that minecraft doesn't use a lot of VRAM even on very high res monitors. And I hope you know that display resolution directly affects VRAM usage

I am thinking of switching to a Seagate Laptop Gaming SSHD (I use a laptop) and also adding in an extra MyDigitalSSD for my M.2 slot.

I get 40-120 fps with this laptop. xD. Just checkin if an upgrade would help it so I can actually record with less lag.
Thanks!
