I need a new pc for mc. Willing to spend $400 max. Please do not bs me and go "any pc under $600 is trash". I currently have a 2012 acer $250 laptop that has crap specs that can run mc at 30 fps medium setting. For 400 dollars I know I can get pretty good performance on mc but I just need to know which parts would be cheapest and best for mc.
I put together a build with a cheap Pentium processor and a $100 graphics card that should do you well for Minecraft. If you like, you can save money by going for 4 GB of RAM instead of 8, but in this day and age, and if you plan to do modded Minecraft, I highly recommend 8 GB. I also threw in a cheap 120 GB SSD, which is faster than a traditional hard drive (HDD). For the same money, you could switch it out for a 1 TB HDD if you prefer.

$400 is a very tight budget for a gaming PC, but it's very well possible. Check out this link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/m6kpNN

If you plan on building a PC, make sure you're prepared for the build. Watching build guides is a great way to learn about the building process - Austin Evans has a few that I recommend you watch. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Austin Evans how to build a PC
