What should I change? I also don't want a but ugly pc......
Sorry for duplicates don't know what hepped there... sorry!
If you're only playing Minecraft, it's completely overkill. There's literally no point in spending more than $500 on a minecraft build. Hell, a $300 build could max out MC with ease.
First off, drop the i7. Completely worthless for minecraft as it won't be taking advantage of the extra cores. Second, get the cheapest DDR4 ram. Spending $100 on 16gb of ram is just throwing away money. Third, don't wait to get a 1070. Get one now if you want one. It's pointless buying a worse GPU just to upgrade in a couple months.
I get a very nice mobo, super cool ram, and a gpu that's plenty until I start to play gtav etc.
What defines as a "better mobo"? You're essentially paying over $150 more on something that's not going to affect performance at ALL, and all it gives you is some minor features that I guarantee you will never use. As for the ram, you're literally paying $55 more for something that looks a little better. It's throwing away money.
This will be going on my desk, so I don't want some ugly, but powerful box if ya now what I mean.
My build has the same exact case...? Not sure what you mean?
So with the build abovw, anything wrong with i, like phisicky wromg.., besides the ram? 2 days ago it was $20 cheaper so I'll wait for that.
Thanks again for the help alexx! =D
The PSU could be better (The SuperNova G2 is better for the same price. Just higher quality), and it's just overpriced. There's literally no reason to spend $110 on ram and $240 on a mobo when the cheaper parts work just as well.
A better mobo for me means it has stuff I don't need NOW but stuff I might use later, good looks aka maches my color scheme, good review - looms the mobo I want.., has greatt reviews.
As for going on my desk, I want a good ratio of performed ce and looks. I am willing to sacrifice a little for better aesthetics.
As for ram, like I said 2 days ago it was only 15 more then regular ram, a killer dealer if you ask me! I'm sure they will drop soon enough.
You don't need a Maximus, above recommended Gigabyte GA-Z170X-GAMING 6 would be fine (heck, i'm getting a 4.8GHz OC out of my Z170 Pro Gaming and it has features that i'll never use, despite being even lower cost than the GA-Z170X). You'd be much better off spending the extra money on a better GPU.
You could also get an M.2 SSD rather than 2.5", and the fans are probably not the best choice. Other than that, looks okay so long as it fits your budget.

Ok. Thanos! What ssd do you recon? Alao, what fans? I don't want to spend 20 on each fan. (Cough cough noctua)
Hello world!
Also, the title was supposed to mean finalizing, not whatever that says xD
I have been working on these part lists for months now, and I will be ordering parts in the next 2 weeks.

Out of all of them, which is the best? As for the platinum ram, it was cheaper 2 days ago.. like 90 so yeah.. lol
I plan on getting a 1070 when I can... lol
I pretty much only play minecraft so I think a 950 would be enough, but a 960 would be considerably better.
Thanks for helping a PC noob out =D
They are all extremely unbalanced and way more expensive then they need to be.
Are you going to even be overclocking?

This will easily run 500+ fps on Minecraft.

The 1070 you posted is now 550...... that's getting close the 1080 territory lol
Also..... I rather get a better mobo and stuff and later get a better gpu. I think a 960 will be plenty for now, then letrr get a 1070 or even a 1080.
So, let's say I go with this build,

This is what I put together. Cheaper yet will work just as good. And keeps a nice black/red color scheme.

How's that?
How do you get it to display the parts? I'm missing something here.....
