Im planing on getting a new computer, unlike what I would normally do and go to Harvey Norman, I would like to build a pc.
Since this is my first time trying it, I am unsure what parts I should be looking at,
I don't want to do overclocking.
Needs / Wants:
I eyed to be able to run 2-3 adobe programs at once for when I'm working.
I also want to be able play most games at mid/high settings and play Minecraft modpacks (example: Crazycraft, madpack and skyfactory) without lagging.

$400 AUD isn't nearly enough money
Gaming PC Specs - Intel i5-2500K ~ ASUS P8P67M-Pro ~ Hyper 212+ ~ MSI GTX 970 OC ~ 8GB DDR3 Ram ~ 250GB Samsung EVO 850 ~ 500GB HardDrive ~ XFX 550w PSU ~ Fractal Core 1000 ~ Windows 8.1 ~ Samsung P2350 1080p Soon upgrading to GTX 1080/R9 490X + 1440p 144Hz
Macbook Pro 15" Retina - Intel i7 ~ 8GB Ram ~ Nvidia GT 650M ~ 256GB SSD ~ 2880 by 1800 Screen <3
That would be OK for him, although the intel Core i3 you suggested for him may not be way better for demanding games.
For $700 budget there's nothing better. It's not going to bottleneck a 750 Ti anyways

I see. Meaning to say that i3 and better is the recommended CPU for Minecraft.
The best CPU for games that are optimized like Minecraft and CS:GO, an overclocked Pentium G3258 is king.
